The day had finally arrived. It felt like ages since he had come to the academy...and now he was about to graduate. It was almost bittersweet. He had so many memories at the school, it was where he had met the loves of his life...it was an odd mix of emotions that he was feeling right now. Now wasn't the time to dwell on the past, though. This day was all about the future, what university did he want to go to? What did he want to study?
That answer was simple. He wanted nothing more than to work with books. Maybe he could be a literature teacher at the academy? No...that wouldn't work. Esrael was never the type of person that could stand in front of a classroom of people to speak so being a teacher would eat away at the small amount of nerves he had managed to build up.
Working at a library was always an option. The Fallen was never more comfortable than when he was surrounded by that many books. He could even maybe start his own library...! As much as he loved that thought there was one other thing that really piqued his interest and that was restoring old books. Books that had so much story behind them, the books that had writings of things that people never knew existed.
That's what he really wanted to do. So it was decided. Grendel would be the university that he'd go to. He took one more look around the academy grounds and smiled, it was time to start a new chapter of his life and as scary as it was...he couldn't be happier.
