Hair wild, a steely calm descends upon Albatross' eyes. With a garland of sticky sapped poinsettias and holly leaves decorating the orbital mass of her hair, the doe is in fine festive spirits. And what a bounty she brings to the celebration! Albatross works hard throughout the year to make sure all the good little does and bucks are rewarded for their good cheer. This time, the booth is a little further off the beaten path and overlooks the bank of a riverbed and a series of rapids right before a waterfall. Left of the booth is a set of purposefully colored boulders nestled in the water approximately 5, 10, 15, 25 and all the way to 40 meters away at increments of 5.

And centered at the booth is the very merry Albatross to explain the rules:

"I've rounded up some furbies and my how buoyant they are. I've also dyed them various fetching shades of green with my marvelous foresight and dedication to the holiday season. Using the materials provided (and there are many to delight even the most resourceful souls), arrange the dyed furbies into wreaths and decorate them with any theme you like. Add flowers, holiday nuts or sprinkle them with blood, gristle or perfumed petals. Best of show will receive a prize (box or bag).

And for the second element of the booth, the doe or buck artist will then hurl their furbies wreath into the river. Where the wreath first lands is the score. To accomplish this, roll 2 20-sided dices via post action when you post the description of your kin-made furbies wreath, the user with the highest sum wins. "

There will be a a prize given for the best wreath and furthest distance travelled for said wreath. A box and bag to be won! Additionally, each participant will gain 3-5 tokens for their entry depending on artistic merit. Do your best. You can only enter once.

This booth will open the 24th - 26th of December.

Cursed Crescent was quite concerned with the safety of the little green died creatures, even if they seemed cheerful and bounding about and endlessly chattering.

Taking time to weave strong wood into a wreath, and attaching shed antlers. Remembering his lessons with Courtesy, he added Holly for Foresight and Defense, and Lace of the Swamp for shelter, praying that all those things together would keep the thing afloat!

With his practice at the Fetch! booth, he arcs the squealing Furbie almost to the 30 stone! Nodding pleased, he trotted off to rescue the sodden thing from the river and stones.

Corrosive was not familiar with furbys, the small fluffed creatures were ugly and seem useless. Albatross seemed to feel the same. She looked over the small green dyed creatures and hummed before nodding. She found willow branches and forced them together as best as she could and rubbed them with sticky pine sap. She garnished with holy, mistletoe and some other various poisonous plants. Nightshade and foxglove. Lovely and maybe they will nibble on it.

She made sure the furby were caught in the branches before tossing it away into the river. That was better then she thought it would be.

Perhaps it was because she had a furby of her own, that their... unsettling nature was fading on her. Anything Goes was somewhat cute, once you got to know them.

Either way, she was more than excited to get crafty for the celebration. She gathered some pine and bush needles, weaving them together with some red-berried sticks. After some hours of grueling work, Something More had a wonderful, fluffy creation. The furbys now could nestle into the thick foliage, and have a wonderful little boat ride in the water. The idea made the doe laugh to herself, but when she finally went to gather the creatures, she found their brilliant green coats covered in caked brown mud.

The acha panicked for a moment, then dwelled on the idea. She could make this work! Her own furby was a wonderful lovely brown. If the others didn't think that was lovely, too, then they were wrong. Nestling the furbies into their thick pine nest, Something More was delighted. "Just like pinecones!" she shouted, excited by such a happy accident.

After showing it off to the others, she took her turn throwing the ring into the river. Throwing it with all her strength, she was alarmed to see a few furbies fly off as the wreath spun through the air. When she took her eyes off the flyaway furbies, she was strangely delighted to find that her wreath had made it quite far in the river. Now she understood this strange game. It was just so much fun!

Ace had never seen such scary monstrosities, he was scared of them. the noises they make were not pleasant to him at all. And when the host told him that they have dyed them green, he couldn't find any. all he saw were strange and multicoloured ones running around like chicken without heads!

He couldn't stand them anymore and pressed a few into the sticky sap to 'glue' them together. He grunted a few times in frustration as he chased after more of them. but in the end, he managed to make a wreath out of these furbies. the sticky sap held them quite good together.

He walked towards the edge of the lake where other kin were already standing and throwing their creations. Ace took a massive swing, tossing the string of furbies into the water. Buoyant or not, he could care less, as long as they stayed out of his sight (for good).

Furbies.

What odd, strange little creatures, Melt thought, tilting his head this way and that as he examined the one he was working with, its distant-staring eyes looking more through him than at him. He didn't at all mind the 'game' - experiment? - he was currently taking part in, in truth finding the critters rather unnerving. He would be more than happy to help be rid of them, even if throwing them in the river was, perhaps, a bit cruel.

Or was it? The buck wasn't sure; did they float? Could they swim? If they sank, would they even drown?

The acha grimaced slightly as he grabbed one by the ear, finding the taste of its fur unpleasant as he settled it firmly onto a glob of hardening clay. It barely responded, and he was quite certain he was not regretful of 'playing.' The fewer of these things that were near him, the better. Melt had been working for several hours to bring his vision to life, and in that time he'd flip flopped several times on his stance towards furbies. Looking at the completed thing, however, he was assured - he did not like them, and he would be happy to see them go.

His wreath was more egg-shaped than circular, formed out of twigs and dry grasses he'd carefully packed into a shaped trench he'd dug into the ground. Into this he'd poured water - carried from the river in a turtle shell, leaving his mouth absolutely freezing, thank you - and which had, over the course of his time working, gradually frozen into a solid shape of ice. Into this he'd stuck several strategically placed clumps of holly and frozen moss, creating an alternating pattern of prickly green and soft mounds; on the moss mounds, he'd glopped freshly dug clay, onto which he set a total of three furbies. He doubted he would be able to toss them very well if he put more, and honestly - that was more than enough for him. Around the edges of the whole thing he'd used freezing water and more of the clay to attach white blossoms, nicely tying it all together with a delicate halo; as a final touch, he even deigned to soak his tail - cold as it was - and shake the offending liquid over the whole thing. In the cold air the droplets quickly froze, creating a glittery effect when the light struck it.

The whole thing was rather nice, in his opinion - apart from the furbies, anyway. The ice made a beautiful, crystalline sheen around the tangled grasses and twigs, and the bright green and red of the holly was - well, at least it distracted from the stare of the creepy little things, right?

Melt grunted as he began the work of wedging his ice-sculpture-wreath out of the ground. What a waste of good artistry - but it was for a good cause.
