Joy had to admit, the one great thing about Deus' travel system was that there was no ******** customs issue. No BIR or NBI to deal with. No a*****e custom officials trying to inspect your bag and steal the awesome stuff you bought as pasalubongs. Admittedly, Joy could have gone anywhere in the world (that had a Deus portal connected to it) but she couldn't help herself.
She ended up going back home. Well not to her actual home and not to places her friends and family frequented. But still. Her home country. And the gifts she bought? Ahahaha, oh people Joy considered as friends, she hoped you had an open mind regarding food. Because with the ridiculous exchange rate, she could afford to splurge big time.
She only hoped they didn't have any food allergy. And she also hoped there was a way to give gifts to Halloweeners...
October hardly knew anyone at all on the island, save for a select few. But recent events - as well as a strong desire to have a chance to nap after he was actually productive - had October doing things, for once in his life. He could be found one evening sitting cross-legged on the floor of his dormitory, surrounded by a wad of newspapers, squares of sample wrapping paper, tape, and scissors.
It took him a good two hours to wrap the two gifts he had gotten, but he finally finished. It was a lot of effort.

Kimberly only had the one person to buy a gift for, no one really knew her, and she didn't really know anyone, so it didn't take long for her to get Ace his gift of a plush toy cat with a scythe for a tail. She then sighed and sat outside of a store wondering what else to do. With no idea at all, she randomly walked into stores, bought strange and weird items with no purpose and just decided to leave them at the doors of any living even remotely near where her room in the dungeon was.
She got Otto a nice gift of a new cellphone case and made a point of sending him a selfie with her holding the wrapped gift.

Being on the island, a part of Deus, had had a strange effect on one Ezekiel Young. He'd gone from being an over all amicable, though distant person, to forming bonds with a number of individuals that had managed to worm their way into his life and beneath his skin. It wasn't a very large number, but all the same, it was still rather odd, given the way the man operated before signing on with the hunters.

He'd had to carefully, very carefully remove whatever earrings she'd been wearing, and then replace them with a new set, shaped like little, bitey sharks.

Like the year before, Peyton didn't have many folks to give gifts to this year. A handful, those precious few that had come into, or stayed in her life throughout the last year. It was a little sobering, though she had to admit, it was considerably lighter on her wallet(not that that really mattered).

Despite all expectations to the contrary, Andy had managed to muscle his way into the petite blonde's affections, and stayed there. She had expected him to run for the hills when he'd gotten a more intimate peak into her screwed up mind, but he hadn't. He'd stayed, and he'd become incredibly important to her.
There was a small mountain of gifts for the younger Miller sibling. A new hoodie, some colorful pairs of socks displaying various Marvel characters, some home made cinnamon candy in a mason jar.
The last gift he'd find later. Fresh ink, beneath the constellation of Ursa Major on the back of her neck. Nothing terribly large, or obvious. Just five little words, 'Second star to the right', and the small addition of another star within the constellation itself.

Liam enjoyed Christmas a great deal, though had never considered himself very good at picking out gifts. He tied for meaningful, but wasn't sure if he every managed to achieve it. That didn't keep him from trying, though.

For lovely Harper, who was still with him by some lucky twist of fate, would find a pair of teal reindeer leggings wrapped(poorly), and waiting for her on her desk. There was also a bag of Sour Patch Kids, a bag of tropical Skittles, and a bag of Starburst. Because who didn't love candy?

He'd gotten her a mug last year, but could you every really have too many? Maybe he'd just make it a ]tradition.

For Harvard, a new mug would turn up on his desk with a little bow on it, and a candy bar inside.
Even had left the headquarter for quite a while, the petite Asian would come back quietly whenever it's someone's birthday or festivals to celebrate, like valentines, mid-autumn, easter and so on. Every sesonal festivals, people would find little stuffs in front of their room or seat. In her heart, she still wanted everyone she knew could gain a smile every day, especially on special days.
That was why, some people got a present at their door. Mimi would find a tag in baby blue color, edged like small unknown flowers.

On top of Shu's box was another small box, size which suggested it shall be an accessory. A card instead of a tag was attached there with black hand-writing. Ace had saved up to get some small gifts for certain people, another year had passed.
His time on the island and in exciting missions had enriched his boring life, life-threatening aside. As an orphan, he didn't know how family should feel like yet he was lucky to meet many people that kindly shared their concept of love with him, they came and went away. Ace never ask them to stay, inside, he was that aloof.
After joining Deus, he inevitably created links with others, colleague, friend or whatever definition it could be. He was still learning though.

The petite Asian always had a complicated feeling towards the Morris, she felt loved but at the same time scared. That bitter-sweet emotion stirred inside her all the time. Certainly she would get jealous sometimes but she wasn't allowed to ask for more. That might be why she never accept their kind invitation to move in with them.
Still, they meant too much for her life. When they were out, she sneaked in their garden, left something for them. She carefully picked up some snows to make her footsteps vanished. On the written notes, there was no sender's sign. When they came back, their door was stuck with wrapped boxes and bags that they had to move aside before they could get in.
Nothing Yet
Mimsy was always her favourite, and she never stop buying things that reminded her of the Life huntress during shopping. Some of which she never give her. On the day of Christmas, they arrived as a package.
The first Mimsy could notice that tower of boxes easily since there was a big "FRAGILE" red label on it. If she shook it lightly, it gave light crispy noises. Besides the red label, there was a note saying Read Me.
Flipped over, she would find a message for her:

Box after box, a square box was waiting for him to open. This time it was a dino! Apparently no shops would sell something like that, so it was suggested hand-made. Last but not least, there was a big bag of something, soft in touch. A bear shaped card read the following:

It had been a long time since she last checked on them, it was awful to have a sense of possession over her best friend when she encouraged that to begin with. Yet, it didn't stop the warmth when she saw they got along so well, intimate in her own words.

A note that didn't include any name wrote: Mimi, I think it's a nice thing for girls to have. It helps to give moisture to your skin since this winter is quite dry. Not edible though it smells nice. The sugar scrubs should last for three months, I wish you have a lovely holiday! heart

Milo got something similar, but in the jar were sugar cubes that had a baby orange color. "Hi knight, there's a little gift for you. It's not edible sugar, they're used to exfoliate skin to give a smooth fresh feel. Besides, the essential oils added in them have a relaxing and calming effect. I think a Sun hunter like you would have accumulated quite a lot of pressures, hopefully this helps a little bit."
