Before you lays a small clearing, the earth here fairly dry, or as dry as swampland can be. Apart from the dirt there are puddles of water, each of varying shapes and sizes, littering the area. The only other thing here is a wooden post that has been pushed into the ground, located a few yards away. A nearby doe greets you with a small smile. "Greetings. I have some prizes I'd be happy to give away if you can pass my challenge." She nods towards the wooden post. "Reach that wooden post and touch it, without touching any of the puddles, and you have won my game." It seems simple enough, until she points to a small pile of cloth with her hoof. "There is a catch though; you must do it blindfolded." Quote: Once per day, participants may roll 1d20 and write a short response, collecting any rewards they may win. 1-4: Whoops, you fell into a large puddle of water and become soaked! White Sands offers you some cloth to clean yourself up and encourages you to try again later (no token) 5-10: Just when you almost reach the goal post, you misstep and land in a small puddle. The doe gives you something for your efforts (+1 token) 11-19: You reach the goal post without any issues. She congratulates you on your efforts. (1+ token) 20: You breeze through the obstacle course in record time. White Sands is so impressed, she gives you something a little extra (+2 tokens)

Breath Gives Life decides to try this. She manages the blindfold ok and starts out... Whoops, she slips and falls into a small puddle. Breath takes her blindfold off and starts pouting when she realizes how close she'd been.. 5-10: Just when you almost reach the goal post, you misstep and land in a small puddle. The doe gives you something for your efforts (+1 token)

Steam had never done anything blind before - except maybe stumble around in pre-dawn as he tried to wake up! He decided to give the game a go, but unfortunately ended up stumbling into some water. Well, he'd done well enough, he supposed - it was kind of creepy trying to navigate without sight!

Light had watched the two other kin before him play this game without vision. they managed to succeed. but when it came to his turn to be in the total darkness without being able to see, he inched towards the direction where he thought the wooden post was jammed into the mud. He took another step forward and WHOOPS into the water he fell! Immediately he opened his eyes and saw that Sands wanted to help him dry up. but that was not needed. he shook his whole body and smiled at her. "I come back tomorrow." Already still damp from falling into the water once, Sweet decided to give another booth a try. This one didn't seem too bad, but his blindsight clearly wasn't what he thought it was; near the end he stumbled and tripped into the water again, rewetting his front legs. He got something for his trouble, but he wasn't really sure if it was worth it...

The Eye was already blind, but he didn't object to the blindfold.
He used, naturally, his memory of the course to get across, and eventually tapped his nose neatly against the wood at the end of the course.
"Thank you," he said. "It was...a journey." And it'd certainly enlighten kin who were less blind, no? You'd think they'd forgotten foalhood, sometimes.

Blindfolded? "O-Okay. Nothing's going to jump out and scare me, right?" Release Me nervously fidgets, having just come away from the Hallow Hunt, once again scared, but this time before she even got into the maze. She heaves a sigh and accepts the blindfold to start her wandering through the meadow... ...and wound up nearly making it the entire way! Unfortunately, near the end, she slipped into a small puddle and shook the blindfold free, caught between disappointment and surprise..! She smiles at the doe, who gave her a token for doing so well, then bows her head and trots away!

"Would you guide me?" giggled Crest.
She made it through anyway, and thanked the doe for the activity.

Crushed had an easy time with the game; after all, she spent a good amount of her time in the dark, so navigating blind wasn't too bad. She made sure to say a thank you anyway, once she completed the course!

Blindfolded just meant more adventure. Traveler was more than pleased to be able to try out the doe's challenge, standing quite still as the blindfold was placed.
As it turned out, he did surprisingly well. Quote: 11-19: You reach the goal post without any issues. She congratulates you on your efforts. (1+ token)

Do the thing? Lucky was sure he could do the thing! Just let him go! He would show them all how good he was at doing the thing! He accepted the blindfold and ended up bolting with a gleeful noise! Yes! See how good he was?

Quote: 5-10: Just when you almost reach the goal post, you misstep and land in a small puddle. The doe gives you something for your efforts (+1 token) Beaming brightly like a young foal born in spring, Light in the Ocean started Cautiously inching forward. Being in the dark surely was different than being in daylight. He had eyeballed the distance before his eyesight was temporarily obstructed and unable to be used. He thought he was almost near the finish, but as he took another step, his hoof went into a small puddle and he felt the coldness of it. "Aw, drat, i bet i was real close too." He opened his eyes quickly to see how far he was. sadly, he was just a meter or so away.

"Sounds straightforward. I'm in," said Forced Awake, nodding.
It was not nearly as straightforward as he'd thought - but he made it to the post eventually regardless, drenched. And token'ed.

Steam wasn't really sure why he'd thought this was a good idea; he was already fairly clumsy, after all. With a good soaking, he decided he definitely WASN'T going to try again.

Quote: 11-19: You reach the goal post without any issues. She congratulates you on your efforts. (1+ token) The next day, he had eyeballed his distance and walked acroos and past the water puddles with careful steps. When he thought he was about to step into something, he changed direction ever so slightly but still focused toward the goal post. he took another step and walked facefirst into the post! "Oh. AUW. I think i made it?" Opening his eyes again, he saw that the doe was smiling and he smiled in return. "Thank you."
