The dark pelted lioness had been busying herself since the day that she had met Tethys and in her little mind she'd imagined that life would return to the way it was, but instead she was greeted with a number of differences. A majority of those differences were internal, differences she was struggling to understand. It had been her first time, a life altering moment for the lioness to deal with and she was alone during it all. So Laini had turned to what she did best, learn.
Weaving things had been something she enjoyed watching for quite a while, not many of the lionesses here knew how to make any woven products, but those who did had helped her to piece together something of an instruction so that she could begin on small projects. Her first being a bag that she could use to carry some small articles when she went out to gather for herself and the other healers. It was about halfway through this task that she spotted the Icala`phathas daughter not far from her, staring.
Laini gave the pale lioness and quick smile when their eyes met, but she quickly dropped her vision to her task and began to mumble the instructions to herself. "Through this, through this, through this..." Until she was entirely around the work and had to begin again. In truths he hadn't ever picked something like this up so quickly, she blamed her need for a distraction for that.

"Laini." Muhuri`hatma approached the lioness who had become intensely more engrossed with her task by the second. "I know what you did." She stated. In truth her knowledge of the lioness she was approaching was limited to a name for the most part. She had seen Laini around plenty of times, but never truly had a need to see her for more than a few seconds in passing, that was until now.
Her last statement earned her a stared from the lioness whose paws had now stopped working at their project - it was as though Lainis whole body needed to be still to listen to this. "Tethys traveled alone, he was injured." Muhuri began to describe the lion. "He's pale, white to be specific." The most desirable of colors within their pride, of course the temptation was there and real. "You weren't the only one Laini, you weren't the only lioness tempted by him." She'd not admit that she was one of those lionesses tempted by that lion, not yet.
"You aren't alone." She wanted to scold her, try to teach her right from wrong, but she got the immediate impression that perhaps that wasn't the right approach.

Laini had to blow some of her vibrant colored bangs from her face when she peered up at Muhuri with green eyes the size of saucers. A blush had formed brightly across the paler part of her nose visibly, but also she burned a white, hot desire at the mention of his name. "I know who he is." She finally said, her voice quiet, but firm. "How could I forget him?" Ears twisted back in a way that suggested she didn't look forward to anymore conversation, her eyes went back to her work quickly to ensure she hadn't missed a stitch before setting it aside in favor of paying attention to this conversation.
"How many others?" She asked. "Did he simply have his way with half the pride?" This sass was unexpected from her, even she knew that and so her eyes widened a touch more before relaxing as she calmed herself down. The questions were unrealistic, but just a bit snippier than she was used to. Her mind reminded her that typically there wasn't a reason to seek out individuals that had laid together and so perhaps there was more to these questions than the huntress was leading her to believe.
"C-Can you explain why you're asking?"
Laini was still blushing furiously as she thought of Tethys.

The questions weren't a surprise, not after what the lioness had been through - though based on her reactions to the questions she wasn't in a bad way because of it. In fact she seemed fairly happy about the whole thing, something that Muhuri wished she could feel for the most part. "Just a couple that I know of so far." She falsely admitted. to Laini, yet she received no reaction.
"I'm asking around because Tethys has given some stipulations to his actions. Actions that both parties are responsible for committing to as adults." Her eyes never faltered at staring at her company. "So that includes you, since you didn't correct me. So, here is the rule he has stipulated and I have agreed upon on behalf of our pride for the sake of it's safety." She paused briefly, though mostly for effect.
"Tethys has advised that when the day comes that his cubs are born to us, he will be watching." Muhuri didn't feel the necessity to explain how he was watching and based on Lainis silence she cared little about the how. "Should there be any males, though he didn't specify at first, he will be taking them to the safety of his home for the rest of their lives. Tethys made it clear to me that he doesn't condone our actions towards males in our home - especially those that exhibit sight."
"So we need to be wary, but diligent. Let a healer know as soon as you realize if you are pregnant or not - the pride will be watching."

Pregnancy had been the least of her worries. Had. Laini listened carefully, not daring to open her mouth throughout the entirety of Muhuris speech that was so poorly prepared it made her ears hurt. Surprisingly she felt that his request was fair, as a male he should stand up and take responsibility for his sons. If the speech had been meant to hurt her idea of him it didn't, in fact it achieved quite the opposite.
"Thank you for letting me know Muhuri." She replied quietly, all the words that had been swimming about in her mind were lost as soon as she tried to speak - that just seemed to be the way for her and it was often times so frustrating. "I'll let one of the healers know my condition, should there be a condition to worry about. Do you know when he will begin monitoring us?" Her hope was that she would say soon and that he'd be personally monitoring them, but him personally watching over the pride seemed like a silly concept for a lion who seemed out to grab the world by it's ears.

"He will begin in the weeks or days when pregnancy becomes obvious." In all truth he had stated months from now, as a possibility, but she wasn't willing to risk providing that knowledge wrongfully. They could begin to present as soon as a couple weeks.
Muhuri didn't wait around to watch the lioness who so clearly wasn't bothered by any of this. Peering back she saw exactly what she had anticipated, the lioness was right back to work on whatever project she'd begun, something woven? The paler lioness had zero talents in the crafting department outside of preparing pelts from their kills. That was just habit though.
Now it was time to track down the others.
