Black, Lavender, Purple and Green- these were all colors attached to a senshi not too far away that the Super Senshi of Execution had not seen before. Not out on the town, not in the quota lines, not in the training halls, not in the GenOPs meetings. There hadn't actually been a big meeting recently, but that was beside the point. It was possible that this Other Senshi was in one of the other divisions already. That could explain not having seen them before.

Or possibly a NEW Other Senshi. Power-spidey-sense spoke to the individual being a Scout class senshi.

Whatever the truth was, Haüyne approached undaunted from the left and hailing the other at decibel, "At least we meet for the first time for the last time!"

"Que pasa?" The spanish was drawled out as its own idiomatic phrase. " You gotta partner? team? cap-i-tan that you chill with? Someone showin' you the ropes n'all dat? "

"Haüyne the Machine," and the Super corrupted thrust a hand out to shake by way of introduction.

He had felt the power signature - still such a bizarre sensation - drawing nearer as he'd gone about his business, Gadolinite taking a great deal of pleasure in draining the energy from those he passed by. He'd gathered enough to satisfy both himself and the General Jet in the process - or at least, it should have been enough - and now he was merely exploring.

And apparently being greeted by - someone.

Gadolinite turned, feeling the still-new sensation of his hair sweeping across the ground as he did so, eyes narrowed slightly in the direction of the other senshi. A slow smile dawned across his face, and Gadolinite took the offered hand, giving it a small shake of greeting.

"Gadolinite," he said, voice low and even, thick with the Russian accent still audible even powered up. "I haff no partner, but I vas corrupted by General Jet. Vhy are you called a 'machine?' Are you some sort of mechanical device?"

Corrupted BY the General? The training pros all indicated that calling a Sovereign was a necessity to Negaverse senshi, unlike lieutenants. 'If you capture a senshi, use your crystal to contact your division leader or ask for the fastest available. Blah blah youma blah blah... '

Not that is effected much which one, if any, had had a hand in this senshi's chest. Haüyne couldn't even remember who it had been for the same occasion....just that there were people. Lots of people. Hazy faces...fear...the smell of waxed wood. Words, and distractions suddenly became very welcome. "'Machine' because it rhymes, " the corrupted of execution laughed. "Not sure its a widespread nickname, though. I've been pretty solo-act myself. "

"Haven't heard of General Jet, but that's cool. Gadolinite's a cool handle. Are you still GenOp, or...is your general, or following to aim to a different division? Met any cats? The talking kind that have to help with our shindiggery. "

He wondered what the senshi was thinking, Gadolinite's eyes tracing the strong jawed face, the bright eyes, curiosity alight across his own face. He supposed he could have been more specific in his answer, or included that Jet's initial attempts to corrupt him with that man Aurostibite had failed dismally, and that they had brought him to someone else, but that all seemed unimportant at the present moment. Gadolinite was more interested in others, more interested in learning the Negaverse and its benefits the longer he was in it.

A grin touched his face.

"It is a good nickname," he declared. "I like it. GenOp?"

It took him a moment to recall the lesson. "Ah. You mean vhich division, yes. I haff not met any cats, but at present I am in GenOp. I do not know vhich path I will take."

Gadolinite gestured to the senshi. "Vhat about you? Vhat division are you?"

"Still GenOp, myself. And no personal cat, neither. They stick around to specific persons, sometimes, I hear. Divisions, yeah....I'm not well connected in civilian life, not really good at the schmoozing bit, ya know? So no Infiltration. Reams of paper and information sorting, collating, and presenting sounds like getting reamed with a traffic cone, so no Information. And so far as I've been able to get a bead, Special Operations is just for those who really like bashing their knuckles into things, people or otherwise, without any thought behind it."

"They've all got their own opinions that GenOps is for dirt and slackers, though, I'm sure. Coyotes aren't dying out like the Red Wolves though, so there's something to be said for generalists over specialists in the evolutionary ladder, know what I mean, " Haüyne shrugged and rolled both shoulders, sticking out tongue briefly at the end to emphasize. Opinions are like buttholes, evr'body got one.

"Definitely see what there is to see in each, talk to some people. If you fit in and find a niche, that's the big thing. Bein' good at what you do. Sometimes that's with a team organized by your captain, or general, or whatever commanding officer. Sometimes teams are in same or different divisions. I guess it's every situation is different. ESID. "

"But I'm around. Live in the barracks. If you ever need a hunting partner. "

Gadolinite let out a small noise that indicated he was amused. "Did not know that cats vill stick to person. I haff not yet looked at vhich division I vant, but not Information. Sounds terribly dull," he added, with a smirk that spread across his face at the thought of paperwork. Infiltration, on the other hand...if there was one thing Gadolinite was good at, it was schmoozing.

He grinned at the other senshi. "You like just hitting things, then?"

Gadolinite was finding Haüyne's straightforwardness refreshing. He waved an uncaring hand. "I haff never cared much for anyone's opinion other than my own. Just do vhat you like to do, and do it the best you can, right? But you are right; I vill talk to others in divisions, see vhere I vant to be in the future."

His head tilted, long black locks spilling across the ground, which was still taking some getting used to. "I vould like a hunting partner. Vhat do you hunt? Those Order brats?"

"Hah! Hitting things has it's perks. I like having some flexibility about it, though? Spending every mission going around grinding people's faces into pavement sounds as woof-worthy as licking the stapler. Might be able to get something from Senshi and Knight's from talking before breaking their jaw, right? Apparently they can go out to space, to other planets. Imagine if you could find some cool s**t and bring it back. Talking nice to one Knight that seemed a good target and getting some goods that make getting ten of them to see the Queen's Glory? One for ten is mighty nice. And Spec doesn't seem to have that sort of....forethought. Compared to GenOps. Generalist. Jack of All Trades. Do a little of everything and be really damn useful, can't go wrong with any partner or team." The Corrupted of Execution shifted from one foot to the other, lifting each at ankle in a stretch of quadriceps while speaking. It was more comfortable to keep moving.

"But we could hunt LOTS. Sure, Moon Kingdom Senshi are on the table. Knights. Moon Mauvians. Filling out energy and starseed quotas. And getting supply! There's a number of Agents that live in the barracks. Some can hold jobs, others not so much. Like the half youma ones. They're borked for paying jobs. So hunting-gathering supplies of nice housewares and food goes over pretty well with that group. Privateering. "

"How long you been in service? "

Haüyne was both intriguing and feisty all at the same time, a combination that Gadolinite approved of very much. He felt his lips curve up into a savage grin at the senshi's words, and a laugh escaped, low and a little rough, Gadolinite sweeping some of his hair back.

"Can you go vith a knight or senshi to their homeworld - is what you called it?" he asked. "Could you get things from them on their place?"

He needed to find more Order to speak with, to drain, to take. SpecOps did not quite seem like the division that Gadolinite knew he would be good at, and GenOps seemed particularly...pathetic, in a way, a place for those who had no idea what they were doing. But Infiltration...

Yes, he was good at that.

Gadolinite's grin was sharp now. "I vould very much like to hunt. You could show me how it is to find the Order ones and take them out."

A shoulder rose and fell in a suggestion of a shrug. "I haff been awakened only a few months now. Not very long, but I am looking forward to a long future."

"Hey, a few months is great! That means you've probably got some officers going over the 'every planet has knights and some space rocks too' and the ranks and how to energy drain. Basic Training, right? General Jet says it's okay, yeah, let's totally rock it out. I'll be your wingman and we can get you some hands-on fists and explodey action out in the city. He show you how to use the crystal communicators?"

"And yeah, with the space-faring, I hear you can travel up with them. I think its something that Information and Infiltration are encouraged to do? But I'm not sure. I don't know if they could just hold ya out there captured or anything. I've never done it myself. Well...no. That's a lie. I went somewhere crazy old and spooktastic in a church ruin way once. There were a LOT of people all there- knights, senshi, and a lot of us guys. This knight was there. Scholomance. And I've seen him more since then. I don't KNOW-KNOW, but I'm pretty sure that place was his wonder. "

"But it wasn't like he'd come up to me like 'hey wanna see my cathedral?' " The corrupted super made the boundaries of an invisible 'cathedral' at crotch height to emphasis the double entendre. "There was just a weird feeling...like I needed to go somewhere. Then Hey!Presto, I was there. Like teleporting, only weird. "

Haüyne shrugged, "But that's been my one go with it. Rule one is probably Don't Get Stodgy. Or the universe will catch you with your drawers down. "

Gadolinite let out a bark of amused laughter.

"I haff got some things, yes," he said, because at the very least, Jet had given him some guidance as to what he was supposed to know. Aurostibite was there, at times, but it was Jet who had corrupted him (mostly, with that other man's help), and Jet to whom Gadolinite reported, after all.

"He has shown me this crystal," he said. "It is taking time to get used to it, but I vould like very much to fight with you, to hunt."

And to see more of Negaspace, more of anything in the Negaverse. It was a curious thing now, to know that he could go elsewhere; that he could potentially visit the homeworld or wherever of someone on the other side. Maybe if he tried hard enough, he could convince someone to take him...

Haüyne was considered again, Gadolinite idly twisting a few strands of stray hair.

"Vhat do you mean, stodgy? Do you mean vith Order members?"

"Stodgy-stuffy-stuckup-too serious. With eeeverything. Trust me, " Haüyne circled both hands widely. "Commanding officers, comrades, cats, youma, moonies, knights, civvies, everyone that starts acting like they've seen it all, know it all, can't be surprised is acting a fat load. Keep open minded, keep your energy."

"Stuff always goes pear shaped when everyone gets all stone-serious. Captures, new tech, new weirdos we ain't seen before, mirror wraiths going batshit, old standby's kicking buckets and the talks all over the place of exceptions to the 'rules.' Jus' means there's only one rule we need: Queen Metalia is a BAMF and the rest is a Work in Progress, right?"

Hand found hip and a lean in casual stance, accompanied by a toothsome grin, "When you next checkin' in with Jet-petto? Mind giving me an introduction so that all's well come 1 o'clock with a neighborly pilgrimage? That way he can let me know if there's anything specific he'd like us to practice together. "

He could understand that, at least in a way. There were already too many people in his regular, everyday life that believed they were better or that they knew more than he did because of varying life experiences, so on and so forth. Gadolinite wasn't stupid; he wasn't about to simply let them choose his way in life, that was for him to decide.

"I vill keep in mind," he said, and meant it, because he disliked the idea of anyone getting stodgy, as Haüyne had put it. "I haff heard that Metallia is very impressive, but I haff not heard of 'mirror wraiths.' "

Or whatever they were called. Gadolinite's smile was wide and curious for the corrupt.

"I vould not mind," he said. "I can show you to him so he can help."

The general was admittedly young, but Jet at least knew what he was doing. Gadolinite gave a dip of his head, Haüyne's smile shark-like in his vision. "You seem like you know what you are going after. I vould appreciate any training."

"THEN WE HAVE AN ACCORD, " Haüyne clapped the other corrupted's shoulder boisterously. "Drop me a line on the crystal when you and your C.O. are G.T.G. and we can do the pop by. "

It was suspicious that the other didn't answer the direct question about 'when' from just a breath ago. He went on with pleasantries that didn't amount to specifics. Which usually indicated someone wanting to remain polite, but extricate themselves from the situation. Or person. Or in this case Haüyne was pretty certain to qualify as a person who was a situation. But not dumb, sir, that I can't pick up what you're puttin' down. Dude just come out and say s**t, this is a waste of both our time. I got Bus. I got this far without a direct C.O. myself.

"And good luck in the meantime- quota's easy to keep when you're not getting jumped by moonies, but it's those between times that'll leave ya bruised. Keep at it and you'll be a-okeh." The corrupted super gave a two fingered salute from the arch of a brow. "Latah, friendo~"
