He had been abnormally quiet. Especially distant. He explained to his mother, on a usual basis his dreams and visions, which seemed one in the same. Now, he was stumped. His visions realized, the girl of the markings was going to be the leader of the Kizi... a place he had harbored much hatred towards. The news had distressed him, and he sat at the beach upon a dune. being near her, his head throbbed but once he bumped in to her, his headached subsided. When usually he would have an attack of visions, she quieted them with just a touch. A bump no less accidental, less destined than their meeting.
He hated large crowds, anyone touching him could cause a vision to break through, and when there were many- it seemed crippling. Now he stared out to the ocean for answers. His heart in a mixed place, and his mind jumbled. She, Starfire had been completely nothing like the monsters he had imagined them to be. Of course, he had not once attended any Mummer Ball, he refused it. They stole his siblings, but that was years ago- his sister and brothers had accepted it, and moved on. Harmonia even became more than comfortable with visiting the neighbors quite often. Was he the only one who had these feelings?
Israfel had since took the time to separate from the celebrations to find her son. Having been more than careful with him, especially in the crowds but it seemed he had taken with a lioness, finally speaking to someone rather than hiding from the community in fear of touch.
"Son." She stated, finally finding him, in his usual spot of course.
"Did you have fun, I have gotten many compliments, and woo-ing of my children's fans. Then I went to congratulate my beloved son, but I had lost you from sight."
Kei didn't respond except for simply watching the birds hover over the ocean waves.
His mother grew closer and finally laid down. "Did the crowd overwhelm you...?"
He looked to his mother, wondering if she could possibly understand his mixed heart and mind. She shared his worries to some degree, but struggled to understand his visions.
"I met her today."
"Who?"
"The one in my visions."
"The one since you were a cub?!" She gasped a little in surprise. "Well?" She asked with excitement coming out of her.
"She is being groomed, to be the leader of the Kizi."
"Oh! That is wonderful~ outer-pridal. Your visions can go so far? Isn't it wonderful, bridging the gap!"
"Mother."
Her ears went flat as she put a paw upon his. "I know you had worries of them, but the cubnapping took place long ago. We have all moved on from that, we are neighbors now. The Mummers Ball, and even your sister goes to visit sometimes." Gripping his paw. "Don't you think you let your visions take control of how you live your life, long enough?"
