Muhuri`hatma thought on the option provided by Tethys. The lion who had, in moments it felt like, stirred up her entire world with comments suggesting the pride wasn't doing the right thing, but they were. The need to cure those cubs of their disease was out of necessity, not of sport. Yet he approached the subject with such aggression and enthusiasm that she was nearly convinced otherwise. At first she didn't know what to do with the information and had even thought to go to her father, but this seemed a touch more delicate. So instead of seeking out a defensive commander she sought out her mother.
"Mom?" Her voice didn't shake, didn't suggest that she felt any other way besides calm. Decisions had been made and she'd have to reconcile the endings at another time. For now she needed to set aside her own personal concerns for the well being of other members of the pride. Red eyes glanced about at the entrance to the den she had grown up in., the den that was shared between her mother and father. The smell was so familiar it actually had begun to relax her and help in the strength of her voice. "Mom, are you here?"
Her queries were met with silence at first, but not for long.

Sabia`nafsi felt as though she had been combing the earth seeking out her daughter, since birth she had been keeping a close eye on Muhuri. The reasoning behind her concerns were always well concealed behind smiles and thick walls. The only lion she had even mentioned her concerns to were Hoaka. Even then she didn't get to deeply into it as her concerns were not entirely something that existed - Muhuri had grown to be a fine young lioness and hadn't even shown any signs of sight. For the time being it seemed the family was in the clear.
"I'm here Muhuri, where have you been."
She approached the entrance of the den at an average pace, her frustrations of losing track of her daughter were forgotten when she saw the concern in her eyes. "What is it? Has something happened?" The questions were quick and as she spoke it was clear she was changing roles from mother to concerned offensive commander. In light of recent events she'd wondered if perhaps there should have been a tighter lid on the situation regarding that injured white lion, but alas what was done was done.
"Are you okay? Is the pride in danger?"

"Where I've been matters little." There it was, the concern never began for the well being of others, but instead the concern was for where she had been. In the grand scheme of things what would it matter? Muhuri sighed heavily at the berating until her mother finally got to the point of it all. The pride.
"Something has happened, but both myself and the pride are fine." Though who knows if that could change, maybe not for the pride, but Muhuri was often tempted by the thoughts of leaving this place and never returning. She had wondered a number of times if it would be better for all parties involved? Up until this point she had defended her pride blindly, never seeking any other answers because she never had any questions. Tethys had raised questions she'd never really thought about before and blindly following was looking much less appealing.
"That lion, the injured one people have been spreading their rumors about." Muhuri began. "After being seen by our healers had apparently taken it upon himself to sample some of the ladies within our lands. Ladies who gave themselves willingly for the sake of his pelt." She was reminded of his pale pelt, completely forgetting the darker markings he bore all together. That white was beyond desirable and he someone had made him privy of that.

Sabia scoffed at her daughters wave of a paw about her whereabouts and when the words came out just as nonchalantly about her misplaced concerns nearly made her snarl. "It does matter, never question that again." The voice of authority rang through, but her emotions began to adjust to the conversation when Muhuri gave her no additional time to intercede with a lecture.
"He what?!" Red eyes widened as her daughter finished up with what she was saying. Sabia was entirely baffled by what she was hearing, surely these lioness' had more of a clue than that? Did any of them even find out where he was from? Just some rogue coming in out of the roguelands, not even by choice, but driven by a note from some other lion that intended for the pride to mend him? If she was ever going to faint now would be the time, she decided.
Calming herself took some effort, but she managed it before speaking to Muhuri. "What about you?" She queried her daughter. "Were you swept up into this mess?" Sabia peered towards the belly of her daughter, she was already pudgy to begin with, but she'd like to think that she'd know if her daughter was playing host to cubs. Of course it'd be to soon, all of this occurred within days and yet she still maintained that stare for a few moments. "Did he say more, I'd say that him coming here and laying with a few of our lioness' (who didn't seem to be complaining) was worthy of all this fuss?"
She sighed softly, wondering what the true cause for alarm was.

"Mother. He has said that he will be back for the boys. All of them." With purpose Muhuri avoided the question, one that would likely come back to bite her later on. "He's threatened to wage a war on us if we don't comply with this demand of his sons, if there will be any." She made a mental note to track down other potential mothers that would bear his children, provide this message to them so they could be prepared. To rip away a cub from it's mother was one thing, to do so and have them move to an entirely new way of life was another. This was something all of them, in this odd sisterhood of Tethys would need to be prepared for.
"When the patrols begin, which may not be for quite some time, they will be done by hawks. I made it very clear that we'd want nothing to do with his lions patrolling our borders - so we had a win." She carried on, pushing further and further from a question she should have been able to say an easy 'no' to. Instead she wound up making a mistake in a series of mistakes she knew to be her life. At this mistake might lead to little ones that would love her without question.
"I wanted you to be aware and be able to be prepared should you see more than a hawk above. Beyond that I haven't another thing to say to you about the matter."
Without hesitation she turned from her mother, bidding her farewell and leaving.

She listened intently, ears pricked forward and immediately noticed the diversion towards the problem. There was a much larger issue, but Muhuri wasn't able to admit to it at this time - fine. Sabia`nafsi felt her back stiffen up as she tried to remain calm.
"Thank you Muhuri."
This was all she could get out before watching her daughter turn heel and run. Red eyes blazed, trying to burn holes into the back of her daughters head as she made quick work of getting away. To say Sabia was mad, was an understatement. She was infuriated, concerned and desired nothing more than to lock her whore daughter up with the rest of the other lionesses that decided this was a good idea.
If she ever had a chance to meet this lion she'd tear a strip off of him, the gears were working. If she ever wanted to meet him she was sure the only way was to hold those boys hostage, perhaps that was an idea for the future to get her chance at him. For now she retreated to her den, seeking an area to pace in alone and think on the situation a little.
