 The sound of music filled her mind as she wondered threw the snow covered side walk her hoofs clopping softly on the rocks below her feet. she was lost in her own mind a day dream filling her thoughts as she wandered around looking for something , anything to help inspire her next painting. She wasn't sure ware she was going or were she would end up, but she felt like a string was pulling at her heart leading her somewhere some place special. maybe that place would have a new beginning, a new story for her to tell threw her paintings. but soon she had found she lost her self in were her heart was leading her. she couldn't find or see anything that would inspire something from her. in a slump and a lost for words, she to was lost. she had never been this far from the dorm before. she sighed and pressed her back up against a tree trunk ." what was i thinking" she muttered as she batted her eyes trying to focus. but the cold and the distance took a toll on her. she had not brought anything to warm her self up, she held hope something would show her the way.

 Why, today of all days, did his bar and brewery run out of stupid napkins. Napkins of all things! There was obviously an oversight in the ordering of supplies, but that was a worry for another time. It was almost time to open for the afternoon and here Reed was, walking the cold sidewalks of the city when he should have been at the bar and preparing for the night ahead! "Oh well..." he muttered to himself. "At least I'm getting some fresh air..." and the hallowed shrugged his coat covered shoulders.
Now Reed didn't normally pay attention to the humming and hawing of others while he wasn't working the bar, but the sounds of someone's voice caught his attention.Looking around, the guy saw a baphomet -- so he assumed -- leaning against a tree. What would possess someone to just stand under a tree like that in this cold weather? Shaking his head, he almost walked on, but something about her pulled at him and so he decided close the distance and make sure she was okay.
"Hey... What's a pretty girl like you doing under a tree like this?" Now the thing about Reed was, that wasn't meant to be a pick up line, but working where he did, a certain type of lingo lingered with him. "Errr, sorry if that was awkward. Anyways. You alright? It's a bit cold to just be standing there like that, don'tcha think?" He shifted the bags in his hold, canting his head to the side as he awaited her reply.

She gazed up to the sky while he had his eyes on her from a far. her hand out stretched as the tree branches above her shook gently light snow powder drifting down over her lightly. her eyes softly gazing. Her stare in to the gorgeous void of the sky was broken as her gaze fell on to him, her eyes opened a bit wider as she bated her lashes gently at his words.Her mind caused her to internally panic. she was quite for a moment as the panic subsided for the time being her thoughts pulling her back down to earth as she heard him apologize. she moved from the tree trunk standing up strait as she had her hands neatly placed in front of her self one on top of another. she shook her head with a gentle motion and found her voice at last " No need to apologize. " she said reassuringly. as his words didn't bother her in the slightest. but truthfully made her more flustered than anything But she wouldn't admit to it as her face looked calm and relaxed." Yes. I'm Ok. I just. kinda wondered to far." she said as she blamed her artistic muses for leading her this far.

Reed had to admit to himself that even though he wasn't trying to hit on the woman, she was quite beautiful. And not to mention the fact that it was somewhat amusing watching her. Though she was calm on the outside, something told him he got to her on a level of sorts. Hopefully not in a bad way, anyways.
When she reassured him with that sweet voice of hers that danced in his lengthy ears, the normally straight faced hallowed cracked a slight smile. "I'm glad to not have weirded you out. Being a bar owner lends to some..." he bobbled his head to and fro for a moment or two "interesting language and a lack of censorship."
His ears twitched as she talked about having had wandered a bit further than she had meant to. "You can always come warm up at my bar. It's not the most glamorous of places, but there's a drink on the house waiting for you if you'd like." His offer wasn't out of the usual, but at the same time he didn't normally offer free drinks to every random stranger he happened upon. Giving a nod in the direction of where his business was, he took a step then turned to show he was waiting for her.

She listened to him quietly as her eyes were fixed on him. as he smiled her eyes opened a bit more her green tea colored eyes shimmering in the light of the day as he spoke to her. hearing him talk about how he acquired the way in which he spoke threw working in a bar she felt that it would be expected as he bobbled his head. her eyes fixated on his features. his long ears and short hair. her mind began to wonder,as she let a smile slip on to her face as she listened to him and gazed at his photo perfect features. There was something about him that made her muse sing not even him being mutated bothered her in the slightest. this only made him more intriguing. but there was something missing. Her concentration broke as her ears twitched beneath her hair and she came back in to focus " Oh. thank you i would like that." she said accepting his offer to join him in his bar. she fallowed as he turned and had motioned in the direction. she came closes but with a slight distance between them as she was ready to fallow him back.

When the lovely young baphomet said that she'd like to spend time at the bar and began to follow along, Reed nodded again and smiled as he clopped his way back toward the bar. "It's not far from here. Just another block and then it's out of the cold for the both of us." He figured the way she stayed back as they walked was just her being shy.
It wasn't long before they were at the double doors of the bar. It was an old-timey place, complete with spittoons -- those purely for decoration's sake -- and a stage hosting a piano. "Like I said," as he stepped through the doors, holding one open for her to step through. "but it's home and it's a quiet night tonight."
Even though he was a business man, he was grateful for the once in a while quiet times. "Make yourself comfortable. As long as you don't plan to make me go under by eating and drinking everything, whatever you want is on the house." he said, reaffirming what he offered earlier. Leaning in, he whispered "Just don't tell anyone else." and gave a wink with a smile.

Elanor began to closes the distance a bit as they walked together down the path. she occasionally gazed at her surroundings curiously and amazed by the beauty. she how ever fixed her gaze on him while he wasn't looking her cheeks a bit flushed as she listened to him speak. but her flustered cheeks faded as she realized she had been starring a bit to much. She looked up passed his shoulder as she saw the bar up ahead, she slowed her pace and stared at it in awe. it was picture perfect, something she would not mind sketching . she tapped her small bag with her hand gently it was latched on to her belt by belt loops. she was pondering drawing now that she found something interesting to draw. more so someone. as she gazed at him when he opened the doors for her. she smiled softly and headed in past him waiting at the door. she stared entranced with the piano and bar that now were within sights. she walked slowly towards the piano . a tune she loved beginning to play in her head she turned to face him as she smiled and laughed a bit" Don't worry I don't think i could eat that much, but may i have something to drink please? any thing to warm me up ." she said as she was visibly blushing when he had winked at her with that handsome smile. she then found a place to sit. though her eyes still fixated on the piano.

If there was something that Reed noticed right away, it was that the woman's attentions was drawn to the piano. Not that he could blame her. Piano music was one of his favorite sounds.
The hallowed smiled and nodded. "I know just the thing to warm you up, miss?..." he added, inquiring as to what her name was. "I'm Reed, by the way." He waited for her response before making his way behind the bar counter, setting the bags down then working on whipping something together while talking to one of his workers that was back there with him. A pour here, a dip and stir there, then voila! "M'lady." he said, motioning for her to take a seat at the bar as he set down the cup. "Some hot cocoa for you because alcohol just tricks you into thinking you are warm." Reed added with a smile.
The hallowed ducked under the panel door in the counter, coming back on the other side. "Since it's quiet, I may brighten things up with a little music. Hope you don't mind." And he went, taking a seat on the piano bench. His fingers brushed over a few keys as he tried to decide what to play. Settling on a song in his head, the tips of his fingers stroked the black and white keys, humming softly along to the tune he was playing.

She broke her gaze with the piano broke as she began to make her way up to the bar he was at " my name is Elanor.but you can call me Ela. It's nice to meet you " she said softly as she took the coco in hand and smelled its aroma before taking a sip, she looked up to him as he sat down at the piano. she sipped her coco slowly and fallowed behind him. here eyes fluttered and her cheeks turned red as he began to play the piano. Her muses began to sing happily filling her mind with inspiration and happy thoughts. she finished her coco and set it down on the counter as she went up and sat down at the piano with him. without hesitation. she listened and closed her eyes, a soft sigh escaping her as her heart felt content, here and now beside him. she looked to him and watched his face as he played. speechless and blissful in her Peaceful thoughts about him.

Reed sighed an inward sigh of relief when she seemed contented with his choice of drink for her, smiling toward her as she joined him on the piano bench. He was happy to see his beautiful stranger so at peace as she sat beside him. It was then that he knew he'd like to know her more than just for one night at his bar, but if that was meant to be was up to her later. He hummed a few more little notes before his fingers finished off the song he was playing, notes trickling down like a soft rain ending.
"I'm glad to have been able to meet you, Ela. Hopefully we can share more time together then just tonight" he said softly, resisting the urge to lean in and kiss her by turning his attentions back to the piano.
His fingers began to tickle the ivories once again, and he continued to smile as he kept the music peaceful and lovely for Ela's enjoyment as well as his own. Reed began to sing softly as his song continued, sitting there and losing track of time for the night as people came and went while they enjoyed each other's company.
