Kian dropped to the ground first like it was the easiest thing for him to do. She appreciated the view for a moment longer before slipping her hand into his so that he could help her down to the street as well. "Thank you," she murmured, looking up to him for a moment before slipping her arm through his so they could exit the alley like a couple that had just gotten lost. "Now that we're down on the ground-- I promise I'll be on my best behavior tonight, Mr Cappello. Not just to get dessert out of the deal, but... I'm sure I owe you that, at the very least. Afterwards maybe we can take a rooftop tour of the town to let things settle before I take us back to our cars? Teleporting on a full stomach isn't exactly pleasant..."

He set a hand over her arm as they walked down the sidewalk and laughed softly at her almost-apologie. "We'll see how we feel after we've had dinner but that does sound pleasant." He had spent a bit of time seeing the city like that and just getting used to his other self. It was a good way to spend the evening when he had the time and company could be interesting. "I think though that we will be able to manage a nice stroll over the roofs before we return to our cars."

"It's a good way to work off all of the calories from dinner." A soft smirk touched her lips as she leaned closer to him, mostly in an attempt to leech a little bit of extra warmth. Next time she really would have to re-think the suit jacket as her only form of protection against the weather outside... The skirt came to her knees, at least. Too bad she couldn't have kept the duster from her uniform along with the rest of her outfit for the night. "You really don't look bad in the black and green-- Or the Romano's purple, for that matter. They both suit you." She nudged him lightly as she walked alongside him.

"You should have brought a heavier coat. The weather has still been colder than usual after those storms." He was at least dressed properly for it though his heavy coat was still back at the school. Two sweaters and heavy dress pants made up for that and he was warm enough to make the short walk to the restaurant. He did rather like the school uniform or at least their expectation that the staff wear the same colors as the students. "Purple would not be my normal choice but it does work rather well." He pulled the door to the restaurant open so she could step inside ahead of him.

"I didn't think I'd be going out to dinner tonight." Her smirk broadened slightly, flashed directly at him as she stepped into the restaurant, thanking him softly for holding the door for her after. She might not have had many opportunities for dates like this, but she did at least know how to conduct herself in fancy situations when she needed to. "It makes your eyes stand out. I bet they don't miss much." Her own eyes lingered on his face again as they paused by the stand to check in with the host in order to inquire about a table for two.

"You do seem to like those." He smirked, looking at her for a moment before he turned his attention to the host and the table. He didn't miss the look the host gave them, knowing what it must look like, but they were shown to a small table in the thankfully quiet dining room. It seemed like most everyone was down the street in the theater so there wouldn't be too many eyes on them. When the host was gone he held out the chair for Katrina before sitting down himself. "Before I order anything, how old are you Kat?"

Old enough was the answer that almost passed her lips and if he was perceptive he was likely to pick up that she had restrained herself from saying the first thing to come to mind. The second thing to come to mind was Legal, but that wouldn't work either so Instead she shifted so that she could reach into the pocket of her coat to pull a small card holder containing her ID, sliding it across the table to him so that he could look at it when she finally spoke. "Twenty. I'll be Twenty-one in April. I might make rash decisions sometimes-- More often than not lately, but I wouldn't put you in a position that would jeopardize your teaching by lying about my age."

He didn't look at her ID, not after the slight shift in her face. She had probably been tempted to lie but she'd restrained herself and that at least deserved a bit of trust. "Not old enough for wine with dinner." It was a pity since the restaurant did have a decent selection but he could do with other things. There was always water or he could order one of the imported sodas. The waiter would be by shortly though. "Do you like pesto? I rather like their dip." And there was plenty of bread and pesto to share with the portions the place gave out.

"Dinner at a fine, Italian restaurant? No, but I've had a glass with dinner at home before." She didn't know many over eighteen who hadn't. Drinking had never interested her much, however. She'd never liked the idea of dulling senses that were meant to be heightened and alive by numbing them with alcohol. "They do have a cream soda on the menu-- Might not be bad with a white sauce pasta. There's always iced tea as well. Pesto with bread is always a pleasant way to start out a meal. Have you ordered their stuffed mushrooms before?" Her brow lofted as she glanced up from the menu, tempted to order a bit of everything but not wanting to push too much at what he'd be willing to pay for.

"Dinner at home wont get me arrested again, here it will." He smirked, voice slightly teasing. He looked over the menu when she mentioned the mushrooms. He hadn't tried them before but they did look interesting. "I have not. Would you like some of those to go with the pesto and bread?" He raised a brow slightly as he looked over at her. In the darker light she looked a little less wild but no less dangerous. It could also been that she was trying to be good but he wasn't going to voice his opinion on that one.

"I enjoy seafood, generally. Mushrooms too, if they're cooked well... Stuffed mushrooms tend to be a good way to get a little bit of both in one go." As she started to warm up she shifted, shrugging out of her jacket so that she could drape it over the back of her chair and settle in more comfortably for dinner. The splash of pink in her hair might have made her look younger, but she seemed to be conducting herself with a bit of refinement for the time being. "So I suppose the answer is yes, I wouldn't mind them. What do you generally get when you're here, Mr Cappello?"

When the waiter came over he let her order her drink before ordering his own along with the pesto and mushrooms. Thankfully there was no strange look from the watier and he hoped it would stay that way. He wasn't in the mood to deal with some judgemental idiot after dealing with Katrina. "It depends on my mood. I rather like the eggplant parm and their shrimp scampi is divine."

"Mm... Both of those options sound quite good. Prissy might never forgive me if I got red sauce on her shirt, though. I-- Didn't exactly tell her that I was borrowing it, but I didn't have time to pick up anything of my own and most of my wardrobe isn't exactly conducive to fitting in long enough to make it through the halls at Romano's." A soft smirk touched her lips as she reached for the glass of water that had been left on the table, bringing it up to her lips to take a small sip. "What kind of mood are you in tonight?"

"Borrowing your friends clothes?" He raised a brow slightly, smirk on his lips. From what he knew of her she didn't seem like the sort to have 'business' clothes so that made a little sense at least. "I've gone through quite a few moods tonight but .." He pondered the menu for a moment before looking back up at her. "I think the scampi tonight." It would be a bit lighter and the restaurant did make a delicious version.

"The skirt's mine, so are the heels and the stockings. I'm afraid I don't have any white blouses, though-- There was a specific look that I was going for." She'd almost wound up with a pencil in her hair and a pair of black framed glasses, but she thought that might have been a bit much and a little too obvious. "Have you had their alfredo before?" Her brow lofted as she glanced up from the menu once more, watching him for a moment before closing it. "... Actually, I think I'll let you order for me. If you wouldn't mind?"
