What was a camp without outdoor activities? And doesn't outdoor dining technically fall under this category? It sure seemed like it because Joy was being tasked to repair outdoor furniture. Joy liked to think she was good with her hands and thought at most it would entail painting or hammering nails into s**t. She could probably follow a diagram or a set of instructions.
Guess what was not included in the repair kit?
On the plus side, she was going to be working with Kai. Gear in hand (or more specific by her feet), she turned to him and asked "You ready to get hammered?"

Kai wasn't a crafter and he didn't make things. Rhatbwasnt saying he wasn't willing to try and he got that since he was new that they'd give him b***h jobs. It was fine and he was happy he knew at least the person with him. The woman knew how to joke.
"Hammered and screwed." He confirmed.
"So ya know anything about how to make this stuff?"

Joy bent over to pick up the kit, hefting it slightly to get a better grip on the heavy thing. "Not a clue. They didn't teach us carpentry stuff in High School, just how to use a sewing machine and cook," she said cheerfully, "Hopefully the benches and tables aren't in too shitty a state that we have build them from scratch."
The lack of lumber being provided made her feel hopeful that it was a simple repair job. "How about you? Any good with your hands?"

"Not with making stuff like this. First time." He said, moving over to grab the kit to help her lift it and then looking around. "We can just read the instructions?" If there were instructions.

"I don't think there are any. Mebbe that means whatever needs fixing is pretty obvs on how it's fixed?" Joy was ever the optimist. Something his weapon seemed to both appreciate and resent at the same time.
