Xavier had been invited to come by Eilidh's hive once he was ready that following evening once they had all had a chance to enjoy the Jubliee festival. In his bag he had tucked away the mooncake he'd prepared for her, and a new surge of found confidence after his talk with Amonee. Xavier while still apprehensive and nervous to confess his feelings, he was at least better prepared than he had been.

Swallowing nervously he gently kicked up a few leaves as he moved through the Four Fronds towards the girls hive.

His lusus had decided to come with, she wanted to do a little bit of exploring and it was always nice seeing the sweet troll that had enamored her son's pump biscuit. While lazy and often half asleep, even the girls lusus was pleasant company.

The journey was a familiar one, he hd made this trip several times over the course of their friendship. Humming pleasantly as he walked along side his lusus, Xavier soon found the path leading to Eilidh's hive. The cave was huge, although the small entrance did not paint the illusion as such. Moving to knock, he waited as he glanced back at his Mum. "Are you sure..I should?" He'd told her all about what was going on, and for his worried expression she touched a clawed digit to his chin having him hold his head up as a final confirmation. Smiling brightly he fidgeted a bit while waiting.

Xavier was greeted by the site of his tealblooded friend Eilidh, and her welcoming hug. His arms wrapped around her, holding onto her tightly in return. Xavier smiled gently as he held her in his arms as he listened to her. The offer of food brought a nod of agreement. Letting go he followed her after his lusus settled herself in the cave in one of her favorite spots whilst visiting.

The jadeblood followed her into the nutrition block as he heard his own stomach grumble. "I am...thank you for thinking of it. Yuh know it smells great in here." He complimented. Xavier rubbed his neck softly as he looked at her. "I..made you something by the way. For after dinner." The taller troll quickly added sheepishly as his cheeks dotted with jade slightly as he leaned against one of her counters. He felt at home with her, be it in either hive they owned it was pleasant and warming.

Xavier felt himself swell with confidence as she seemed to be comfortable with him and extremely happy if anything. His pump biscuit beat faster than the time he'd given her a necklace. Xavier’s brows furrowed as he looked shyly at his feet.

"Okay fair." He agreed before taking of his hiking bag and placing it down. Quickly he produced the grey box with a red bow on it. The last one he had given out was pink. Xavier swallowed nervously as he handed her the boxed moon cake. "I..am not sure exactly where to begin.." The but in his tone was clear as he looked to her, nervous to see her response. Would she feel the same..? Xavier wasn't sure.

Xavier looked to her as she exchanged a box with him. He looked to her with a certain amount of surprise, and genuine humbled feelings of love, and appreciation for the troll before him. Her smile brought him comfort as he relaxed as she began to talk. "It is..isn't it?" He laughed sheepishly ever so slightly. Xavier looked at her grateful as she offered to start. Her gentle, but kind hearted spirit was so generous. His gloved hand moved over hers as she spoke, gently squeezing it in a loving manner. As they opened the small box his cheeks flushed the more she explained why he meant so much to her. "Before I met you, I thought I had to be alone in order to protect my lusus. I've learned through you it's okay to be worried sometimes..but to be brave enough to face each night, and day." He sat up a little taller, a well of emotion translating into translucent jade tears slowly sliding down his freckled cheeks.

"You make me feel safe..and happy. The world doesn't seem so scary when I have you in it..my red pity for you keeps growing..I.." He had to take in a slow shaking breath as he smiled then despite his emotions. He leaned in then, and instead of her cheek he kissed her lips gently, in a firm but intimate little lock of lips. The hand with the open fingers touched her face, gently cupping it. Xavier rest his forehead against hers.

"I love you too Eilidh..I have for a while. I'm glad I get to share more with you in this life." He confessed, as he looked to her with a patient and loving look. "I'd love to see what it leads to..." He murmured brushing his nose against hers.

Xavier wasn't sure how she'd feel about his kissing her, but he had gone with wat seemed right in the moment. His bold move earned her holding him. Sighing softly as she wiped away the tears that had found their way onto his face he looked to her. He could see it all so clear, in spite of everything that had happened. Everything was in time going to be okay. Even if it was one step at a time.

Her mention of being hungry earned a small laugh. "I am, thank you again. Yuh know I look forward to your cooking." He mentioned before admittedly he realized he hadn't investigated the mooncake. Sniffing softly as she mentioned another gift his brows furrowed. He hadn't brought her anything, although it wasn't like it was intended to show him up. "You didn't have to do this...but it's sweet of you." He murmured gratefully as he went to first take a small nibble off the mooncake she's made as he slipped over to the table taking a seat momentarily to open the second gift.

"I'll have to make you a little something as thanks." He mused thoughtfully as he carefully unwrapped the object with a curious look on his face as to what she had made. Finding the hat he tried it on, it fit nicely and would keep him warm when hiking. "Oh this is nice!" Xavier's eyes gleamed with appreciation.

Xavier carefully removed it glad she'd taken into consideration his large horns with the easy zipper to remove it as needed. He examined the button on it, his fingers rubbing over it as he smiled. "I still have the one I found, I'll have to get you to sew it on later." Xavier replied at the thought. "It was a nice evening with you...I enjoyed it..and look forward to more time with you." He expressed quietly, looking thoughtful at the memory.

Once she'd dished up food, he slipped out of his seat to get the each cups for water before returning to the table to dig in. Xavier's lusus even settled in grabbing a few of the fruits and berries to nibble on as she made a pleasant noise of agreement as she nudged at her troll son curiously. Did you two finally admit your fondness for the other dear? Congratulations! She expressed with a warm smile.

The jadeblood smiled as his lusus moved over. "Mum was wondering what you asked...I told her. She is glad to call you part of the family..!" He looked shyly down at his food as he took several bites, complimenting her skills in the kitchen with a warm 'mmm' That followed. Swallowing Xavier looked thoughtful. "That sounds amazing! You bake so well." Xavier noted with a serious little nod of his head, the idea of her working for the cafe sounded.

Xavier felt a weight off his chest he hadn't realized was there at her words. "I'm glad he does, Papa Bear is always welcomed just like you are." He replied, already eating a fair bit of his food, simply because it was so good. Looking up to his lusus, he spoke to her, the guttural clicks and noises they used to talk while brief seemed to be positive.

Anu carefully gathered herself up a plate, thanking Eilidh with a gently brush of her claws to fix her hair. She even grabbed Papa Bear a few things as she shuffled over to her usual spot and pushed the berries at the sleeping hibernation expert.

Once he'd taken a few more bites and swallowed properly the jadeblood sighed appreciatively. He quickly wiped his mouth off realizing he'd left a mess behind. Xavier looked to her with a flicker of sadness and concern to hear it hadn't gone well for her. "Sorry to hear it..." He set his fork down as he shifted to taking a brief sip of water. "Really well, it was mutual. We've both thought of the other as their moirail..it was nice to confess it." His cheeks lightly dusted with jade. "I wasn't sure about it..but you were right." She'd been one of the trolls supporting him after all.
