It had been maybe a day or two since Moira was reunited with her family - Vic, Arno, and Dagda - as they had arrived at the Mansion where she had been pretty much given the okay to live there by her uncle. Walking about the grounds slowly with her son perched on her shoulder, clinging to her face, the large woman was just quietly showing him around the place as it had barely changed since she had been there as a child. Everything looked the same, felt the same, even smelled the same.
Taking in a deep breath as she stepped closer towards the center of the grounds, she had to stop suddenly as the tangy, metallic scent of blood hit her nose, causing her mouth to water a little from her wolf side getting more than a little excited over the thought of a fresh kill. Pushing the thought away, she scanned around the area to see if she could spot anything. She hadn't stepped on anything that she knew of, and Dagda was still placed on her shoulder and humming to himself.
"Where are you.." she whispered as she slowly took a couple steps forward, on edge even though Sanctuary was supposed to be a safe place, a place of safety for almost everyone of their kind.
Still clinging to his mothers face, Dagda perked up when something caught his eye. A mass of something not too far off, the colors in his own eyes muted, but there was a mass of murky, dark brown with specks of a bright, lemon-y yellow and a dark, cloudy blue. "Momma, Momma! O'er there!". He shouted, pointing over in the direction of where he had spotted the mass of odd colors.
Looking over to where her son was pointing, Moira's eyes went wide as she saw the mass of shadows, blood, and body sitting not too far away. Rushing over, she knelt down and looked over to the person, muttering under her breath.
[Blood, Gore, Body Horror, detailed description of traumatic events]
Zephyr was passed out cold in the grass, his body limp and butchered - his face slashed up in several places including over his left eye, his right arm gone at the shoulder, and both legs missing above the knees. Although he had lost three limbs, there was only a little bit of bleeding as the veins had spasmed and retracted into the body causing the bleeding to have slowed down. Taking in shaky breaths, the breath out wheezing and aching, it looked like he had gone through some sort of hell.
Moira cursed under her breath and knelt down, quickly and carefully picking up Zephyr and rushing him towards the central building of the grounds, her mind digging through her memories to remember where the 'Nurses Office' had been back when Sanctuary had been the Academy. As she ran with both her son on her shoulder and Zephyr in her arms, keeping his cut off legs propped up on one of her arms to try and reduce the amount of bleeding. Still cursing as she got him into the Nurses Office, she set him down on one of the beds.
Looking more than a little startled when Moira ran in with a dying man in her arms and her son on her shoulder, the Nurse quickly stood up and just stared at what she was seeing. There was blood, quite a bit of blood, but not as much as she had been expecting. "Wh-what happened?!" She asked quickly as she pulled on a pair of gloves and skitter over to the wounded Zephyr, quickly covering the amputated limbs with gauze and nodding her head towards the large hybrid, "Can you apply pressure to these?" she asked quickly.
Moira sat down next to the bed, setting Dagda on the floor next to her as she carefully took the two cut leg stumps and the severed shoulder and applied just enough pressure without breaking any of the poor fools bones, "I found him outside - he... I don't know, I just don't know. There's so much blood, I just, I'm so scared." She said quickly, looking over to the small Nurse who looked just as flustered as she did.
Frowning, Dagda slowly started to climb onto the bed, sitting right next to Zephyrs head. Looking rather worried himself, he placed both of his tiny little hands on Zephyrs messy, blood soaked hair, his brows furrowed as he focused on trying to help. As he focused, a faint little, soft pink glow could be seen under his hands. [Resonant Healing: Lv. 1, -1STA (STA 7/8 )].
As the two women worked on getting him patched up and the bleeding stopped, he took in a deep breath as the toddler healed him. Not a lot, but something. It was definitely something. [4/100HP].
"This is bad, very very bad. He's lost a lot of blood already, but we can't exactly do anything about it right now..." The nurse said softly as she went about adding more gauze as the blood continued to seep through, looking rather distraught. "We can't exactly send him to the Hospital..we don't know how he got here, what happened..." she murmured, looking over to Zephyr's face to where she saw Dagda, looking confused, but she saw the glow, and smiled a little. "Though maybe we can keep him stabilized for now, we might be able to get someone to come in from the nearby hospital to help.." The nurse thought about it before she stood back up, "I'll go ask about it, can you keep applying pressure to those spots for now?"
Moira let out a soft breath and nodded, biting her lip as she looked down at the man who she had last seen several months ago when he had arrived with her grandmother in the base she had been taken to before. "What happened to you?" she asked softly, taking her one free hand to pull out the cellphone that had haphazardly been shoved back into his front pocket. Turning it on, she swiped it open - a little amused that he had no passcode on it, and checked the recent messages.
Looking at one that just said 'help', Moira tilted her head and took her time trying to press the call button. Once pressed, she put the small phone to her ear.

Mise gave a frustrated sound, "Help. he said." Mise put on his jacket, he sent roughly a 60 texts and tried to call no less then four times in the 15 minute time frame since he had gotten the vague 'help' text. "no details on where or what the situation is, but please help, and of course I'm going to." He wasn't sure what exactly he needed to help with, but when he knew he would be prepared to move.
When Zephyr's ringtone started playing on his phone he darted across the room to pick it up. "Where in the nine hells are you. Giving me a vague 'help' text and then going dark like that." he started ranting. "Jesus Zephyr, that's not even touching on you just up and disappearing on us." The thought that it could have been anyone other then Zephyr on the other side of the line hadn't even occurred to him - in his clearly panic ridden state.

Moira pursed her lips when she heard the voice - a faintly familiar voice but she couldn't quite place it, but she let the man on the other side ramble. Clearing her throat, she continued to hold the three amputated limbs with her other three hands while the other held the phone to her ear, "Well - I would love to tell you what he was thinking, but I do believe he won't be able to answer on his own right now..." she stated before adjusting the phone in her hand a little, doing her best to not crush or drop it.
"He's... at Sanctuary...we've got the nurse out and asking if she can get someone to come from the nearby town to do a blood transfusion for him.." She muttered, looking down to Zephyr who was still out cold. Dagda was still sitting near his head, his tiny hands still placed on the mans face.

Mise went silent at the unexpected voice. Taking a moment to recollect himself he stated, calmly. "I'd like to apologize for my unsightly demeanor." His mind raced between breaths, trying to judge the danger Zephyr, someone who he considered one of his and had put under his care, was in. "Sanctuary, you say?" A relieved touch hit his voice. It meant he was safe for the moment at least - or at least safe enough that Zephyr felt protected as revealed in his drunken rambles. "Good, please, take care of him ... I'll be there as soon as I can be. Sometime tomorrow, most likely." A frustrated breath escaped him. He tried to stick to Criel because of exactly this problem. For all he could do, travel was restricted to automotives and roads.

Moira let out a soft sound - happy that the one had someone who at least was worried about his well being, more so considering his current state. It was relieving, honestly. "I'll be taking as much care of him as I can - I'll have to leave sometime tonight to go back to my home, but I'll be staying here for as long as they'll let me." she stated as she looked towards the door, where the nurse was pacing as she talked on her own phone.

A smile found its way onto his lips as he felt comfortable by leaving Zephyrs fate in the hands of the woman whose voice he finally managed to place. "I trust that you will do everything you reasonably could do and then some. I look forward to seeing his royal highness king shellington the third in person, Miss Moira. Oh ... one last favor." it came to him as a after thought, "I must say I appreciate the attempt at delicacy to not just crush Zephyr's property with your overwhelming might ... however, now that this call is nearing it's end. It would be a favor to me if you could cease holding back and crush this phone wholly within your hand. It's ... a security risk." a sad but unfortunate truth.
He mentally set aside funds to replace Zephyr's phone with a new model - a trivial enough task. Pulling a coat more suitable for the cold weather over his suit jacket, and hesitating before leaving the door. "Alutae, can you hold the home down, while I go collect our boy?"

The large meta smiled a bit - though as she heard the nickname, she couldn't help but laugh a bit and look over to her son who still had his hands on Zephyrs face, trying to do more that he could, but it seemed like his healing was on a short timer of sorts. "Well - I'm sure the kiddo would be pleased as punch to meet you." Moira smiled, though, as Mise went on about asking her to crush the phone, she looked at the phone before smiling, "I can do that with ease." she stated before hanging up and looking down at the phone looked tiny within her hand.
Closing her hand around the small metal frame, she felt it crack, then break into several smaller pieces before she tossed what was left of it in the nearby trash can.
---
Looking up from her position on the couch, she stood up looked over to Mise, "Wait - you found him?" she asked, clearly wanting to go with him, but she also knew that she had to take care of business at the house.

Mise grinned, as only he could - with a mouth full of razor sharp shark teeth. "Yeah, and better yet - he's safe." He figured that was a half truth - If he was in such a bad way he couldn't answer his own phone - then there was still some danger until the entire situation could be resolved. That thought in mind - he felt reasonably confident that the elder woman he had briefly encountered during the halloween ball could handle whatever form that danger manifested itself as. Leaving only a small window to truly be worried about.
Mise picked up the teenage meta, he knew how badly she wanted to go with him - he could read it clearly on her face, which he then smooched. "I'll be back in ... two, three days. There should be enough food in the fridge to keep you all satiated, but failing that - order out and I'll make us a nice big meal when I get back." He gently set her back down and petted her head. A soft smile touching his lips. A moment of hesitation leaving her side - but trusting her to do as she must, as he does in kind.

Alutae wiggled a little bit as she was picked up, smiling at the much larger meta, kissing back as she was kissed. "Alright alright - I'll stay and watch all the other pups. I'm expecting a steak when you get back, though." She grinned wide up at him, putting her hands in the pockets of her hoodie.
----
The nurse finally returned, looking more than a little flustered, "They won't come out to do a blood transfusion as they don't seem to have blood type records on hand of metas and they're not sure what could happen if a meta used blood of another race and they don't want to risk it. Which...I mean, does make sense, so what we can try to do is make sure that he didn't lose as much blood as we're thinking.." the nurse rambled a little bit as she looked over to the three in the office.
Moira was still applying pressure to the three lost limb areas while Dagda had ended up falling asleep leaning back against the pillow. Looking over to the nurse, the large elder sighed, "Well - if we had a healer proper that would help a lot.." she looked over to her son and frowned a little.
"True, but we don't have a healer and the one who helped him last time is still out wandering about.." the nurse sighed and shook her head, heading to rummage around for more tools to help Zephyr get stabilized and not lose more blood.

It was a silent flight from Belosh to Sanctuary a lot of it helped by the sound of the wind passing, making it hard to even shout and be heard. As the gates came into view Ree flew high over them, angling to land on the roof of one of the ballrooms with a sigh of relief.
Wings drooping to the ground he looked up searching for Zaku, trying to gauge if the muse could make it the last few yards then figure out what to do from there.
Zaku Had pushed far past his limits, literally running on pure adrenaline alone by know, not even sure himself how he was still flying save the determination for answers. Landing on the same roof, he stumbled and fell forward, barely able to roll to one knee before trying to push himself up again, wobbling and obviously exhausted. He didn't care however. Looking around, he took in the place his ex once called home, the place he had been told so many stories about, the place meant to be a safe ground for those in need. This was sanctuary, once thought to be a mere hopeless dream turned reality. Taking in a breath, he looked to Ree and gave a single nod.

During the eight hours that had passed, a doctor was finally sent to Sanctuary to look Zephyr over and take a small sample of his blood to take it to be tested to see if there could be any hope of getting him a blood transfusion. When the doctor was around, she had taken Dagda off to go get him a snack, eventually returning with him about an hour after the doctor had shown up since she had seen him drive off.
By the time the eight hours had passed, she was sitting next to Zephyrs bed, Dagda half asleep in her top set of arms that she was rocking softly, humming a soft lullaby to the small sleepy toddler who was sucking on his thumb as she had pretty much decided to play guard dog to the wounded Meta. She herself had a bounty - it was clear as day but the bounty she had hadn't been updated with her change to Elder as no one had really seen her since the incident with Arno; and she knew Zephyr had at least a warrant the last she knew of.
With him looking like he did, she just wanted to make sure that he wasn't left defenseless with a nurse doing her best to keep him alive. She did owe him after all, having found the information on Vic.
Closing her eyes as she continued to hum, she began to sing the lullaby. "Late at night when the moon is high, The Wolf will make its eerie cry..Echoes in the valleys deep.. And the mountains that are steep." Moira sang softly as the Mercenary lay unconscious as he had been when he arrived and her own son was lulled to sleep.

As Zaku saw a dream turned reality Ree saw a mistake. Safety for metas by metas and only for metas the last sanctuary for Metas...a preserve for the last of their kind. Assuming it even survived the corruption it brought in...corruption he was going to lean on now with the help of the former Renegade leader. I was not the way to go ... it never helped any other race.
Ree turned his attention to Zaku, moving to help him but stopped as the muse got right back up to his feet. //Liability// his mind supplied as he stared blankly at the muse. //....protect him// // ...even after...///yes//
"I only stayed here a week or so . Who is your other contact? I can look around but that would take time and we might be seen eventually"

"Mirabelle..." he spoke softly. Zaku looked dead tired, surveying the area before dropping down to the ground floor, not even rolling this time as he hit the floor and fell to his hands and knees, before taking a deep slow breath, a reflexive hand returning to his side, reminance of pain from the injury he had there a while back. Pushing himself slowly to a stand once more, he staggered and began to walk toward the main hall, at least there would be a map of the school there where to find maybe the housing or the medical wing or something. Not being familiar with the area and not realizing the nurse's office was in the main building as well.
