Woods that lead to the Light Kingdom, and you know your getting closer the more lanterns you see means your closer to the Light Kingdom. The Sun shines brilliantly through the trees and gives life to all the forest plants.

It hadn't taken Prince Noel long to get a horse saddled and be out there enjoying the sunshine till he reached the Day Break Woods. This was Noel's favorite place to go for a ride with his horse. The lush green showed the influence of the sun which shines down here always due to their Kingdom always being bright. Noel gently spurred his horse into a semi-gallop and it wasn't long before the lanterns around the path were getting less and less. Once they reached deep into the woods, the angel slowed down their pace and smiled as he enjoyed the serenity of the forest around them. He much preferred this than the castle.
After a while of walking on he halted his steed and got off and onto the ground, moving the reigns from the animals neck so he could lead him from the front as they moved on further. Noel led the horse over a smaller path that seemed to stray from the main path, one he frequented as he knew what lay beyond. It wasn't long before they emerged on the other side into a meadow with a small lake which was glittering in the sunlight. The prince walked to a tree near the lake and tied his horse to it, so they wouldn't run. Of course the angel could fly to find it, but that wasn't as easy when the horse would wander the forest below, where a lot of trees could cause him to miss it. He then turned and gently caressed the animal's nose.
"I know I will have to get back to the castle soon enough. I will still need to continue my studies they are so big on. But I am sure they won't miss me if I come a little late hm?" he said to the horse, his voice chiming slightly. The steed neighed and moved around a bit before it started to graze and Noel chuckled softly. Of course he didn't know if the animal understood anything he was saying, but a listening ear nonetheless. The young man turned to the saddle bags on his horse and took out some drinks and some snacks he had picked up before leaving. He then sat down near his horse and leaned back against the tree. He had hidden his wings and they would not hit anything or be hurt against the tree, but that didn't take away he could still feel them so Noel made sure to sit against the tree with the gap between his wings. Even if it was a phantom feeling.
However after a while the weather seemed to suddenly change and Noel sat up surprised by the sudden light shift. As he cast his icy blue eyes to the heavens above he could see that clouds had suddenly packed above their land and he sighed a bit. This was a very rare occurrence and he knew well what was the cause of it. The angel quickly untied his horse and went back to the castle just in case rain would follow. He was clothed for warm days, not rain.

The maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes that kept Alassandro slumbering in his chambers of his royal galley ceased, as the captain was unable to advance forward under his kings order to the light kingdom. The dear captain and his crew drop to their knees from the immensity of Alassandro's level of psionic power resonated and fester into the deepest parts of their psyche demanding answers. The captain grit his tit, and his gums bled, as his tongue slithered against them to form words saying "My dear Lordship, the ship cannot go any further in its physical realm for the sea has dwindled to a stream to small to support us". The door the covered the threshold of the king sleeping chamber creaked open for only a moment, but what they say left them with nightmares for a lifetime.
It was Alassandro using his ability Planar Shift to convert the entire ship to the ethereal plane. The vile drums beated and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes played once more, but the crew was disturbed the glory of the ethereal plane. A dimension of swirling mists and colorful fogs of ghost and monster that existed right next to you, and you don't even see it. A curse and a grace that the experience crew never grew to contemplate, just their king Alassandro Remy Dane, as they pressed for to the light kingdom. That through all the mist and clouds of the ethereal plane, was a beacon of light.
