The tour, though quite grand, had left more questions than answers about the pride that her mother and her had chosen to take a vacation to. For starters, where were the members? The pair had been left at the beach, drenched from a swim that left Krisis the most refreshed she had ever been.
So leaving behind her mother, who had opted to dry out at the beach, she straightened the tiara she had been gifted with, shook some of the loose water free and began her search. They were cubs, youth - sure they seemed to be a touch further than they should have been they had to still be fairly close to the pride to feel comfortable. Unless she was mistaken and the cubs had no idea what 'comfort' or 'security' meant. She smiled as she realized that was a great possibility.
"Where oh where.."
She wondered out loud, paws moving slowly over the warm sands. As she considered her own paws on the sands she realized.. the key to unlocking the mystery would be to see if those cubs left a trace of the direction they had gone. Of course plenty of time had past, but none the less the goddess found herself staring at the ground, rather than watching where she was going, trying to find anything to give her a hint.

If she was looking for signs of life she wouldn't have to wander too far, if anything she just had to listen. The morning had started off well for him, he genuinely couldn't find any complaints with it, but as the day had progressed he had noted that there was something amiss. He hadn't been able to put his paw on it, but as lunch had approached he was subject to multiple rounds of foreboding twinges. Something was coming, he didn't know what it was or who it was, but something was definitely coming...
He usually wasn't the paranoid sort but even he had taken to looking over his shoulder every so often just in case.
Unfortunately the lion really should have been looking up instead of behind him. You see, there were some cubs in this world who just wanted to help in the smallest possible ways. They may have thought that it was an amazing idea and that he and others would have greatly appreciated it... But when they didn't quite understand the laws of physics it didn't tend to end well. Solomon was just about to discover this as he knocked the wrong rock at the wrong time and unseated what little had been propping up the soil over his head.
What came next was a thunderous bang as soil and rock came tumbling down, almost completely burying the now rather startled lion underneath. What had been surprised soon turned to irritation though as his howl of undetermined names rippled out from underneath the ruins...

Krisis paused in her step as a large amount of noise disrupted her thoughts. "Seriously." She grumbled. Of course she was looking for them, but did they have to be so loud? With the tracks forgotten she began to make her way to the source of the noise, upon her arrival she discovered what appeared to be a structure in ruins, a disgruntled (and buried) individual with a temper - if she had to guess those cubs they had met were likely involved.
"Hello?" She crept forward, a touch thrown off by the yelling since if her memory served her correctly these lions were meant to be calm, cool and collected. Yet if she had been buried by all of that debris she'd have been in a right furious state. "Are you alright?" Krisis opened her wings and used a single one to cover her nose briefly as a cloud of dust came near, the dust tickled her nose and she gave the smallest of sneezes (which would have appeared odd). The other wing, open and awkwardly at her side this way, gave a small flap to remove some of that dust. After succeeding in clearing up her own air space she was satisfied.
"What happened anyhow?"

Another explosion soon followed as the white lion hauled himself from the rubble; his otherwise pure coat had been utterly ruined by the dirt and his mane was strewn this way and that. Solomon didn't often get angry, but when he did... Well, as of now his eyes were positively gleaming with malice. Even his facial expression was decidedly unpleasant, but he did at least remember his manners enough to acknowledge the lioness. Admittedly he seemed to have gone wing-blind and didn't quite notice she was a deity but he could partially blame his own mother for that one.
"Well a house fell on me," he explained and motioned to the ruins as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer?
With a growl he lifted up his paw and dragged it through his mane, closing his eyes briefly as he considered his options. He knew who they culprits were, or rather he was fairly confident he knew who they were... He just needed to catch them. Then he needed to punish them, and then he needed to fix this mess.
"If you have seen two demonic hellspawn running about perhaps you could direct me to wherever they went," he said at last and heaved a sigh. "I believe I need to perform an exorcism on their psychotic little bodies."
...Well, he seemed nice.

"Oh my."
Were the only words that immediately left the mouth of the goddess as she watched the pure white spectacle emerge from the dirt pile - though of course she was only assuming he was supposed to be white, under all of that dust and such that littered his pelt. "Excuse me?" Now the fires were lit, her eyes were wide, but now two blazing orbs of red-orange at his sudden outburst. "Also, that is what would be considered a house around?" Krisis didn't hide the disgust that filled her tone. Her disgust, though poorly aimed at the rubble, was meant more for the situation, how dare he.
His request was greeted with a snort. "As it stands I will do no such thing for the likes of you." Though she forced herself down from the ledge of purely being angry she was still agitated, with how the lion had spoken to her he would not be receiving any help.
"Besides, if they are who I'm thinking they might be they were terrific tour guides and were much kinder when we arrived for vacation than you probably have ever been in your damned life."
It was clear that perhaps she may have forgotten her place, may have forgotten that this lion just had a house fall on him and so the attitude could all be explained - attack first, ask questions later, kiss and make up as necessary.

Really? She was going to do this now?
He gave her a disgruntled glance and simply shook his head, he didn't have time to deal with more children when he had to discipline the meddling twins. Oh he was sure their intentions had been good, but that didn't necessarily mean that they would be successful. Days of work had been ruined, if not weeks, and it was going to take even longer to correct it. If she wanted to ram a stick up her a** for some reason beyond his comprehension at his time, then he sincerely hoped it would sprout some flowers at the end to at least make her a little more appealing.
Everyone liked pretty flowers, would make for a conversation piece if they came out of her a**.
"A part of a house," he dismissed her as he strode away; he had no time to humour the judgmental. If she wanted to see real homes then she could keep walking to where the finished ones were. Hell, there were even some nearby that had already been decorated! However he did paws, perhaps inexplicably for a moment and glanced round, narrowing his eyes at the otherwise arrogant lioness.
"By the way princess, your little tiara is filthy," he pointed out and continued walking. "Such a shame salt makes them rot!" he called merrily as he became cup-hunt bound...

The glance, which hadn't been met by a gasp or some reaction of 'oh my, you're a goddess' reminded her that this pride had seen their fair share of her kind and so to have another one about was no treat or special occasion. Why had they come here again? Oh yeah, to ******** relax.
"A part, you're whining and carrying on over only a part of a house?" Sure she was reminded that her kind wasn't unusual, that wasn't stopping the fit of rage she had been thrown into. "You are rude, arrogant and clearly this pride is incapable of minding their own damned young. So before you go blaming the cubs maybe the parents ought to be spoken to." Perhaps not the best choice of words, of course she still thought the world of these boys. They had been nothing but kind to her, if she did have the chance to speak with their parents she'd happily tell them the same thing.
"You think some filth is going to take me away from this conversation?" Of course as she said that a small amount of alarm flickered in her eyes and she was already moving to retrieve the piece featured in her hair. Bringing it to her eyes she was greeted with precisely what he had said, filth. "Damn this pride, damn Tethys and damn the ideas he put into my Mothers head." Her words were harsh. The first sight she caught of her mother she'd suggest they leave, this place wasn't fit for relaxing, exactly the opposite actually.

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! He was being followed, whoever would have thought? Of course the little princess wouldn't leave him alone and it was with a bark of laughter that he turned round. All right, if they were going to do this then they were going to do it right. Thus he strode directly towards her, still blind to her wings, and smacked his paw down straight on to her nose where he held it. It was at this point that he began to press down, an attempt to force her to look him dead in his steely eyes.
"I would love for you to advise the Baharimtoto king and queen on how they should raise two of their nine offspring," he said with a sly smirk. "Please, lead them by example and show them how best to attend to said offspring. Demonstrate your parenting capabilities so that we might marvel at them, tippy toes," he dropped his paw away and flicked at her chin. He wasn't generally this rude but today he was having none of it.
...Today he was a new Solomon.
The anti-Solomon.
He was the cubinator (once he found them).
"Given that you don't appear to have the capacity to process higher thought and therefore have no idea just how complex our work is, I'll leave the more simplistic jobs to you," he added and shook his head. "You think it's easy, you build your own damn house!" he snapped and continued on his way. Eventually he caught sight of something though, the quivering strands of long grass as they rapidly shifted across the horizon.
...This was when his smirk deepened.
"Gotcha."

Suddenly her personal space was invaded, he wasn't a small lion, in fact he was impression looking and so she hadn't expected such speed from him - though his speed had never been in question until precisely at this moment. The alarm bells were ringing and screamed in her head even louder when smacked a heavy paw to her nose. Her reaction was to gasp, widen her eyes and even drop her precious tiara.
If she hadn't already been in shock his words would have done the trick. Those cubs were royalty?! Still, she composed herself as quickly as she could and narrowed those red-orange eyes, fluffed up her pelt and even opened her wings a little bit (definitely not as scary looking as she would have liked). Alas she had no words and so the drama was lost in a silence. Finally the paw was removed, she could relax herself a small amount and she almost groaned at all of the tension rippling through her.
"Maybe. I. Will." A hearty growl rumbled in her chest. "How hard could it be if the likes of you can't even build one while some cubs are around!" She saw his attentions were else where and decided this was her opportunity to take leave.
"Just you wait and see..." What was his name? "Yoooou. I am going to build the best damned house this coast has ever seen." Just as she was about to turn away from him she caught sight of her tiara, picked up the piece and dusted away some debris, replaced it in her hair then finally made a dramatic turn to leave him to his plans of cub destruction.
The goddess had plans of her own, plans to find out how exactly build a house - what had she done.

"You do you," he replied noncommittally as the lioness stormed off. He didn't even look round as she chose to depart and instead, began to stalk closer towards his quarry. He was bigger than they were and so long as he prepared himself correctly he could take them both out at once; at the very least he could hold one hostage and given the other couldn't function without his sibling he'd be along to rescue him in no time.
...If there was ever to be a disney villain right now, it was Solomon.
Nevertheless, it appeared that today he wouldn't get his revenge as the twins did seem to have something else in mind. By the time he had managed to stalk after them, it seemed they had already retreated to their dens. Aha, it appeared that once again the nannies hadn't even realised they were gone; or maybe they did, and just couldn't bring themselves to chase after the little hellions...
