This place has branched off and due to such, I have to change the rules up a bit to follow that of the PG-13 rating system.
▪General Guild Guidelines▪
As guild Captains, Vice Captains, and Crew are registered as moderators to this guild, it is their responsibility to moderate members inside the guild. Upon a post being deleted by a mod, that post will instead be sent to a secret guild which Gaia Moderators will review the posts before permanently deleting them. These deleted posts can have an impact of your actual Gaia Account. The same goes for any deleted threads. Normally threads are to be archived but on the rare occasion that a fight breaks out in a thread and it is deleted, that thread will be sent to a secret guild for Gaia Online Moderator review. Your behavior in guild's can and will impact you status as a member of Gaia Online. Although at any time if any ranking member in a guild is breaking the TOS and has gotten out of control, then please report the user. If the guild itself is breaking the TOS because of it's content, then please report the guild. Only report if truly necessary, do not report unless you have proper reasoning!!! Make sure to always report to the Captain or Vice Captain(s) on notice of bad conduct first to allow the moderators an attempt to settle peacefully. As for banning, if you are banned from a guild, you must appeal your ban through the guild's Captain and Vice Captains. You cannot appeal a guild ban to the Gaia Online team. Upon being banned, the moderators of the guild have the right to add a description as to the reason they are banning you. If it is a ban just for inactivity then it will not affect your Gaia account. If the ban has a full detail reasoning as to why, it will become a mark against your Gaia account. Continuous banning from guild's for breaking the TOS can result in a ban from Gaia Online due to disorderly conduct in public places.
▪Misdemeanors▪
These small actions will be held against you and continuous actions will cause displinary action.
Trolling
When a user attacks another user without the intention of stopping. Even if you provide valid reason against them, they will find a way of continuously attacking.
Spamming
When a user posts contentless posts or continuous repeat of pointless posts. Unless bumping is allowed, continuous bumping can be considered spam.
Flaming
When two or more users post hateful or violent remarks at one another. Also referred to as fighting.
Purposeful Illiteracy
When a user has a full understanding of grammar and punctuation but decided to post text that others cannot understand. Most cases suggest the user does not bother correcting the typing mistakes and tries to force others to understand them with broken words and or sentences.
▪Offenses ▪
In these cases, a moderator of the guild must be informed immediately. This content may be subjected to reporting.
Harassment
When a user constantly attacks another aggressively with no intention of stopping. The attacker personally targets that person or group and remarks threats at them. The attacker may post extremely hateful comments or tries to devalue that person. This is a repeated offense.
Sexual Harassment
When a user preys on another person for sexual desires. The user may try to torment another user into doing sexual acts for them. The user may even use sexist cursing or slang to devalue the target into submission. This user may try to get you to send pictures or do actions via blackmail.
Blackmail
When a user holds a secret of another user and using that secret to manipulate the target into doing what they want.
Flame Wars
When a user or group of users engage in a hateful and heated argument with another user or group of users.
Bullying
Similar to harassment, a user will try to pick on another user to make them feel bad of worthless. The attacker will say that what they do is harmless or not what it is. These actions can go unnoticed and seem like a normal event. Although the constant belittling of the user can result in a crush of self esteem. This involves cursing at them, calling names, or calling what they like or who they are worthless.
18+ Content
This is when a user post pictures or goes into detail in text of actions that only the adult audience to view. Common posts of this are cyber sex, pornographic photos, nude photos, role play sex, suggestive typing, etc. These are for the adult audience and not for a PG-13 area.
▪Role Play Intolerances▪
These actions can result in discipline.
God Mod
God Mod is an action or choice a user makes when role playing. It is where they could have godly control over other people's characters. It is where they perform actions beyond limits. This may also pertain to a user taking no damage or defeating another character with ease. This also pertains to doing actions that defy logic or are outside the bounds of reality.
Auto Hitting
A type of God Mod where a user declares damage or declares that they have hit another user's character in their post. Unless the hit is unavoidable, all declared hits are banned and can be subject to punishment.
Time Skipping
When a user who is a member of a role play jumps forward events or time without the consent of all participating in the role play.
Spamming
When a user makes the same posts or does the same actions over and over. For example using the same attack time and time again.
Killing
When a user declares that the other user's character has died. This also pertains to kicking a person out of a role play. Only moderators and the owner of the role play are allowed to do such for moderation reasons.
Gore
Gore is when a scene is too graphic for young audiences. This includes massive blood, dismemberment, etc. All actions pertaining to gory scenes are banned.
Aggressive Attacking
When a user has a grudge against another user and takes it out of their role play character, essentially preying on them.
Sexual innuendo
When characters in a relationship remark sexual actions or do suggestive actions to one another.
