- Blue,
Foremost I want to apologize for the terrible handwriting. I promise it was once much better, but by choice outside of my own autonomy, I am no longer right-handed.
Second I want to mention that, as I do not know your name, I chose for you a nickname. But you are of the clever sort, and I have faith that you will make the connection here with little effort.
I am writing to you now because there are some points to my position that I failed to clarify in our first meeting. While I am consigned under Generals Schörl and Cinnabar to serving the Negaverse, it is most often not them with which I meet. Since this arrangement, I've met with Generals Benitoite, Xenotime, and a third that I do not have a name for. I've been tracked by a captain whose name still eludes me. I was conscripted for a Lieutenant Saponite to drain me. I imagine all of these arrangements were deliberate in their changing party - Schörl and Cinnabar do not want me thinking that this is some kind of a rogue operation, but a sanctioned one by the Negaverse itself. It may well be.
Most have exercised no great harm upon me. Threats to my life or well-being remain constant should I refuse to comply, but I find these threats fairly standard practice. I watched the White Moon issue much of the same threats when they held a battalion of Negaverse agents on their own. I imagine that, for most of the Negaverse agents, it's nothing personal.
I should reiterate - "most" have exercised no great harm upon me, with the exception being a general decorated in browns. He saw fit to gore my leg with a cane I carried.
I write this to give a better picture of my workings with the Negaverse at current. The worst of the deeds I've had to carry out demanded the surrender of a White Moon senshi, which Benitoite harvested. I presume this was a test of my resgnation and a start at reclaiming the cache of starseeds that they lost during the summer. 'New beginnings' and all that.
I thought about your offer, too. I expect that the best offense I could manage here depends on information, but for obvious reasons, they will know if I seek it myself. These two are generals, and this means they've built up enough of a history that they may have a few dirty little secrets that the rest of the Negaverse will be less-than-pleased to hear about; if you would be so kind, please use your wit and resourcefulness to look into their pasts. Perhaps you can find something of note that we might use to erode their strength with the faction.
In the mean time, I am going to continue serving. For as long as I comply with their wishes, I stand a theoretical chance at recovering my signet ring. I doubt I will run out of usefulness anytime soon, either; my unique magic assures me of that. And, I suspect they know that giving me access to my Wonder would prove fruitful for them overall. They know Scholomance was a weapons research facility and that I have enough of it running to produce some viable trinkets. I imagine this is not advised, but… Well, I can't imagine direct opposition is advised of yet.
Their constant demands have taken a toll on my personal life, however, so I cannot abide their commands forever.
I've rambled for too long, however. I hope this letter found you well, Blue. Do try to stay in touch.
And for immediacy's sake, I picked up a burner phone. Its number is 555-589-1442.
Yours,
Scholomance
