Biography: Born to a moderately wealthy family, one would expect her to be a bit selfish or materialistic, but she had been raised to be just the opposite by her loving mother. She was always taught very seriously about what was right and what was wrong, to the point where she would scold and berate other children her age that misbehaved. She was always more mature than those her age as well, spending much of her time studying and learning anything and everything she could due to her boundless curiosity. Eventually, she decided for sure she wanted to be a Marine like her parents before they retired as merchants in the Holy Land. Upon hearing of her choice, her mother then began to teach her how to fence, her own chosen method of combat while her father taught her a more oriental style. They realized that teaching her both of what they were best at would give her a chance to choose what she wanted, however she exceeded that expectation by literally fusing the two styles into a single form of battle, even using her own sheath in some of her defensive maneuvers as well, creating a truly unique method of swordplay. She was soon after off to the academy for training new recruits, managing to stun both officer and fellow recruit alike with her superior prowess in battle and her overall scores. She would graduate at the top of her class with little effort and would stop off at home to inform her parents in person afterwards. Unfortunately, she was met with a priest at her door, being told that both of her parents had died on their merchant ship due to a pirate attack. She became overcome by grief, confusion and anger during that time as she couldn't think of how two skilled warriors could have lost, even if they had retired, they had both been in great shape regardless. After her time of depression however, she became more determined than ever to finish her duty as a Marine, wanting nothing more than to bring her parent's murderers to justice at all costs.

Technique Name: Kage Giri Description: This is the ability with which Luka is able to take the shadows of those she defeats in battle, who surrender to her, or are giving her permission to do so in character. Luka may only forcibly claim the shadow of someone defeated (or they surrender to her beforehand, allowing her to take the shadow of quiet captures as well) in a legitimate battle and any other shadow may be given to her with legitimate permission to take. The shadows taken by this power are updated like items, each named for and listed for their total stats and known customs at the time without taking up any actual bag space. Luka may control and employ all shadows she owns as if they were her own in battle, letting her use all Kage Kage no Mi abilities with these other shadows equally as well. Shadows will carry all of the raw abilities of their matching owner, possessing the same stats (counting race/occupation) and techniques known by the person that shadow belongs to. The shadow (when manifested as Doppleman) may employ any technique it's owner knows as well at their stats but it will not be able to make use any items besides mundane duplicates of basic weapons made of shadow (Only Luka's own shadow will benefit from her item boosts when manifested as Doppleman as it is directly bonded with her soul) or any Devil Fruit, cyborg part, or biologically reliant abilities as the shadow does not keep said traits. Such techniques may be attempted though the special effects reliant on these traits will not happen. Shadows also match the owner at all times in all ways, so lost limbs will be reflected and even gender changes, however should the owner of a shadow die, that shadow shall dissolve and fade away as they cannot exist if the owner is dead due to containing a reflection of their soul. Those who have their shadow taken will not perish if touched by sunlight and suffer no real drawbacks without having their own shadows. Lastly, defeating Luka in battle will not force all shadows to be forced from her control, however Shadows may be 'liberated' as if they were normal items claimed upon her defeat, releasing them to their respective owners instead. Technique Name: Shadow Strike Description: Luka has learned the basics of controlling her own shadow as it's own entity. During battle, she may have her shadow extend out in razor sharp spikes or blades (may be made into blunt attacks to avoid lethality as needed) from the surface it is being cast upon (granted that Luka can alter where her shadow is cast regardless and even make it move independently from her body so long as it remains within the range of her control). When used this way, the spikes can shoot out from the current surface to strike at anyone or anything Luka desires with a force equal to her own Strength +5 regardless of whose shadow she uses. The length of these spikes and blades may be as long as 1 ft for every 10 Strength Luka has, or the used shadow has. Technique Name: Shadow Stitching Description: After learning how to properly stitch up wounds of the body, Luka has worked on using shadows to stitch up injuries and prevent herself from bleeding out without needing to stop and physically treat herself. Any given shadow may be employed for this technique but once it is separated for threads, it cannot be used for anything else. A single shadow can be divided into enough threads to seal up [1] minor wound for every 10 Endurance Luka has. moderate Wounds will use [2] threads instead, major wounds will use [4] threads, and mortal/lethal wounds will require [8] threads per fix. If this ability is used in the post that the treated injuries are taken, no HP loss will occur for blood loss from that point on, however these threads cannot be maintained forever and will need to be replaced and treated properly by a doctor after combat ends (Luka will be able to hold these threads for no longer than 3 posts after the fight has ended if she is still concious). Technique Name: Shadow Armor Description: Luka may have a shadow cover her own body completely as a defensive 'skin' to protect herself from damage in battle. The shadow used will cover her entire body with its own black matter to block incoming attacks, but this protection will also cover her weapons as well. This 'armor' will reduce all incoming damage by Luka's own Endurance +5 as well as attacks aimed at destroyed her weapons by the same amount. Certain other techniques like [Shadow Strike] may still be employed from this armor as well. Luka may have [Shadow Armor] active for up to 3 consecutive posts at a time before it must go on a 1 post cool down no matter what shadow was used for the technique. Technique Name: Parry Description: As a duelist themed fighter, Luka has learned to deflect forceful blows rather than simply block it head on with brute strength. By using her sword to redirect the path of an opponent's attack, Luka can effectively avoid taking damage altogether. If Luka's Strength +5 is greater than the opponent's Strength (or attack power), she may redirect their attack and send it off course, causing it to miss and leaving her attack open to a counterattack. Technique Name: Enhanced Kami-E Description: This technique involves making the user's body relaxed and go limp in order to avoid attacks, and float like a piece of paper. Flexibility is greatly increased and the user is able to evade in ways and positions that would not ordinarily be physically possible. Luka gains +25 Speed for evasive purposes when Kami-E is in use and may be used to avoid attacks that her body would not normally be able to move around. This same ability can be used to employ general feats of inhuman flexibility as she sees fit during combat, molding her own body and even being able to adjust her own dimensions to some degree as necessary by even compressing herself in some parts or her entire form at will. Technique Name: Perfected Tekkai Description: A defensive technique that greatly hardens the user's body muscles and skin to the level of hardened steel to block incoming attacks, but momentarily prevents them from moving when they do so under normal circumstances. This technique will reduce the power of any and all incoming attacks by Luka's [Defense +25] when in use but Luka is will not suffer any sort of movement restrictions when using this technique. Thanks to her ability to control her body more actively than normal humans, she can maintain and make use of this enhanced, steel like defense while staying in motion and suffering no drawbacks for doing so in combat. Technique Name: Soru Echo Description: A technique that is performed by rapidly kicking off of the ground no less than ten times in a single instant, Soru grants the user a powerful burst of speed for both evasive and offensive purposes. When Luka uses this technique, she moves at her [Speed +50] and shall leave behind an Afterimage effect where she was prior to using this ability. Any enemy that is slower than her boosted Speed will fall for the illusion and be left vulnerable to her next attack while they are distracted by the false attacker or target, depending on how she used it. Technique Name: Sunder Description: By directing any of her attacks at a piece of equipment instead of her opponent's body, Luka may use her strike to slice apart, smash, or otherwise destroy said item at the cost of an amount of Stamina equal to the Tier of said item. This technique may only be used 3 times per battle however, regardless of Luka's Stamina, however if this attack misses the intended target, then the Stamina cost is not paid and the use limit is not lowered either. Technique Name: Basic Busoshoku Haki Description: The user may cover a single part of their body (arm, leg, hand, foot, head, or torso) in an invisible armor for a single post. It is activated by the user, thus is cannot be used if the user is caught off-guard. Basic Busoshoku Haki can be used to increase the user's offense or defense by [50] points. This level of Busoshoku allows the user to touch the tangible body of a fruit user, as noted above. Basic Busoshoku can be applied to weapons the user is holding, but only for as long as contact is maintained. Furthermore, the weapon or object takes the place of the body part; i.e., Busoshoku will be applied to the weapon, not both weapon and hand, etc. Basic Busoshoku Haki can be used without the boost, but with the other effects stated in the technique, by expending [10] Spirit. Technique Name: Intermediate Busoshoku Haki Description: This level of Busoshoku Haki possesses the same qualities as Basic Busoshoku Haki, as well as new additions. The user may cover their entire body in invisible armor for two posts at a time; it extends to the weapons the user is holding at the time. It can be used to increase offense or defense anywhere from [100] to [200], depending on the amount of Spirit paid. Intermediate Busoshoku Haki defends against the harmful effects of elements, such as the intense heat of the Magu Magu no Mi, or the frigid temperatures of the Hie Hie no Mi; i.e., it prevents the user form being frozen, melted, or from succumbing to the effects of temperature, etc. Intermediate Busoshoku can be used to coat projectiles or any object that leaves the user's body. This means that the attack/ object in question must, at some point, be in contact with the user's body or the weapon they are holding. Anything coated in Busoshoku Haki gains the same properties that the user gains. Intermediate Busoshoku Haki can be used without the boost, but with the other effects stated in the technique, by expending [25] Spirit. Requirements: Obtainable at 250 Spirit | Basic Busoshoku Haki
Technique Name: Basic Kenbunshoku Haki Description: Attainable at 150 spirit. For a brief moment (one post), the user gains insight to the hidden world. They are granted the ability to sense the presence of hidden individuals within a bounded, spherical space whose radius is determined by the user's Spirit stat divided by 10 and represented in feet. Detection, however, is not equivalent to understanding. Kenbunshoku must be activated the post before it is used. Basic Kenbunshoku Haki can be used once every [50] Spirit the user has: i.e. someone with 150 Spirit could use Basic Kenbunshoku Haki three times a fight at this level. All Spirit costs for Haki abilities stack, meaning with 150 Spirit, one cannot use Basic Kenbunshoku Haki and Basic Busoshoku Haki three times each. Requirements: 150 Spirit
Technique Name: Intermediate Kenbunshoku Haki Description: Attainable at 250 spirit. For a short period of time (two posts), the user's prediction skills are enhanced by using Intermediate Kenbunshoku Haki to bolster their reaction stat by a set amount. By spending [100] to [200] Spirit, the user can boost their Dexterity stat by the amount paid. For example, a person with 250 Spirit could use Intermediate Kenbunshoku Haki anywhere from 2 to 5 times a fight. All Spirit costs for Haki abilities stack, meaning someone with 250 Spirit cannot use Intermediate Kenbunshoku Haki five times and then use Intermediate Busoshoku Haki five times as well.
