He is still young and from the, random out bursts of small magic as a child Itida has been able to mold his magic and to control it to some extent. Currently he uses it for his hunting purposes with making his footsteps almost completely silent. This was how he earned his nickname The Phantom by his adoptive father and mentor, for when Itida hunts he almost has no presence. Itida also has learned how to direct wind flow. His control nor power in the magic field is not strong enough to generate storms or even huge gusts of wind, but he currently has enough power to be able to direct a small gust of wind. He uses this power to help in his hunting with archery, it gives him a wider range of access to his pray from farther distance and around obstacles that normal archery cannot hit. ╳ Biography: [Itida was born to a Ventiaus woman by the name of Elaheh (eh-LAH-heh) who made jewelry in the capital city. It was one spring morning that a Thalassian diplomate with his escorts arrived in the city to talk a form of truce or other political talk in the capital. One of the attendants by the name of Asger (AHS-gƏr) took an interest in the gifted jewelry maker and with the months the man stayed in the capital with the diplomates his love for Elaheh grew, but unfortunately his duty called him back to Thalassian and he left Elaheh back in Ventiaus for Asger had a wife and child in the water country. Finding this out struck Elaheh with such grief that she was unable to find her love for the beautiful jewelry, she fled the capital and took up residence in a small farming village several miles from her birth place in the capital. It was not until a month after her lover Asger left that she found out she was carrying his child. Finding out she had life inside of her broke Elaheh's depression and gave her life. For she knew she would have to raise and guide the light that is growing inside of her.
Months passed and Elaheh could not move back to the capital. Her heart would not allow her to return to the place that once gave her such fond memories. The months passed and in the middle of winter Itida was born. He was a healthy baby that did not cry, he of course made whimpers but it was the strangest sensation that the midwife had never seen a little newborn not cry. Instead it was as if the little baby was trying to get a sense of what was happening but was to small to do so and that was how Itida was born on a cold chilly night.
Years passed and it wasn't until Itida was six that another out burst happened. From his early years his magic was contained and even as a baby Itida was a very quiet child and hardly cried or threw a tantrum. He slept most of the time and was only active when prompted, but when he was six he had been out playing with some of the other children in the small village when he had climbed up into a tree with a couple of the older boys. The older boys were not as innocent as they let their parents believe and had intended to push the to trusting child out of the tree to teach him a lesson, but there plan did not go as predicted. When Itida was push he did fall and the small child feared that he would die and that was enough burst of fear that wind came out of him and stopped him within a foot of hitting the ground where he just floated for about a minute and then dropped to the ground. Magic wasn't performed in their village and the sudden act scared the older boys who ended up falling out of the tree. The older boys suffered from a couple broken bones but overall we're fine. But from that day forward they feared Itida. This soon spread to the adults as Itida was a very unusual child. He craved knowledge and wanted to know about everything, more so than any child should at his age. This isolated him and his mother from the rest of the villagers. They were not treated badly or shunned by any means but there was a barrier between them and the others. For not only was Itida to smart for his own good but he also didn't look completely like a Ventiaus.
It wasn't until two years later when things went even farther down hill for the small family. It was in the summer that Elaheh collapsed from working in the fields and by the end of the extremely hot and dry summer Itida was without any family. Being left alone he, with the help of several of the local farmers, buried his mother in the small villages grave yard and had a small funeral. Alone and with out any family the village was unsure of what to do. Even though they did not want Itida to be left alone to raise himself none were willing to take him in. So within the next couple of days the elders of the village sent Itida with one of the farmers that traveled to the capital to sell their crops. The farmer was instructed to take Itida to one of the capital orphanages.
The orphanage was very willing to take in the new addition. Being in a loving community and country the orphanage was very well funded and children were often adopted very quickly, but some were not as lucky. One of them was indeed Itida. As the boy started to mature and grow into his body it was clear that he was not fully from their country. But that did not stop the patrons who ran the orphanage to love the smart boy. They taught him essential life skills and answered his questions, and when they were unable to give him answers they often directed him to places he could. Being a bright boy he often helped the mothers at the orphanage with the younger children and was seen as an older brother of sorts and many of the younger children looked up to Itida.
Unfortunately there was an aging out age that Itida reached. On his fifteenth birthday he was unable to stay at the orphanage any longer. The mothers had tried everything in there power to find a home for the young man, but they were unable to. So with very tearful good byes Itida was given a bag with his belongings and asked to leave. In a bustling city as this it did not take Itida long to find the merchant areas and tried to find work. He was denied by several traders as they did not want to take a chance on the unknown boy, and close to nightfall Itida grew worried that he would not find anything, but it was as if the Dragon Gods smiled on him that night. A local hunter had been passing by and notice Itida, the man had been looking for an apprentice for he himself was growing old and could no longer hold a bow. Within minutes Itida had something he had never had ever in his life. A father figure.
A year and a half has passed and Itida has reached his sixteenth year of life. He quickly picked up the bow as well as the ways of the hunter. Itida lives in the capital with his adopted father Behnam (beh-HNAHM). Behnam owns the largest archery workshops and fur trade shops in all of the capital. Itida still thrives for knowledge, and as his skills in archery and hunting increase the young man wishes to someday be able to enter the capitals royal library to read about the world.]
