Welcome to the Central Island that floats above the world! This island floats in the center of all the other islands and is home to many dragons and their kin. An extremely dangerous place, most who venture here are sentenced to death. Before you begin, I have a couple reminders: Everyone in the party is allowed to post for roleplaying purposes; however, only the party leader may roll the dice. Do not roll again until a Crew Member has confirmed and told you with the outcome of your roll. We will Quote you here. Once the encounter is over, you may roll again. After the six hour mark, your party will either be forced to return to the kingdom, or you may set up camp and possibly spark an enemy encounter. The longer you stay in the Central Island, the greater the risk but also the reward. If you think you may have a hard time with the next roll or wish to turn back, you may do so at any time. Thank you so much time, and we wish you the best of luck!

~Rowan~ "There used to be a point to everything, but since that day I can't seem to find myself caring about anything anymore. It's not because I don't want to, but because it's best if I don't." ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄
It was a brand new day, and Rowan was feeling rather disgruntled after the events of yesterday. While he was thoroughly rested, he could not help but feel a bit irritated at having to stay up to listen to that guy's ridiculous story about how he was called the "light bringer" or some crap like that. Not only did it sound a little farfetched, but he sounded like he was trying to be some messiah or something like that. It was completely absurd, and so was his repeated nonsense about dragons from other worlds and such. Rowan thought to himself, a bit frustrated at having to deal with such a person. He was simply glad that he and Blake were able to get away from the man and continue their journey. After all, he wanted no part of journeying with the man to Yuki-no-Okoku, and he did not want to continue to listen to whatever ridiculous stories the man wanted to make up. As such, the two of them had pointed out where he needed to go to reach one of the cities, going their separate ways. Before the man had even left their line of sight, Rowan had picked Blake up and teleported away.
Getting to the Sky Platform was rather difficult, having to teleport many times in order to reach it. Luckily, Rowan's greaves were able to get him and Blake from the ground all the way up to the island that rested in the center of the area. The reason Rowan had picked it was because it seemed like the most likely place for dragon-like creatures. Prideful creatures like dragons would undoubtedly inhabit the largest area. That's just a fact. That why, if there are dragon-kin, they would be living in this general area. Rowan thought to himself, now walking through the forest with Blake. "Blake, I'm not upset with you about what happened yesterday, but I'm not pleased at all by it. You let some crazy man into our camp without even taking into account that he could have tried to kill us." Rowan stated, obviously not happy with the way things had turned out. If it was up to Rowan, the man would have left that Kazuki guy to freeze in the wilderness. Maybe he would have survived, but the two of them would not have had to fight a dragon. That was for sure.
After walking quite a ways, Rowan came across a scroll of parchment that was trapped underneath a rock not too far away from a humanoid skeleton. The sight of it might have unnerved most people, but he and Blake were pretty used to dead bodies at this point. As such, Rowan was rather unaffected by the sudden discovery of a corpse, although he could not tell how Blake was feeling about it. Carefully, he moved over to the piece of parchment and picked it up, reading it carefully. "Focus your mind and form a third eye within yourself. By doing so, you will open the gates to any possibility." Rowan read, looking at paragraphs that were hastily scrawled across the parchment. There were also pieces of diagrams drawn on the parchment to display how to focus the mind or something like that. Reading through it, Rowan began to understand what it was saying more and more, eventually coming to a conclusion that he could definitely use the technique it was describing should he need to. Upon figuring out how the technique worked, however, the scroll lit up and glowed, bestowing him with an ability, as if it merely needed to be understood to be activated.
Once the light dissipated, the scroll was nothing but ash in Rowan's hands, and the man was staring forward with a rather strange look in his eyes. Suddenly, he turned towards Blake and spoke. "There's about thirteen animals around us right now. Five of them are small, two large bird-like creatures, and six of them are snake-like." He stated to her, trying to figure out just what the scroll had done to him. Upon stating what was on his mind, however, he simply held up his hands and spoke again. "I... can feel the things around me that I can't see. And... there's all sorts of thoughts pulling me in different directions. It's like I can see more than I actually can..." Rowan stated, unsure of what was going on anymore.

All I am is a weapon, and that was all I was trained to be, since the beginning." Z.O.M.B.I.E.

≎ 𝕭lake 𝕿rinity ≎ Ⓜⓐⓖⓔ Blake had spent that morning writing up a map for the young man they'd met the night before. She only vaguely remembered fighting alongside him and her Knight against two dragons. This would lead him to the closest village in Yuki no Okoku. At least this way, he knew where he as going and would have a better chance in the mountains. At least he seemed to be combat proficient; well, that seemed to be the case. If anything, that ability he possessed to slow things down would definitely come in handy for fights or for avoiding them. It wasn't as though the guy was totally helpless. Luckily, Blake had much better handwriting than some scribbles of ancient scrip, so the map would be easy enough to read and follow. She looked back up at the sky, remembering the explosion of light that he said transported him. Was that the truth or perhaps a lie he'd made after seeing the same thing? Either way, everyone was alive in the morning, and that was well enough for Blake. Before parting ways, the young woman wished the dark-haired man luck. It was unfortunate that they had to leave him to his own devices. Sure, he spoke about rather...odd instances, but Blake would've been more comfortable if they'd brought him back to town themselves. Rowan would've probably been wholly against it, however. While she thought of how her Knight would react to something that'd possibly delay them further from their goals, he grabbed her and they were somewhere else. As far as she could tell, they weren't very far from the camp, but the stranger was nowhere in sight. Welp, it was definitely weird. She'd blinked a couple of times in attempts to get her bearings. It was...disorienting. At least he was capable of teleporting her alongside him. She could imagine the small fall if that weren't the case along with the bigger one in an attempt to reach the floating land above them.
If Blake thought one time of teleporting was disorienting, the travel to the Sky Platform was not something with which she'd fair well. By the time they'd made it up, she was dizzy, and her legs were still shaking. The woman wasn't one to be afraid of heights, but leaving the land and entering a free-fall in a flash wasn't quite her cup of tea. Mmm, I could really go for a cup or two of tea right now. Really hope that guy's alright. I feel kinda bad just leaving him to his own devices like that. At this point, her and Rowan were beginning to head through the forests of these flying islands. This place was irrevocably huge. Where would they even start? Which way was right? There wasn't much for trails in this place, so what exactly was she supposed to follow to ensure their safety if not success? The blonde was brooding on this for only a moment or two before Rowan said her name, shaking her from her thoughts. They handn't spoken a ton that morning. She'd mentioned a couple things about teleporting turning into the bane of her existence. Whether it was simply Rowan or her along with them, the young woman was sure her death would be from a heart attack caused by those grieves. It made sense enough that he wouldn't have been happy with her choices last night, though. After everything they'd been through outside kingdom walls, even she was afraid to trust the guy in the first place. Blake, however, wasn't the type of person to let a man freeze to death in the wild. "It's not like the thought didn't cross my mind. Honestly, and I feel really bad for saying this out loud, but I almost didn't. We haven't really had the best luck out here; I get that. If something had happened to him though, something I could've prevented, I don't think I'd be able to forgive myself. The possibility of him being dangerous crossed my mind, but the dragons were definitely unexpected. Sorry it ended up being troublesome, though. If it weren't for you, I would've been flayed, so thanks, Rowan."
It was some time after when the two came across something rather interesting: a scroll and a skeleton. While Rowan focused more on the scroll of paper, Blake stared at the remains. Although sad, it was somewhat nice. At least this body was being left in peace. They'd come by torn up corpses ravaged by other corpses that had somehow been toyed with to be turned into zombies. There were lost souls trapped in a mausoleum, in an abandoned house. Ghouls were wandering the mountains to some effect, and chunks of flesh had been grafted together to create those golems. This was the first time they'd come by a regular, run-of-the-mill corpse: no undead magic, no trapped soul... I'm sorry. It'd be my pleasure to provide you with a proper burial, but we don't quite have the time. Please, though, enjoy your rest. She smiled for at the thing for a second before turning back to Rowan who'd read off the scroll close by. Although Blake had caught the gist of what he'd said, the woman was about to ask him to clarify. A bright glow from the parchment, however, interrupted her.
"Rowan...? Are you alright?" Agh, what kind of Mage am I? I should've checked the thing for mana! Reading things like that could be so dangerous! If it hadn't had incinerated itself, perhaps I could've... Blake remembered her father telling her about a book that actually stole the face of its reader! The Knight seemed fine for the most part, at least, face and all. He seemed to be completely fine when he finally looked back toward her, revealing what the scroll had actually caused or at least... for the most part. The elf had begun looking around for whatever animals Rowan was describing, but the mention of snakes caused a tremor to run up her spine. "Y-you're too cruel! Couldn't you have classified them under small or anything else?" she asked before the man continued, describing a sensation that sounded very similar to one of her mother's own forms of magic. "That... sounds like some form of clairvoyance, and an interesting one at that. Like a sort of...situational omniscience..." Her gaze moved to what was left of the parchment. Basic surrounding living beings and more? What did he mean by pulling thoughts? "Not that I can confirm anything without having a look at that scroll, but that's definitely what it sounds like." An effect like that without a casting... what was its range? Did it have a time limit or would this have a permanent effect on the Rowan. She looked into his eyes, her expression somewhere between curiosity and concern. "Is it too distracting? I think we should keep moving, but it won't do us any good if some faulty enchantment scrambled something in your head." Clairvoyance had its ups and downs. It's effectiveness was difficult to be rivaled, but some forms ended up hindering senses while enhancing others. Great for if you're scrying to spy on someone, but stuff like that left people open.
It was fine if he needed a moment to get used to whatever happened to him, but it was probably a good idea to keep an eye out for any weirder side effects. For now, if he was okay with moving on, then they would. It would not be all too much longer before something happened, before dragons happened. The creatures began circling the two from the air, a pair of them with orange scales. Blake hadn't seen that color up until this point. If they were anything like red dragons, then their attacks would be fire-oriented. At little nervous, she looked back at Rowan. "You feeling up for dragons this morning?" With whatever that scroll had in it affecting him, would he be okay to fight? Blake wasn't quite sure if she could take on one adult unless it gave her a clear-cut opening. All the same, she pulled her bow off her shoulders. The action reminded her of how painful her upper arms were from last night. If these things were to be a problem, there was always the option of an expeditious retreat.

Rowan was not sure how he felt, but it was definitely not going to be something that was going to keep him from continuing forward. As such, he refrained from answering Blake's question and simply responded to what she had said about helping the man from yesterday. "You should be thanking me. After all, you pretty much should be dead right now, and all that was for some random guy you've never met before. If I had not been there, you would be dead right now because you take it upon yourself to be helpful to every single little thing that you've ever come across in your life. At times, I think you'd carry a flower to the top of a mountain in a blizzard with dragons circling it if it meant the flower would bloom again. That's how ridiculous your hero-complex is, Blake. And it's frustrating and tiring, especially for people like me that know how that ends up. Yet you won't even listen to them. You just do your own thing and let guild eat away at your soul until you finally give in to it. That's what's frustrating." Rowan stated, getting a lot of the negative feelings he had been holding in off of his chest.
Having to get out of the campsite fairly quickly, the young man did not get the chance to go on a small rant or anything of the like. As a result, Blake had not heard how much he was dissatisfied with yesterday until this particular moment. "My job is to protect you, and yours is to make sure you stay out of dangerous situations. Your job is not to throw yourself into every single dangerous situation you see and hope I'm there to keep you from dying! That is not what our pact is about. So, if you would, stop making my job harder than it already is by running around throwing your life in harm's way every single chance that you get." Rowan complained to her rather angrily, obviously upset with how things were starting to go. Originally, he was supposed to travel to this place alone and fight the woman without any help, to settle things. Now, however, he was dragging Blake along with him and protecting her from every little thing that might cause her harm. While that was bothersome in its own right, he understood that she needed closure as well. What he could not stand, however, was the fact that she was so willing to risk her life for ever single person.
While Rowan seemed to be ready to complain to her quite a bit more, he was interrupted by the arrival of two orange dragons, exotic creatures he had never seen before. The sight of them, however, was infuriating, causing Gram to compel him to want to slay them. These two dragons quickly sense Gram, doubting whether they should attack the two of them or not. Before they could make their decision, however, Rowan had grabbed his blade with Gram and turned it into Balmung, slashing at one of them and cleaving its head off in one, simultaneous, dimension-warping, double-attack. Lava seemed to gush from its neck, the creature had been getting ready to breathe lava at the two of them or something of the sort. The other one realized what its fate was, and it was quick to try and run away from the two of them. Before it could move too far, however, Rowan appearing in front of it and stabbed it through the jaw, the blade piercing upwards into its head. Rowan then reappeared near Blake, the dragon falling not too far away from the two of them as he looked over towards her.
"I knew that I'd have to fight a bunch of dragons today, so it really wasn't all that inspiring to have to fight any more of them yesterday." He stated, obviously not happy about dealing with dragons so early in their little trip. "This is going to be a rule, especially in a place like this where our enemy might be hiding. We trust no one from here on out. Anyone we see is an enemy, and we do not help anyone. Who knows what we'll run into up here, and who knows what they might do if we fall into one of their traps." Rowan explained, reasoning with Blake in an attempt to keep her from doing something ridiculous that could get her killed. "Regardless of how guilty you'll feel, helping people is too much of a risk right now, especially on this island. Your basically asking someone to take advantage of your kindness." He stated to her, discontent with her actions as of late.

≎ 𝕭lake 𝕿rinity ≎ Ⓜⓐⓖⓔ He's right... I would totally save that flower, Blake thought to herself when Rowan brought up the example. When she'd thought it, the statement was full of confidence and pride, but it really was ridiculous. I would so help that flower... Why? You can't handle dragons, and it's not like you could just a scale a mounta- Well, maybe...but still...After everything, that's still my first reaction? It's different when it comes to humanoids, isn't it? What if I had died last night? What would that cause? I'm confident in Rowan's skills, but do you really think he could go up against that she-witch without a mana supply? What would he do if you're dumb enough to get yourself killed... and over some gibberish-speaking stranger at that? But what if something had happened to him? It'd be all my fault due to being selfish. I can't bear that... At the time, she hadn't really known what to say, however, simply glancing to the side. On the one hand, he was speaking from experience, experience that she, herself witnessed through her mother's spell. It wasn't as if she didn't remember all that. That was the one thing she wish she could forget. Had she really just expected to change over night, though? There had to be some situations that called for action when one could afford it.
"Am I really such a burdening Mage, though?" the woman asked under her breath while her Knight took on these oddly colored dragons. When what seemed to be lava began pour from the neck of one the things, it broke Blake's concentration. Could lava even be considered a breath weapon?! What exactly was this place? Thanks to the map they'd found in that dungeon, she'd expected dragons, but this was a little much! Did these dragons just match the land as they normally do, or did this strange variant mean they were getting closer to their goal? Rowan took down the second one, killing both rather easily...before teleporting next to her, nearly making the poor thing jump out of her skin. She was mid-recovery and about to mention something about freaking her out and her life being in more danger around him because of it...when the dragon crashed down nearby, startling her again. "S-sorry," Blake murmured regarding the dragons. That was when he mentioned the "rule," one of which Blake didn't quite know how to respond to.
It made sense. It made perfect sense, and there wasn't much the girl could think to say to combat what he'd said. Why was she still trying to fight this? Blake, for the most part, knew better, so...what was the point? After all they'd been through... the entire point of this trip was gain closure, but would she be able to do so still stuck this way? It wasn't as if she could just change overnight. She sighed and looked up at Rowan. No, the consequences were right there in front of her. Idealism... There was a time and place for everything, and here and now was not the time or the place to use any of their energy one anyone else. They had a goal here, and as far as Blake was concerned, they were close to it. No other matter was of any importance. "Yeah, Rowan, alright. That's fair. I'll grit my teeth for this. I, uh...sorry for being so pushy about it last night." Her attention switched over to the dragon. "It's not like we have the gear to hold much from skinning them, so we should probably just get moving, huh?"
So, Blake head out in the direction they'd been heading before being stopped by dragons as she tried to figure out what exactly still had her attached to helping others no matter the cost. She'd almost missed some strange structure in her peripheral made out of stone. It looked man-made. "Hey, let's check this out..." There was a decent amount of foliage and debris to get past to make it the altar. The place looked absolutely destroyed, but there seemed to be a scrap of paper underneath a rather large piece of the rubble. The half-elf was able to lift it with some effort, and the scrap revealed to be a somewhat-squashed spell scroll. It was still legible and... Her eyes skimmed over the thing. "This is...a decently effective necromancy spell. I could use this," at this point, the woman was mostly mumbling to herself, nerding out over magic. "It may take a couple read-throughs, though..."

≎ 𝕭lake 𝕿rinity ≎ Ⓜⓐⓖⓔ "Speaking of scrolls..." she murmured, tucking the new one away, "are you still feeling the effects of the other one?" If they lasted more than a day, then they were probably permanent. Not very many spells last too much longer than that, unless they were high-powered. With how detailed and immediate Rowan's sudden clairvoyance was, that may have been the case anyway. Blake wondered how long it'd take her to learn this spell. She'd gotten the gist of it through her skimming, calling on the remains of the dead to create traps of all sorts. It was definitely interesting, something she could not only learn but may even be willing to use. There was definitely room to get creative with it, but at the very least, it may even prove to be helpful for Rowan, as well. They weren't too far from being able to make camp, maybe a few more hours of travelling before it was time. That'd be the ideal time to focus on something like learning an entire new spell. "It doesn't look like there's much more here, so why don't we keep moving?" Blake suggested with a shrug before going on. She'd hoped that with a landmark like this, there'd be a trail coming off of it, something to follow rather than heading in a random direction. Nope... Ah well, for now, she supposed this was fine.
How did I even get to bed last night? I can hardly remember anything past the dragon... I remember that guy had been spouting some weird gibberish about other worlds. Rowan hadn't been happy about the situation at all, but he was still willing to help her out after nearly exhausting her mana. She brought her hand over her face for a moment before letting it fall back to her side, recalling how he'd pulled her up and carried the half-elf back over to the fire. What happened after that, though...it was kind of blurry. I still can't believe I actually told him, that. It's not like he'd asked anything that I could've dodged around, though, and his response was fair...H-he didn't immediately shut me down, but- but- Agh! It was still embarrassing, though! Blake could feel heat coming to her face. She had to think about something else, anything else. The woman internally groaned. What would he even say to her once this was over?! It's not like there'd be anything immediately after, of course not! That'd be way too drastic! Geez, I feel like I'm forcing him to consider something he might not've even considered if I hadn't said anything at the pavillion! Who is this less fair to...? Blake sighed before glancing over at the Knight, tilting her head back before looking forward again. Something so trivial probably shouldn't be at the forefront of my mind in this place...
Luckily for the blonde, a happy distraction showed up. It seemed to be a strange sort of temple, the entrance looking like a dragon's maw. She couldn't help but to blink at the thing for a moment. The further along they traveled in this place, the more Blake believed that they truly were on the right path. "This looks promising," she murmured, pointing at the stone structure. Wanting to get a closer, the woman began walking up to the opening before someone came out. It was a man who didn't look too much older than the two of them, he was humanoid but most certainly not human. Portions of him were covered in scales, he had a tail, and beneath his armgaurds were two claw-like hands. More than anything, he looked as if he were the same race as the very woman the two of them were looking for. As he caught sight of them, the man reached for the blade weapon sheathed at his belt. Blake eyes widened.
"What the hell are y-" The sound of screeching metal broke his question, a series of metal bars quickly rose up around him before the top was sealed with steel. Four thin spikes shot up from the ground on each side of the small prison, pointed at the man's throat.
"Not a word..." Blake murmured with a glare. He seemed to comply, though most certainly wasn't happy about it. That was fine. She didn't want to have to kill people unnecessarily, but this place...it could lead them in the right direction. It's not like dragon-kin were a common race, and in such a place as this... Could there be more of them inside? "Rowan, I think we should head in." She pulled her bow off her shoulders before slowly heading inside, attempting not to make much noise. If they were ready to attack people just for being nearby, anyone inside would not take anymore kindly to intruders.

Blake was definitely right in regards to the dragons. The two of them did not have the polar bear with them, so it was very unlikely that they could skin the creatures and still manage to walk around all that well. It was difficult enough with all of the weapons the two of them had. Adding dragon materials to the list of items they were carrying would simply burden them twice as much. "Yeah, we should leave that stuff there. Besides, it's not like we're going to be needing money for a long time. With all the dragon materials we got back in the forest, the two of us aren't going to be living a poor life anymore. We're pretty much rich." Rowan stated, shrugging a bit as he put away his sword and looked over towards Blake. "And if we're rich... then I'm not sure what we're supposed to do after this. Having a regular job and living in an apartment seems a bit... unlikely. That kind of life probably isn't something we can return to." Rowan stated, not sure if the two of them could live such a... normal life. Their pockets were practically lined with gold and they had numerous powerful items.
The two of them seemed to be moving forward through the forest again, eventually coming upon an altar that seemed to stand out from the rest of the area. Its sudden appearance caused Rowan to simply stare in slight disbelief. There were not any signs of this altar around, almost as if the landscape had grown around it and covered it up. Blake seemed to have found a piece of paper in the rubble of the destroyed altar as well, saying something about it being a necromancy spell or something of the sort. "I guess you got pretty lucky in that regard. It's not all that often you find something like that." Rowan responded, picking up some of the rubble and examining it closely. It had a strange script on it, undoubtedly being something native to the region that they were in. Did that mean it was the dragonkin language or something similar? Curious, Rowan decided to place the piece of rubble in his bag. Maybe he could find someone that he could trust who might translate what it said for him. Not like that'll ever happen. Rowan thought to himself and sighed a little bit, turning his attention back to Blake.
"Of course I'm still feeling the effects of that thing. And I think I know what it was... at least... I have a general idea. We learned about things like that in the Academy... but we were told not to mess around with them too much. They're scrolls that grant abilities to people. That can be through instruction, or they can simply engrave themselves into people in a way. They do, however, have strict requirements to use them. Not only do you have to meet whatever requirement the one who created it set, but you have to be compatible with the ability itself. As such, if I found a scroll that contained a water ability, it would be useless to me. There's no way I could use something like that." Rowan explained to Blake, trying to get her to understand what the scroll as that he had found. While Mages might not know too much about them, or even most Knights, anyone who went through military training would have a basic knowledge of scrolls like the one that he had found. Not that I know too much about spell scrolls. Those things are beyond my knowledge... although I am vaguely aware of their existence.
After the two of them had started moving through the forest again, he noticed the Blake was starting to turn more and more red as the two of them walked. Curious, he moved around the woman to stare at her face, only to see that she was blushing pretty heavily. What's wrong with her? Is she thinking about what had happened last night or something? Maybe that guy really did capture her interest. After all, he was pretty mysterious and seemed to come out of nowhere. Women are supposed to be interesting in that kind of crap, right? Although, she wasn't blushing last night too much. Eh, whatever. Not like it matters too much. Rowan thought to himself, his curiosity quickly fading from his mind as he stopped pondering Blake's embarrassment. Whatever it was, the woman would eventually talk to him about it, just as she had with most of her problems. His attention was taken away from the topic completely, however, when the two of them came across some sort of temple that seemed to be dragon themed.
Some dragon man seemed to walk out of the entrance only to be capture by Blake before he could alert anyone to the two of them. Blake seemed to have a plan in mind, although Rowan was largely unaware of anything except an extreme desire... to slay every single thing within a ten mile radius. The desire crept up on him slowly from earlier, although now it was an uncontrollable rage. Before Blake could even suggest that the two of them head into the temple, Rowan was already charging forward, brandishing Balmung. The dragonkin seemed to cry out in shock before he was sliced by Rowan, instantly being slain by Balmung. His body hit the bottom of Blake's makeshift cage, the cage itself also splitting in half from the attack Rowan had used. "I.... I'm going to kill you all!!!!" He screamed as he disappeared into the temple, out of Blake's sight. With his speed and teleporting ability, It was very unlikely that the woman was going to be able to catch up to him, much less try and reason with him in this berserk-like state of mind he seemed to have.
As for Rowan, he was simply rushing through the different pathways in the temple, ripping everything that he came across into shreds. At times, he would find himself surrounded by enemies, only to teleport out of the way and start cutting through them with many multi-strike attacks from his blade. It did not take long for him to cut down any of his enemies, given that they were all dragon-like and were affected by his Armament in a very negative way. The temple even had dragons guarding certain parts of it, blocking off entrance ways and other places that seemed important. Nothing, however, could stand up to the onslaught that was Rowan. Peoples' screams were actually filling the temple, echoing off the walls and throughout the structure. Those screams, however, were merely met with violence from Rowan, the young man brutally destroying anyone that he came across. Somehow, Gram had pretty much possessed him with a blind rage that told him to destroy every last dragonkin that he came across. Soon, fear and panic was completely spread throughout the temple, and shouts of "Gram" were echoing all throughout it.
"Die. Die. All of you die!!!!" Rowan seemed to be screaming from deep within the temple. Eventually, Rowan found his way to a huge room that seemed to be almost mountainous in size. It was a giant circular room that dipped down into the earth, creating a large pit that went down for hundreds of miles. While Rowan would normally not think too much of this sort of thing, he noticed that there was something within this pit. In fact, it was large enough to take up the whole pit and even some of the area he had walked out onto. In a brief moment of clarity, he had only one thought. This thing's... larger than a mountain... it's massive... Rowan thought to himself, seeing a gigantic, white wyvern that seemed to be chained very thoroughly to the surrounding structure. Was this temple built to hide this creature from sight, to keep it from seeing the light of day? Whatever had been the intent of the people who chained it up here, Rowan could no longer consider such possibilities. After all, he was soon consumed with rage, and there were several dragons flying around the room that seemed to be the target of this rage.

≎ 𝕭lake 𝕿rinity ≎ Ⓜⓐⓖⓔ Blake had stopped when she heard the dragonkin cry out and the sound of clanging metal hit her ears. "What the-" she turned to see the cage and man all in a heap on the ground before Rowan charged forward into the temple, screaming for the death of all within. The Mage's gaze switched from the pile of metal and corpse to the now empty entrance of the cave. Suddenly worried, her feet began moving on their own. A blue light shined for a second as she created an arrow while running in after the man. What was going on? Sure, Rowan wasn't generally the most pleasant of folks, but Blake had never seen him kill someone needlessly. The situation outside had been handled for the most part, and now... she came across the first set of bodies. It was a mess, but Blake didn't dare stop to look closely. Something's wrong... Something is very wrong. It was a dragon-kin, indeed that had stolen the man's first life. Even she was a little wary of them at this point, but the whole purpose of coming out here was finding the one who'd killed him in the first place... This... wasn't necessary. Cheyenne's words echoed back to Blake as screams within the temple did the same. The Genocidal Weapon. It was an armament whose sole purpose was to eradicate anything draconic. She had to move faster. A circle barely formed before the Astral Hound was already out, running alongside her. Go find Rowan! The creature took off into the temple, giving Blake a live feed of the right direction. Is this actually due to Gram? I'd always wondered if it had some sort of effect on him, but I never wanted to pry. Now dragon and dragon-kin alike are falling to him and the Armament... If I hadn't pulled that from the cultist temple... If I hadn't acted the way I did, these people- No, she couldn't think like that, not now. It wasn't going to help anything. She couldn't let guilt eat her away like that especially when there could be something wrong with her Knight.
The nondescript screams began forming the name of the Armament, causing Blake to speed up as she passed the body of a slain dragon. Even the summon was nowhere near catching up to him. It was still serving as a decent guide, either following scent or sound, she wasn't sure what, but Blake had a feeling she would've gotten lost in this place without it. At some point, however, the girl could actually hear his voice further down in the temple, screaming something she couldn't quite understand. "Rowaan!" she yelled down the hall loudly. Blake suddenly got a strange image of a massive hole before feeling the sensation of falling, the summon not stopping before plummeting into the pit. A dragon-looking creature lay at the bottom. It wasn't a dragon, though... Was it a wyvern? The creature looked all chained up, making Blake wonder if that was the intention of this place due to its size. The woman dismissed the summon before getting to the large circular room herself, obviously not making the same mistake as the dog. This place was absolutely huge... and like the rest of the temple at this point, full of dragon remains and an almost suffocating smell of blood, the one thing among them being Rowan. I can't believe he was able to do this much damage...What is going on? Her eyes drifted down to Gram before back up to her Knight, and Blake quickly made her way over to him, careful to go around the bodies of the fallen dragons.
"Rowan...what the hell...was that?!" she gasped, raising her arm in the direction they'd just came. Well, as much as she could with how much they were aching. The question had a bit more venom in it than was intended, as if she were upset about the total slaughter. On the one hand, she was a little. It'd been one thing if these people had been outright attacking them, retaliation and what-not, but after some time, there had only been panic and fear in this whole place. She knew, though, somewhere she knew that wasn't Rowan, not entirely. "I mean..you just- Ah, geez...Rowan, be honest with me, are you okay? D- do you need any healing? Why'd you just... What happened?"

By the time that Blake had managed to reach the end of the temple, Rowan had slain all of the dragons that were flying around, their bodies laying at the bottom of the pit as Rowan hung onto one of the chains that were holding the wyvern in place. With all of the creatures gone, his senses were finally coming back to him and realization at his actions was dawning on him. While it was not enough to make him sick to his stomach, the young man obviously felt sort of... not alright in regards to his actions. He had not been in control, and he definitely did not want to slaughter so many people that may not have even fought him should he have left them alone. As such, it was a pretty terrible feeling that he was experiencing, one that did not sit well with him. Just... what's going on with me. What's... happening to me? Rowan though to himself, looking up at the arm that was holding onto the chain. Gram glittered in the firelight, the black armor-like arm shining brightly due to the lighting. This Armament... it was starting to affect him more and more as time went on.
Blake's words were what brought him back to reality, the young woman calling out to him and asking him, very angrily, what he had done. Her venomous tone immediately did not sit well with Rowan, the man scowling slightly and retorting with a rather venomous tone himself. "I took out the enemy! Something that Knights are supposed to do. Not that you'd know anything about that, wanting to leave everyone with minor injuries or to themselves. Sometimes there's no other way except the worst possible one." He stated with a rather spiteful tone, obviously not happy with what he had done... yet he also did not want to hear anything from her about his actions. Moving back and forth on the chain, Rowan eventually flung himself over the edge of the pit, landing on it perfectly. The last thing I need is you nagging me on top of all of this. Rowan thought to himself, shaking his head slightly at the woman as she continued to speak to him. "If I wanted healing from you I'd ask for it. I'm perfectly fine, and I don't need you bugging me about anything either. Just... keep thinking about what you need to do, and I'll worry about me." Rowan stated, looking away from the woman and towards the creature in the pit.
For some odd reason, he was not feeling the urge to slay it. In fact, the young man did not feel anything at all, and the creature in front of him seemed to not be feeling the effects of Gram either. Did that mean that this creature was not a dragon? Rowan had never seen anything like it before, so he had just assumed that it may have been one and the same. His lack of a reaction, however, made him realize the errors of his way. The albino creature seemed to be rather... melancholic. It was not moving, nor did it show any hope in it eyes. Whatever had been done to it had destroyed its willpower, or at least the strength to keep trying to break free. It was a sad scene, and Rowan could not help but teleport around the room cutting all of the chains apart. This creature needed to be free, to fly around and do what it wanted. It was obviously something rare... and it was not meant to be locked away underneath a temple for the rest of its life. Once all of its restraints were destroyed, the massive creature simply picked its body up, its massive head appearing from below the pit and rising above the two of them.
Eventually, it lowered its head down to their level, its pupil being the size of a small dragon as it inspected them closely. Was it... trying to judge them or something? For some odd reason, Rowan sense a kindred spirit in the creature, just as Gram had recognized Rowan as someone it could bond with. Then, suddenly, a symbol appeared on Rowan's right hand, a strange symbol with a tail and wings. Rowan did not know what it was, although Blake might actually understand the meaning of it. It was something that incredibly magical creatures forged with people so that they could never be separated. Essentially, it was similar to the bond with a Knight and Magus, just without any benefits except feeling the thoughts and emotions of each other. This symbol was simply known as a Pact Sigil, a magic symbol that bond two individuals until either of them died. Rowan simply stared at the symbol on his right hand, inspecting it. "He wants to leave... with us. Let's.... get going." Rowan stated, grabbing Blake's hand and teleporting on top of the dragon's head. Once they were on top of the creature, it simply flapped its wing-like arms and soared upwards, destroying the temple completely as it erupted to the surface, crawling from the hole it created. From atop the creature, they could see the entire island that they were on, being as high-up as a mountain almost. The sight was simply amazing.
