Damn it all! As much as she didn't want to admit it Organa needed to detour from her mission and seek medical help. She had gotten into a small fight with a territorial cheetah thinking that she might be there to steal their kill. She had won but the fight left her with a gash long her back leg. At first it was just a minor nuisance, a simple flesh wound that would surely get better in a few days.
Problem is: it hadn't. In fact it had gotten worse. The pain in her leg these past few days had damn near crippled her to a crawl. The final straw being when she woke up this morning with nausea and panting uncontrollably. A sign her body was overheating despite her feeling like someone had dunked her in a frozen lake. Even with her stubborn, proud nature she knew when to draw the line and realize that this fell well beyond the limits of her crude medical knowledge.
Luckily Organa knew exactly who to turn to in this crisis. She had met the duo early in her journey to find her partner and had struck a bizarre friendship with the two. They were some of the only people she dared to say she trusted. Anytime she had gotten banged up in her quest Mal was willing to patch her up. Even if it did come at the cost of dealing with his dorky traveling companion hovering over her the entire time she visited. With her temper being shorter than normal she hoped for Amadi's sake that he would be smart enough to avoid contact with her this visit or he could expect a swipe across the nose to prove her point on needing space.
Tracking them down had been an easy enough job. The pair of rogues were the very opposite of subtle. It had taken less than a day of asking everyone she came across if they had seen two gray idiots trying to charm any females with loose morals for her to pin point exactly where they had gone.
Squinting Gan scanned dried river bed carefully looking for any signs of the two males. She had to say it was odd to find them not out and about. For once it seemed they had elected to take a break and hide themselves away.
Well, there was one easy way to fix that. Sucking in a deep breath she raised her voice to it's maximum volume, echoing her summons throughout the river bed. "MALPHAS! I need a word with you!"
