Bestla really, really was not a fan of patrolling in near darkness. Sure, she could have closer to the lights of the city, but to her way of thinking, it was far more likely for someone to need help who was closer to the dark. After all, lights usually acted as a deterrent to most crimes because no one wanted their victim to get a good look. Or to risk having anyone else clearly see them.
Still, that knowledge didn't stop her from regretting being out and about and far away from her electric blanket. Though, if things stayed this quiet, she could probably call it a night and head home to warm up soon.

It had been almost a full year since Dani set foot in Destiny City- it was too risky. Deep down, however, she knew it was time to go back home and figure out a plan. So tonight she found herself powered up as Cyllene and roaming the dark outskirts of the city. While she knew anyone could feel her power signature or summon her at any time, she felt comforted by the shadows as if no one could see her. Except she was wrist-deep in someone's chest (being on the run is exhausting, you know! She couldn't help it!) when she felt the familiar tingle of an Order Senshi approaching. Her fingers wiggled around the starseed she held tightly, almost feeling high off of the energy that drained out of it and she glanced in the direction of the Senshi. Drain more, pull the starseed, or bail before getting caught? In one careful movement, the girl dropped to the ground as Cyllene pulled her starseed and spun to meet the Senshi's eyes. She looked at Bestla, looked at the starseed, looked back at Bestla and grinned as she made the starseed disappear into subspace for later. "Hiya," she called to the other girl.

Bestla had caught the glimmer of an odd aura. And, in spite of her better judgement, had decided to track it to satisfy her curiosity. As she stumbled on the other girl, she quickly found herself wishing that she hadn't. It wasn't just what looked to be a dark pit in her chest and forehead (though that was certainly bad enough). It wasn't even the fact that Bestla had just seen her pull her hand from another person's chest.
No, okay. It was definitely that Shorty McGee here had just had her <******** hand in someone else's chest.
She watched the girl look at her, then to the shining thing in her hand, then back to her and felt the hairs on the back of her neck prickle with fear. In the back of her mind, she was aware that, logically, she had very little to fear from someone so comparatively tiny. But when faced with things that simply shouldn't be, logic flew out the window.
Swallowing past the dry knot in her throat, Bestla shuddered at the grin. And in a cracking voice, managed to stammer out her own greeting.
"H-hi?"

Taking a few steps forward, Cyllene clasped her hands together behind her back. She rocked back on her heels and looked up - way up at the other Senshi. "You're... Really ******** tall." She blinked a few times and shrugged. "You sound nervous," she said as she tilted her head to the side slightly, her long blonde and blue hair piling on the ground at her feet. "Do I, a tiny helpless girl, make you nervous? 'Cause I mean. I feel like I should be the nervous one considering I'm up against Gigantor. Is it the hole in my forehead? I feel like it really bugs people. Oh oh! Or is it that cool magic trick you saw where I did that?," she gestured over her shoulder at the girl slumped on the ground a few feet away from them. Cyllene raised a hand her right hand and hovered it in front of the other girl, her eyebrows raising, "wanna see it again?" she threatened.

The out of the blue statement about her height made Bestla blink for a moment in confusion. Keeping a wary eye on the other girl's hands, she nodded a cautious agreement, all the while wishing she'd just stayed in bed tonight. It would have spared her being so thoroughly spooked.
"Yes, I've been told."
The other girl's chatter distracted her slightly, sounding so innocently curious that it was hard to reconcile with what she'd seen. But at the same time, it served to creep her out even further.
"Well," she began slowly, "Not everyone has a hole like that and is still up and walking around, so yeah. Makes me a bit nervous. And magic trick, hmm," she murmured, throwing a sour glance at the slumped up body. "Is that what the kids are calling it these days?"
She took a quick step back when the girl's hand came up with the offer to show her the trick again. Given what she'd seen, it could definitely be taken as a threat. Expression hardening, Bestla instinctively positioned herself defensively.
"Try sticking that hand in my chest," she said in a soft, matter-of-fact voice, "And I will ******** break it."

If there was one thing Cyllene didn't like, it was being threatened - it didn't matter that she threatened the other girl first. It didn't have to make sense, nothing in this ******** up war did anyway. Her eyes narrowed and her dark blue-purple lips pursed, annoyed by the White Moon Senshi. She looked her up and down once more, taking in her size and defensive stance before deciding that she could definitely take her on. "I dare you to ******** try," Cyllene spat. It wasn't like her, this anger and hatred that seemed to flare up suddenly. But it seemed to happen more and more often, especially now that she had been an Eternal Senshi of the Dark Kingdom for over a year. Every day she felt the chaos in her chest a little more than the day before. Without skipping another beat, Cyllene raised her arms above her head with her palms facing the sky, and called her Eternal attack. The words "Cyllene Acid Rain," came easily to her and instantly a 20ft radius of acid rain began to fall. Go big or go home, she figured. -----
Sailor Cyllene raises both hands above her head, says her attack name and acid rain falls upon her enemies. When the acid rain hits the enemy, it can corrode/dissolve clothes and causes severe burns to the skin. It has a large radius of approximately 20ft, and no ability to distinguish between senshi or negaverse so once it is cast if an ally moves/gets thrown into/whatever her rain, they’re pretty SOL. The rain cannot fall somewhere else until the attack stops, and it lasts for 45 seconds.
