I'm thinking like in a world where magical beings are moving towards assimilation and acceptance in modern times after years of being hunted and persecuted, there is Aurora University built with the purpose of establishing peace, understanding and integration. It is made to create harmony between non-magical students with magical students in this all girl's school.
But of course there are people in the school who may even oppose this integration or others outside the school who oppose it that can serve as a threat or " villain " to the main plot. For instance there can be a dark witch coven who purposely send monsters and hexes to the university just to sabotage it, so the staff lead their own teams to fight against the monsters and perhaps there's a group of students who create their own vigilante club.
