Ai had wandered away form the festival grounds some time ago. Admittedly she had been looking after Tomoe and making sure he was having some fun for a change. She knew things were terribly awkward between the two of them, but there was something that set her heart a flutter when she actually saw him having fun. The night was starting to come to a close when things took a turn for the worst. And not just, 'poor Tomoe just tripped' kind of worst, but the whole town was in an uproar.
Sirens were blaring and there was a voice telling them to seek shelter. She had no idea where to go though. If she had been back home she'd know exactly where to go in a situation like this, but here? People were running in all sorts of directions and none of them were really willing to stop and help her out when they had themselves and family members to take care of. Before she knew it most of the streets had cleared out, everyone was already well on their way to some safe location. Most of the ones still running around were too terrified to interact with any strangers, in the event that they were some sort of threat. She had to admit, she was worried about bumping into some stranger as well...
If she couldn't find a safe zone, she'd just have to make something else work out. She knew how to place barriers, though it had been a while since she'd taken any of her magic that seriously....
