"Purple, some pink and of course white."
Laini had taken some time to think about what Muhuri had said, wondering if she was potentially going to be a mother and would that mean she'd see Tethys again? The thought made her heart flutter slightly and it broke when she told herself that it wouldn't like happen. The pale lion hadn't mentioned coming back and had lackeys to do the work she figured would be done.
"Where is my long grass?"
She wondered out loud, trying to quiet her thoughts. The words weren't cooperating, but her task was. The task at hand was to make a nice, scented bag for her more recent visitor - one she hadn't treated so kindly when all was said and done. That was an unfair way to leave things between them. She lifted some more items into a bag that resembled the one she had in mind for Muhuri`hatma. The colors she was selecting were carefully thought out and meticulously picked from amongst her finest finds. This was the apology of a lifetime.
"There, it looks as though I needn't find any more."
Her green eyes looked over what she had gathered and smiled softly.

Things for Muhuri had gotten a touch dark, there was plenty to be concerned about and the concerns seemed to all lead to Tethys. How was it that one pale lion could wander through here and create such a whirl wind? Also who was he to make demands and then disappear.
Of course she had told him to leave the lands, so perhaps disappearing wasn't the part she could be angry about, but alas here she was alone and feeling defiled. Again, something she'd love to blame him for, but couldn't. So today she'd snuck away from her mother and other duties, things she had sworn to have done by the end of the day, but likely wouldn't be done by the end of the week if her emotions carried on like this.
"What is wrong with me."
Her question was spoken as a demand as she stared into the forest before her. The only other lioness usually out here was Laini and she figured that Laini wouldn't want to see her anyway, so coming here was safe and secluded. When she approached the edge she did give a look towards the little home that Laini had made and was surprised to see it empty, she actually leaves that place?
Crimson eyes, as a habit, began to peer about the tree line, seeking out the lioness that had typically spent her day here creating various woven items.

Laini hadn't gone far from home as she found that a majority of the items she needed were within a short walk from her little place, it was the reason she had for choosing where she chose to build. As she approached the open area that lay out before her home she spied the very lioness she had been preparing her goods for. Of course she hadn't expected to see her so soon, but she'd go along with it.
"Muhuri?"
She spoke softly at first, but there were no sounds to distract anyone from her voice. Her green eyes were gentle and her lips were curved in a small grin - in short she appeared friendly and even slightly apologetic. "It's nice to see you again." Her voice didn't get any louder and she watched as the pale lioness' ears twitch forward to listen to her a little better. "I'm sorry about the other day, you just dropped so much on me that I had to take a moment to myself to think about what was going on." Her eyes dropped to the ground as she finally apologized out loud.
Soon she was standing before the lioness and gazing back up to meet her crimson eyes. They were soft this time, filled with a faded concern that made the darker lioness' heart smile largely.

She saw Laini before she heard her, the lioness was so soft spoken that Muhuri had to strain to hear her, but did relax a little. Some small part of her feared the worst and wondered if Laini would have been bold enough to go after Tethys, though she had no idea what words could possibly be exchanged.
"Oh, there you are Laini." A soft smile matching the others formed upon Muhuris face. She was genuinely relieved to see the lioness. "What were you doing out there?" She had been so busy with her thoughts that she hadn't thought about the craft in which she'd seen Laini complete a number of times in her spare time. "Oh." Crimson eyes caught the bag that had some collected items in it.
"So what are you making?" To which Laini responded. "A gift."
There she was, the shy girl that Muhuri knew, though why the act now just entirely blew her away - was this article for a boy? Oh. That was a thought. "Are you making another bag?" The pale lioness inquired lightly, a little more curious now than before.

Though the craft was meant to be completed alone and for the individual before her as an apology she found herself becoming riled up again. Who was this lioness to come tromping up here and demanding answers to a number of question that she didn't even have the right to ask? Laini was a reasonable lioness, but found the approach being taken to be considered almost hostile. "Yes." Her answer, though short was gentle and fought against every emotion she was feeling.
"I am making a bag, that is a gift for no one in particular." Of course that answer wasn't enough though as she watched the way the lioness before her screwed up her face and retort with the same question clearly seeking more in depth answers. Green eyes narrowed at her company and yet she kept calm. "If you must know.." Laini inhaled deeply and exhaled evenly.
"I am making the bag for you. It's my way of apologizing for my earlier behaviors." She looked away, unable to help it. "I picked some colors that I hope you will like. Of course if you hate it at all then probably wouldn't matter what colors I chose." Laini couldn't bear to raise he green eyes from their view of the ground and her body tensed up uncontrollably.

Muhuri was impressed at the way that Laini appeared to keep her cool - she only saw a flash of rage briefly in those gentle green eyes before they relaxed into a regular soft appearance.
"So I'm no one in particular?"
She was heavily amused and pounced at the idea of teasing her. "Why would you say something like that? Of course I'll love it and use it." It felt as though she was reassuring a cub of their use - had she not bit her tongue she very nearly began to make the 'when you grow up' speech referring to all the great things she'd accomplish.
"Why don't I get out of your fur and let you get to work?" She offered. "I'll be back in a day or two to see what you've made for me?" Muhuri was genuinely excited to see what he gift would be and the gears began to turn on what she could offer in return. Of course the gift was meant to be an apology, she recognized that, but still felt compelled to not come empty handed.
"I'll see you soon."
She said, after Laini agreed and left just as quickly as she had come, but in a much better mood than before.
