Blasaz had spoken with a very small number of members, just letting them all know that she and Krisis would be leaving for a brief period of time, taking a chance on the word of Tethys to see the Bahari`mtoto. A pride that she had determined was possible her dream vacationing spot, just from how it had been described. “The coast.” She murmured to herself quietly. That had been enough for her to desire making a trip at all. To see something so vast and powerful like the ocean would simply be breath taking.
“Krisis, have you packed?” The goddess enquired as she entered the den with which she still shared with her daughter. The youthful goddess would do so until she was an adult, something that made Krisis a touch grumpy from time to time, but there just wasn’t any use in her having her own den yet. Besides, she really didn’t have many articles to store so a singular den made more sense. “Yes. Laini gave me a bag, Mom.” The adolescent lifted herself up to use both paws to hold up and display a woven bag made of grasses. This particular bag was also decorated with some flowers which Blasaz thought were lovely.
“Very nice Krisis, do you plan to trade it while you’re there or have you brought other things to do that with?” Blasaz asked curiously.

Krisis had spent the morning with Laini, a timid lioness that had been manufacturing some bags and various other articles by paw for some time now. The bags she produced were lovely and often scented due to some of the flowers and things she used while producing the articles. It was the goddess’ intention to pick up some of these articles to complete some trades in the Bahari for some trinkets, including jewelry of their shells. “I’ve packed the important things.” She smiled to her mother from the corner of their mutual home. She hoped that upon their return to the pride she’d be able to talk her mother into getting a separate den now that she was nearly full grown. That was a topic for another day though.
“I intend to trade the bag, though I may have a hard time parting with it after having it for the time that I have. Laini did a spectacular job on these items and I hope to repay her with something special from our trip. I also found some gems and hollowed them out many moons ago. Perhaps they could find them of use while we are there?” The young goddess was proud of herself and the items she had gathered, in her mind they might fetch a pretty trinket or two at least, if not more.
She peered behind the goods she had been holding up for her mother to see to find that her mother hadn’t gathered anything. It was a good thing she planned for that and pulled out a whole other bag. “Just in case you didn’t get a chance to gather some things for yourself.” Krisis smiled shyly as she offered the bag to her mother. Though she could come across as rude or ungrateful, but really she did care.

To say the mother was surprised by such a gesture would have been an understatement, Blasaz felt tears well up in her eyes at the sight of such a precious gift from a daughter she had grown to expect nothing of. "This.." She breathed. "Is for me?" The goddess tightened up and shook gently, loosening up her poor self without bursting into tears.
"Krisis, this is probably one of the sweetest gestures I have ever seen. You can't possibly expect me to trade this." She was smiling from ear to ear, incapable of stopping herself. When finally reached out and grasped the bag she felt that it was full, likely of goods similar to the ones that Krisis had packed for herself. "You're such a sweet little goddess." She smiled at the bag and back to her daughter. So it seemed they were ready, packed and both incredibly excited.
"Do you know much about the coast?" Blasaz offered the question wile she mucked about in the den straightening up this and that with the bag in tow. It was obvious that she wasn't prepared to leave it alone, not even for a moment. "Probably not much more than what I've told you. Most of the members here wouldn't recall the coast since traveling didn't seem like a priority to them. Being a god has it's perks." She mused out loud which earned her an affectionate laugh from her daughter.
"Alright, let's head out, we have plenty of sky to cover before it gets to late in the day." With that Blasaz left the den, all of it immaculately organized in such a way that when she returned she would have very little to do before getting back into the swing of things. All the while her mind was swirling about with ideas of what to do when she got there and if she did trade some of her gifts for something else, what would that something else be? She hoped to gain shells and trinkets, but what kinds.

Admittedly Krisis had figured her mother would become a touch weepy at the sight of the gift and it made her feel good, really good. "I'm so glad you like it." She said, lips moving to form the words through a smile that just wouldn't quit. She watched as her mother took the bag and seemed to latch onto it, the scene warmed her heart. "Well hopefully you're able to part with some of the articles. I'll get you more when we return home if you fall in love with any of them. Promise." Her heart was warmed by the whole situation, never in a million years did she think they'd share something like this.
"I know there is water, it's a tad chilly because of the winds coming off of the water, but the whatever chills there may be is warmed by the kindness of one of the prides that call it home. I hope they have as many trinkets as I think they might." Krisis was lost in thought when Blasaz finished tidying and ended up leaving, but she wasn't lost in that thought for long and soon followed her mother. They'd be flying there, something that Krisis enjoyed even more than most things in life. Taking to the sky was second nature to her and if she ever found herself grounded, even temporarily and not by choice she'd be destroyed.
Soon they were off on the start of their vacation, free from the borders of Intaba for a short while.
