(For November's Full Moon)

Walls and walls of books and not a clue where to even begin. Every color, size, thickness and make appeared to lined the shelves of the library inside the Moon Kingdom’s forgotten castle. Phact could only stare at them and sigh.

Hands on her hips, the senshi stood back trying to remember where she had last dove into this maze of literature. With her recent plant findings, Phact had not been spending as much time in the library as she used to. Now, thanks to Kai and a promise, she was back in there wishing she had thought to try and put this in some sort of order.

“But what sort of order woman? It isn't like you know what half of these things are about.” stepping forward, she reached out a gloved hand and pulled a book off one of the higher selves. Flipping through it, Phact sighed and replaced it. “Maybe more than half.”

Deciding just to start with the self in front of her, Phact grabbed the first few books off the shelf and headed for one of the larger pillows.

Time seemed to crawl by but the stacks around her of books was ever growing. Somehow, she had even managed to balance a few and make what looked like a bridge over her. A little bit of fun never hurt anyone when they were getting frustrated.

She had managed to skim enough material now that she was really beginning to wonder if Kai’s idea was just a silly notion. Pages upon pages of symbols she could not read. Every now and then, she would find a few books with drawings and sketches. Those she would set aside to be placed on a separate shelf. They were things she wanted to go back and review. Things she could maybe one day use if the need ever came. Half the fun was guessing what the drawings were after all!

“Okay Kai. I know you are out there but I’m starting to wonder just how out there you are.” Phact sighed once more, closing the book she had just finished with and setting it aside. Uncurling from her nest, the senshi of doves made it to her feet, stretching as she walked towards the next shelf. Mid-stretch, her heel caught. A book had slid when she moved and forward she went.

“Whoa!” She cried out, slamming into the shelf in front of her. Without a warning, several volumes above used that movement to dislodge and come dropping down. “AH!” Phact cried out, covering her head and dropping down as they fell to her feet. Some opened, most just clicked and shot up dust. Then all was quiet.

Opening her eyes, she looked at the mess and sighed. “Well, that’s one way to pick who is next….” And with a hand out stretched, she reached towards the open book closest to her and frozen.

There, staring her straight in the face, was what she had been believing she would never find.
Grabbing the edge of the book with her hand, Phact slipped onto her behind right there in the floor and began flipping. Images began appearing in the book. Groups of people gathering around each other doing...something?

But there were three images that stopped her could. One right after another as she turned the pages.

The first was disheartening. Seeing it, she almost stopped in her tracks. A group of what to be about five or six stood around someone in the middle. All of them were robbed but the figure in the center whose back was to them. However, Phact could make of something that seemed like a royal crystal above her head. The other thing she could make out was that every person in the circle wore…”Chains?” She exhaled, shaking her head at what she saw. They were prisoners who extended their hands towards the center woman. But the clearest message was the look of hatred on the single face she could see.

Scanning the rest of the page, she couldn’t gather much info.

The second though showed more another, different image. The same female form in the center but now she was surrounded by people dressed like her. Some looked towards her as if she was loved, others seemed….bored?

But it was the third that was most telling. Unlike the others, in this image, everyone wore different colors. They had different forms and all gazed at the center with a smile. This time, the center figure still lifeless but the area around her seemed to be a different color. Almost as if…”She’s glowing?”

Phact couldn’t believe her eyes. Flipping through the three images, there was no mistaking it. The female form was glowing being surrounded by people who extended their arms to her.

“Well I’ll be damn…” Phact chuckled, nearly laughing as she leaned back against the bookcase. “Maybe he isn’t so crazy after all.”
