We will be giving step by step instructions throughout the game, so if you don't understand something below feel free to PM the mule or wait for given instructions when the game starts. We know this game can be a bit confusing for first timers so don't hesitate to get in touch with the mule about anything. We welcome it. We also advise past players to refresh themselves on the rules and see some new ones we have added this year!

:[ How it Works ]:

• Starts on December 12th, 2016 at 7 PM CST
  
• Each person gets one ticket. Tickets may be requested before or at any time during the game.
  
• At the beginning of each round, we will randomize one name. That person can either have the next unrevealed Pae'il, or select one that has already been revealed previously.
  • The person chosen first will have the option to choose from any of the available pae after they've all been revealed.
• If the chosen player selects a previously revealed Pae'il, the other player can get the unrevealed Pae'il or steal a different Pae'il.
  • The same person cannot steal twice in one round. This means that if they are stolen from a second time in the same round, they must take the new Pae'il.
  • No back and forth stealing! Each person can only steal once during their turn, and they can't take back a Pae someone's stolen from them during that round.
• Once you win, your name is removed from the raffle list.
  
• We will not reveal the new Pae'il until a full 24hrs has passed since the last person rolled or was stolen from.
  • This means the person that was rolled has until 7PM the next day to chose to take the revealed Pae or to steal from someone else
  • At the same time, if the person decides to steal that means the one stolen from will have 24hrs to steal from someone else or take the revealed Pae. No matter what time it was that they posted. So, if they get stolen from at 9PM then they have till 9PM the next day to make their decision.
  • If 24hrs have passed and someone who got stolen from has not made a decision, they default to the new unrevealed Pae'il and the game moves on.
• Once the new Pae'il is chosen by someone, whether by choice or by default, we will be rolling the next Pae by 7PM or if it's outside this time slot, but within the person's 24hrs it'll happen immediately.
  
• A final list of players and which Pae they won will be provided at the end of the game. Because of the nature of this game, players will have 48 hours to claim and name their Pae'il after this list has been posted. If they do not complete this within that time period the Pae will be returned to the shop and regifted.

If this seems complicated, here's an example:

We draw Sally's name. But she really likes Pae'il2, so chooses to take that Pae'il, instead of the new one. Bob, who had won Pae'il2, has to give Pae'il2 to Sally, and can receive Pae'il4 instead or steal Pae'il3 from Judy! It continues on like this.

NOTE: We use to roll new Pae immediately after a round has finished. Due to some people's issues with this we have decided to default each round to 7PM CST. This means that the roll will happen at 7PM CST each day as long as all choices have been posted. In the event of a series of steals, then the last person to choose will have 24 hrs from the point they were stolen from to make their choice known. Even if that choice has been made we will wait out the 24hrs instead of rolling immediately.

Remember: This is a game, and done for fun. It is completely free. It's okay if friendly rivalries emerge (and encouraged!). We ask that everyone be a good sport about this game. Any poor sports will be removed from the game, and their prizes will be forfeited back to the shop, and they will be greylisted.
