User ImageIt was hard to describe precisely how excited Oriset was today. But let's give it a try:

Ori had loved theater ever since she was a small child. Her parents had participated in community theater since before she'd been imbued, Dad as a member of the chorus and Papa as part of the lighting crew. They'd bring her to practices and sit her in the audience with the other "theater brats," as Ori liked to call them, to provide feedback on lights and sounds. She'd play for hours with the props (though not the set pieces, since the theater crew were worried about small children climbing over heavy pieces of scenery with sandbags suspended overhead). It had been around then that she had decided that the theater would be her life. She would venture out into the world and make the same magic that her parents and the crew had made.

This summer she'd decided to jump start things by applying for an internship with a theater troop, as an assistant set designer. She'd learn the ropes of set design in a controlled environment, before she'd even graduated from the Academy.

Yeah? You feel that? That memory of childhood dreams and the moment those dreams became reality? That's how excited Ori was right now.

She chained her bike up outside and slipped in through the backstage entrance of the theater. Okay, so...who was she supposed to talk to...? There was no one around at the moment but what appeared to be a Hallowed Demon (but hey, they could be a hybrid, it was sort of hard to tell at this angle!). Might as well talk to them, right?

Her heart still fluttering in her chest, Ori walked up to them. "Hi!" she said. "Um, I'm Oriset, I'm the student intern for the set department...?"
