Odain stretched as she took a eveing stroll in the park. This up and down in the weather really needed to stop. Because she was tried of being cold, then it warming up for a few days. She was wearing her cloak tonight over her uniform since it was cold.
She had it drawn close as she looked around at the night time scenery of the park. There was a moment as she paused. She felt another knight? The page hesitated as she tried to get her bearings where the other knight might be located. She was hoping she wasn't wrong as she moved again, closer to the picnic and playground areas. Hopefully, she was right.Skye Starrfyre oop wrong letter for the rp type LOL

Mag Mell had been making his way slowly around the park, enjoying the simplicity in the solitude of the evening. As he sensed the aura of another player in the game of Good vs Evil he paused. It would be much easier for whoever it was to track him down if he stayed in one place-- Something he was only doing because the aura he sensed was on the Order side of things. He had paused near a bench just shy of the playground and it was there that sat, waiting to see if the person he could sense coming closer was going to find him or not.

It took Odain a bit before she could actually locate the aura. Okay she seriously needed practice. She hoped that they weren't so good, that the other could feel her weaving and bobbing around.
When she finally saw him close to the playground, the page trotted over towards the knight and smiled, "Oh hello~!"
It was nice to see a friendly face. Something that hadn't happened in a little while. She smiled looking him over and paused, "A-are you another cosmos knight?" She didn't want to throw a venture out too far, she'd seen a few, but wasn't completely sure.

"Good evening!" He smiled at the page's greeting, looking rather comfortable where he was seated at the moment with his arms draped over the back of the bench. He rolled his shoulders to stretch his arms before leaning forward so that he could offer a hand to her in greeting. "I am-- Mag Mell of Cosmos. Good to see I'm not the only one out and about tonight. The only person in general, at least, not the only representative of Cosmos... Although, if we're being honest, you're the first I've met."

Odain smiled as he greeted her and she took his hand and gave it a shake.
"Ah Odainsaker of Cosmos" She said with a smile, "Nice to meet you Mag Mell."
She paused, "Ah, I've met a few others before you. So we've got fellow knights out there!" She added with a smile, "I like your cape!" She added before looking at him curiously, "Have you ever been to your wonder? I still need to go mine. But I've been trying to figure out what they're like - I know they're not all the same, but still. . . ."

"Wonder? No, although enough others keep mentioning them that I'm starting to think I should pencil in the time to make the trip." The Cosmos knight flashed her a soft smirk as he tossed his cloak back over one shoulder. He'd always had a light flare for the dramatic. "I'm a little new to all of this-- Odd, I'm sure, for a Knight to say he's never been to his Wonder before. I've been trying to figure out what I'm like before I go exploring great new worlds and boldly going where others have tread in the past. With my luck, and knowing me? Mag Mell probably needs a coat of paint and a bit of work." His tone was light despite the serious words, as though he were trying to poke fun at them.

Odain gave a small chuckle, "I haven't been to mine either." She shrugged softly, "I need to though I suppose, see if I can fix this ring people keep talking about . . . "
She tilted her head when he said he was new to this. "I'm sure everyone's would probably need a coat of paint and some care." She said agreeing with him. There was a pause, "So, you said you were new to this, but you're a knight right, and not a page? Do you mind if I ask how long you've been at this?"
She was curious as she looked at him curiously.

"Most definitely a Knight." He flashed Odain a grin, brushing his fingers back through his hair. Lifting his arm knocked his cloak back, uncovering the two medals pinned to the chest of his uniform. "I've been a Knight of Cosmos for nearly a year now, but I was in the Negaverse before that-- Five years from Lieutenant to Captain." His hand dropped down to his side, fingers lightly grasping at the edges of his cloak to fiddle with the hem. He always took a risk in revealing the information to others. There was never any telling how someone would react, but Odain had asked and he wasn't going to lie to a potential ally. "What about you? How long have you been a player in this game?"

Odain smiled when he said most definitely a knight. She tilted her head at the medals he wore, they were interesting and as he spoke she seemed interested in learning.
"Oh?" She listened and tilted her head, "So why the switch? Do you like it better here?" This might not have been quite the reaction he'd been expecting. "I never met anyone who decided to change sides."
There was a pause as she thought and counted, "Honestly? It'll be like Two years in July." She admitted and then started laughing, "Oh gosh, I must be the worst since I haven't even leveled up once yet. I should maybe put a little more attention into this . . . "

"You're far from the worst, m'lady. Told you-- Five years playing for the other team and I only made it a rank higher. If you're only two years in you've still got time before you qualify as the worst." His grin remained warm and friendly even as she laughed. He had no intentions of being anything other than open and honest with her and wanted to answer each of her questions to the best of her abilities to do so. "My cover was blown. I made a few bad decisions-- more than a few, really-- and people were hurt, myself included. I was fortunate enough to be found by a senshi who recognized me when I powered down and she gave me a choice." His lips pressed together, seeming somber for a moment as he thought on her second question before answering. "I can't remember enough to say whether or not I like it better while powered, but I know that I am more proud of who I am as a person now than I was then. I feel better about myself-- more like myself. It's a strange thing to try to explain to other people, but..." Again he paused, head tilting skyward. "Imagine... Imagine that you wake up and you're in a dark room. You flip on a light switch and there's a small circle of light around you but everything else stays dark. Each day that circle of light gets smaller and smaller until you're second guessing everything. You start to wonder if you should turn the light off, or if it was even there to begin with." He snorted softly, shaking his head slowly as he looked to her once more. "Sounds crazy, doesn't it?"
