Even when the weather doesn't count for it, Dyhren is always wearing a long jacket with its fur collar. It was a personal gift from the Psychic Queen.

Bio:
Born in a cave up in the psychic mountains, Dyhren lived out his youth training for survival. There weren't many who could change as he could. It was frightening at first. For he had labeled himself a monster in human skin. Inherited by his father, Dyhren learned to control his changing body so the travelers passing by would not run in fear. Then again, it was the travelers he was most afraid of. Men and women alike would come to hunt. Hunt for sport and occasionally food. It was on a dreadful day that the hunters were looking for something more specific. Something closer to his heart. They were after his father. The only other shapeshifter Dyhren knew whose animalistic pelt was sturdier than the most expensive cloth and eyes most fierce in the land.
At the tender age of 6 was his mentor violently torn away from him. Soon after they found father, his mother was also killed in the process of taking back his father's remains. He was left alone to run and cower in the shadows. With no guardian to provide nourishment, Dyhren took on the animalistic instinct for survival. Continues to train in combat and in the wild. Learning to kill prey for their supper, to mask his scent from more humans, and to fight without the help of his other half. Stronger and stronger Dyhren stood against adversity. Unfortunately, his strength was still lacking for he was still rather young.
Once again, the hunters who took his parents came to finish the job. On one especially cold day, the hunters where searching. At this time, Dyhren was in his animal form, he was out an about searching for food. His hunger clouding his judgement, the male failed to realize the humans were already on his tail until it was too late. The chase started. Running through dirt and snow, his pelt did nothing to help him hide. The hunters chased and chased with relentless vigor. After about 3 hours, or what felt like 3 hours, Dyhren was able to escape the hunter but his strength began to waver. Still in his animalistic form, his limbs failed and he lay in the middle of nowhere. Hoping for the end to come soon. Just then, a light came to view. A light in the form of a woman. A woman of grace and pride. A woman of power. Her soft smile was the last thing he saw before falling into darkness. When he awoke in the morning, he found himself in a castle. The woman who saved him was none other than the Queen of the Psychic Kingdom. Her kindness confused Dyhren for she was a human like those who hurt his family in the first place. How could he trust her?
Soon after his awakening, the woman visited his resting chamber. She had come to offer him a place to call home. This caused major confusion. However, the queen wasn't like any ordinary human. Her sense of justice and fairness was much more than he expected of anyone. Her understanding of his silence was more than he could ask for. Dyhren took a chance on the queen. Days became weeks, and weeks became months. Soon, the male indeed began to call the castle home. He placed his trust his savior, and later formed a bond that was unbreakable. His loyalty grew with every passing day.
Personality:
Not much of a talker when you first meet him, Dyhren can be considered mysterious and secretive. For those who are a lot closer to the male, Dyhren is very opinionated during situations and would not hold back his tongue. He is also very brotherly like when it comes to those who are younger than himself. Since he had never has any siblings before, Dyhren take the opportunity to connect with those who think in a more optimistic view like those of children. Loyal and fair, Dyhren can also be a bit temperamental when it comes to things he absolutely dislikes. Protective of those he considers family, he is true to his panther like nature of waiting for the right moment before delivering the killing blow.

Although Dyhren was born in the area of the psychic kingdom, he does not have a strong connection with his psyche other than to protect himself and those around him. Which limited his psychic attack power but enhances his defensive power. In his animal form the connection to his inner power comes to life.
~ Guardian: In both human and animal form, Dyhren can used his psyche to form a protective wall in a chosen direction. Can create only 2 walls at a time, one for each hand. The length of the wall is limited to his immediate area.
~ Panther's Pride: Focusing on the energy in his throat, Dyhren's roar can cause a shockwave and send an opponent flying backwards. How far the person goes depends on the opponents strength and stature.
~ Anchoring: Because of his animalistic instincts, Dyhren is extremely hard to control. Mind or body. With his animal spirit half keeping an eye on his sense of security, Dyhren can literally anchor his soul to keep itself from being taken over or separated from his vessel.
