 Excited as she bounced in through their new apartment door, Hailey bounced onto her hubby to be's lap, throwing her arms about him. "Can you believe we have our own place together at last?!" Not that the girl gave the fella a chance to answer as her lips crushed against his in a kiss. She gave a quite happy moan before pulling back, smiling like she never smiled before! "I feel so happy right now. Like... I'm on cloud nine. Even more than I've been before. We have an awesome little apartment!" Little being the key word, with one and a half bedrooms, a squished living room and kitchen, and a micro sized bathroom. "We go to awesome schools." She was in love with her classes and the campus. She truly couldn't be happier. Well, Almost couldn't be happier.
Her mood calmed some and she leaned in against her man. "Hey Malachi?" she started, chewing on her lip as pondered her next words carefully. "Hey Khai? I was wondering something..."

 Malachi had been relaxing with one of his new class books when he got pounced by his girl, laughing before his lips were smashed against hers. He happily lost himself in their kiss, however brief it turned out to be. His head was spinning as her lips pulled from his own, but he let out a small laugh.She always managed to make him feel right up there on cloud nine with her when she was like this. But as her mood calmed, he gave a curious look to her. "What's going on, baby? Is everything okay?" The fallen tightened his wings against his back. He felt a good bit nervous about what was on her mind.

The way that Malachi responded to her double questioning of his name made her realize that she had probably worried the poor guy. "Oh gosh! Sorry Khai! I didn't mean to freak you out if i did!" She had leaned back, waving her hands in a small panic. "I promise you! It's nothing bad! I was just wondering something! Well... More like wanting something. Something that I've wanted for a long time now." Oh boy... how was she going to tell him what was on her mind? This was beginning to make her head spin some. Turns out this ws harder than she ever could have thought!

And then the tripping over her words came. Malachi couldn't help chuckling as he found great relief in knowing that at least nothing was wrong. Usually, when Hailey acted like this, that meant trouble for one or both of them. Maybe even more people added in there. His lady love had a knack for trouble even when she didn't mean for anything to happen. "Are you sure it's nothing bad?" he teased. "With you, there's always something going on that's trouble, my mischievous miss." Malachi canted his head to the side, eyes pouring over the look on her face as he teased while trying to gauge the situation at hand.

The way that Malachi teased her made Hailey puff her cheeks up at him. Something she often did when he poked fun or even chided her at times. "You can be such a meanie poo pants some times, you know that?" she huffed at him as she withdrew her affections by crossing her arms over her chest. Not that this would last long. She loved clinging to him and holding close... even if he was a bit of a turd at times. "If you're going to be a poo, maybe I won't talk to you about what was on my mind!"

As Hailey's defenses rose before him, Malachi couldn't help be be amused still. "You're so cute when you're angry at my, baby." he teased, trying really hard to bring her back around to the happy, bouncy thing that she is when she's not shutting him out, or at least trying to. She was terrible at that! "C'mon bug..." he said softly, leaning in to try and snitch a kiss, but getting denied as her head turned. Oh well. He still managed to get a cheek kiss. "I promise I'll be a good boy and you can tell me what's on your mind. Cross my heart." he said as his finger drew an 'X' over his chest.

Oh darn it! She hated and loved when he used pet names against her when she had decided she was going to hold out on him one way or another. To most, 'bug' might not sound like the sweetest of doting nicknames, but she did really love when he called her that. With that, her defenses crumbled and she was back to her excitable self. Bouncing in his lap and wrapping her arms about him once more, she dropped the bomb. "I want us to have babies! Precious, purple babies." Her cheeks felt like they could split as she smiled so very widely and her hands grabbed to his shirt. "Can't you just see the cuties running around?!"

Victory! Malachi had won this little bout between them. He enjoyed the little victories because she won the bigger ones more often than not. But he was okay with that. She never pushed him more than what they could handle together anyways. He smiled as she blossomed into the excitable creature he knew her to be, but when she blurted out what she wanted, Malachi felt as if he couldn't breathe for a couple moments. "B-babies? You want to bring babies into this itty bitty little apartment of ours, and right when we're starting our classes at uni? You're messin' with me, right, bug?" But deep down, he had a feeling she was serious as a heart attack.

If there was one thing that could put her on cloud nine, and send her crashing back down to earth at the same time, it was her man. The response from him made tears well up in her eyes instantly. "Malachi..." She meant serious business when she called him by his full name like that. "You know how much I've wanted babies with you." her little fingers let go of their hold on his shirt, quickly swiping away at the tears stinging her eyes. "I know our place is small, but we can move into a bigger place. You know there's bigger apartments here. You know your mom will watch the babies when we're at school. She's been bugging you about granbabies longer than I have been thinking about them. And... And that bonding between us? I can't imagine anything more beautiful. Our own little purple babies..."

It didn't take long for Malachi to feel like a total heel when she began to tear up. The reason being? He knew these were genuine tears and not just those crocobee tears that she loved to give him when trying to win. He had to admit to himself, even if he was almost certain they wouldn't have purple babies, that a little Hailey running around would be so cute. "How is it..." he started, his arms wrapping around and pulling her close once more "that you always seem to know just what to say? Though I don't think they'll be purple, no matter how much you want them to be." he added with a laugh. "Okay baby bug... you win. Plus it would be nice to get my mom off my back about when she's gonna get her grandkids." he said with a laugh before leaning in and kissing her softly. "I love you, Hailey. I hope you know that."

Hailey smiled and cried as Malachi agreed to having babies. Flowing tears that ran down her cheeks. "Really, Khai? Honest and truly?" Oh she was so happy! And as he held her close, kissing her softly, Hailey's eyes closed and her arms wrapped around him once more. As their kiss came to an end, and he said that he loved her, Hailey put her forehead to his. "And I love you, more than I could say. Thank you for being the most wonderful thing in my life. I'd be lost without you." She meant every word, though of course she couldn't help teasing a little bit. "Though that's until our purple babies get here. Hope you're still ready to play second fiddle." and she laughed once more before kissing him again.
