Mood: Average With: Nobody Thoughts: Time to get started on another day...
The doctor was woken up by the bright sun beaming through the window. He was laying on the couch. His hair was a bit messy, but that wasn't anything a shower couldn't fix. Kalei yawns and then smacks his lips. He gets up from the sofa in his office and opens the sliding door.
He performs his personal hygiene ritual in the men's restroom, then gets dressed. He starts drying his hair with a towel, then sets the damp cloth in a hand-woven basket by the doorway of the lavatory. He walks back toward his office and looks out the window. The birds were singing and the tropical trees were truly a sight to behold.
As desperately as he wanted to go outside and have a good time, he knew that he had a job to do. He stretches a bit and sits down at his desk. It was a bit messy with sheets of paper strewn about, but not many people got hurt on the island unless they didn't take his advice. Illness was hardly an issue due to the great weather, and the worst case he had to encounter was a heat stroke. Other than that, Everything is peachy! he thought.
His stomach growled. He chuckles, leaves his office, and finds his way down the hallway and into the mess hall. He grabs a breakfast sandwich that has eggs and cheese melted together onto two toasted bagels. Smells delicious... he thought before unwrapping it and taking the first bite. He continued to do so, and when he was finished, he properly disposed of the wrapper.
Back to the office. He really needed to take some time to clean up...That, or he needed a nurse.
