We have a name for Episode VIII! What are your hopes/expectations for the newest Star Wars movie?
Personally, I expect a QUALITY montage of Luke training Rey, and perhaps some leads as to who Rey is. And I require every Star Wars movie to have a good ship battle scene. So far they haven't let me down.
They finished filming Leia's scenes for the movie before Fisher passed away, so Leia will be in the movie. But, there's still Episode IX left. Lucasfilm/Disney issued a statement saying that they will not be using CG to include Leia in any further movies, which means... Leia will have to die, too. I wasn't sure if Leia was going to be essential in any potential Kylo Ren redemption arc, but now I suppose he will have to be an orphan just like his parents. SO SAD. crying crying crying
But by golly, after the three most recent Star Wars movies (Rogue One, Force Awakens, and Revenge of the Sith) I don't trust the makers of these movies to not tear my heart out and stomp on everything I love. Steeling myself for more heartbreak. sweatdrop

 " I am one with the Force. The Force is with me."   I have absolutely no idea, not even a clue, as to what's in store for us.
But, I am so glad and super excited to hear the announcement for the new title.
At the moment, I'm simply feeding off the theories and ideas from fans on what this next movie's story is gonna take us towards.
These guys on reddit definitely know how to cast a hook and fetch out these crazy stories, which could most probably work into the plot, if accurate.
I want to learn more about Rey and Kylo Ren in this movie, and I know for a fact that they will give us a lot to explore on their characters.
The Knights of Ren, Finn and Poe Dameron.. I'll be on the lookout to see how the story fleshes out their characters.
I'll be heartbroken every time I see Carrie Fisher, our Beloved Princess Leia on screen, but it's gonna be worth the watch to see her final performance in Star Wars.
Mark Hamill will make up for it, as he's our good ol Luke to the rescue.. I was shocked and surprised to see him at the end of The Force Awakens.
His story along with Rey's is gonna be like that time when he and Master Yoda had met together and then the training in The Force begins.
That's gonna be nostalgic all over again.. totally looking forward to it.          " If only you knew The Power of the Dark Side."

I'm honestly not sure what to expect at all! And I also don't know what to think about the title yet. The Last Jedi? What may it refer to? Is Luke the last Jedi? Will Rey be the last Jedi after Luke dies (nooo)? Or are Luke AND Rey the last Jedi? So many possibilities. Edit : Oh I'm so dumb, I totally forgot to look up "The Last Jedi" in other languages. It's plural... Exciting! But these are my hopes: - Awesome space battles (TFA and Rogue One REALLY delivered, I expect no less of TLJ) - Jedi Finn? - Possibly grey Jedi Kylo? - Rey Kenobi! Edit 2: I just saw this product packaging that's supposed to be for Episode VIII merch. Unfortunately, the only difference to the Episode VII costumes are Rey's hairstyle and Finn's shirt. cry I got excited for a second because at first glance I thought Finn was wearing a Jedi robe under Poe's jacket.

You should see the vast number of spoilers that keep popping up every single day.
I caught wind of so many of them, my mind is on a high right now.
I saw that Force Friday Poster of the cast like two days ago.
And, although Finn and Poe almost look the same, it is Rey that's got this new look to her.
I like how her hair has been opened up from the back, that really looks good on her.
Just a couple of hours earlier, I was watching these old interviews of the cast,
and I noticed Daisy Ridley, noticeably sporting the same kind of hairdo as the one in the poster.
I bet, if not exactly as accurate as the one in this interview, it's more or less gonna look like that.

Okay, hold up, with both Fisher and Ford out of the picture they CANNOT POSSIBLY KILL LUKE TOO. Rey is not currently a Jedi, and Luke is the last surviving Jedi. I'm sure it's just referencing Luke. Right...? Right? And yes, Jedi is plural. Oh, those sneaky title-creator-people.
Star Wars is good about not letting us down with space battles, so that's a relief. Jedi Finn? We can't have EVERYONE be a Jedi. I admit it'd be cool, but I'm skeptical. It's important to have strong non-Jedi characters (see: Rogue One). I'm gonna stay away from any considerations of where Ren is going. I've lost too much already, I can't bear to think about it. Rey Kenobi!? As in, granddaughter? Who would the grandmother be? Siri? No, that's too convenient. She's clearly a Skywalker if she's so drawn to the lightsaber that both Anakin and Luke used.
