When both trolls are seated and the game's headset is in place, a large GameBro logo appears, and a warning page appears. The fine text scrolls past too fast to read and soon a character creation screen appears. Players can choose from a selection of medieval weapons; swords, shields, spears, bow and arrows, and plenty more. As soon as you've finalized your character a voice instructs each player on basic game mechanics and lets them practice. A countdown begins, and at the end your teleported to a large arena, only one other troll in sight.


Each turn roll 2D6, the first dice, hit accuracy hits on a 3-6.
If the first dice is a hit it deals the 2nd D6 of damage.

Chiara raised an eyebrow at this new challenger. A tealblood she had never seen before, curious, and one that didn't talk. But Chiara was never one to turn down a beautiful woman. "Well hello." Chiara said, grinning at the new tealblood. All these other trolls had been ones she had already known, boring. Here was a new player, and a cute one. Chiara decided to try her luck. "Wanna add a wager? I get a kiss if i win, you get a favor should you win." Chiara's grin grew hungry. Either way it was a win win for the blueblood.

Milieu picked her weapon with ease, settling on the familiar daggers. Virtual they might be, but it felt good in her hands. Her blood pusher pumped harder and harder as excitement built. Fighting was good, a natural troll talent and pastime. Being a middle blood meant that her skills were not nearly as prominent as a higher blood, but still well refined.

Her opponent was a blueblood, which meant this woul -- wait.

What?

Milieu was stunned into rapidly blinking at the booth owner. A kiss? Well... The last time she had kissed a blueblood it hadn't ended well.... Or. Had she ever kissed a blue blood? A faint twinge of pain throbbed in her temple. Take the wager or don't...

Grinning, Mili nodded her ascent and lunged forward. Quick on her feet, Milieu landed an easy blow, but kept it light. No need to get serious so quickly! They were going to have fun.

Chiara put more time than usual into her character customization. She had to impress this time, might as well make it count. This troll was interesting... She had an adorable little birthmark that painfully reminded Chiara of Eridia. She would have to ask about it later...

Chiara was strongly considering cheating... but that would just take away from the prize. Tho she still hadn't gotten to press her big, red, mysterious "gm" button. No, she would see how things were going before she really decided to tip the scales. The tealblood came is softly, and Chiara grinned. So cute, this girl really did want kissed, didn't she? Well Chiara was fine with that, she stabbed her opponent with her sword.

So much for a small battle. The stab stung - was it supposed to? Was virtual reality this good? Milieu wasn't sure how to interpret the sudden blow.

Well, if the blueblood wanted to actually fight, then who was Milieu to deny her wishes? She rushed in and made a feint to Chiara's right before stabbing quickly to the left.

Chiara felt the blow. Now the tealblood was serious. The blueblood grinned and spit out a wad of blue blood. This game was too realistic, she had managed to bite her tong when surprised by the girl's attack. It was fine tho, she was a troll, a race of violent, conquering warriors. "Well your just on fire? Arnt you?" Chiara planted her feet and made to swing in another attack.

The slash was strong, sliding across her front with ease. This troll was good. A seasoned fighter? Excitement surged through her veins as she grinned at her opponent. Nothing like a good fight to get you in a good mood!

Her exuberance blinded her movements. Chiara's swing had left an advantage for the tealblood, but when Milieu moved to take advantage of it, she stumbled. Crap. Immediately dark teal stained her cheeks as she backpeddled as fast as she could.

Chiara's eyes lit up when she spotted her opponut's grin. The blueblood moved to thrust a jab, but this tealblood was tricksy. As Chiara brought her weapon in, the other girl managed move faster than her sword. Blinking in surprise Chiara's attack went off target.

Avoiding the blow was better than not. Taking a gulp of air, the tealblood shifted from foot to foot. Sweat (Virtual? Real?) clung to her brow.

She moved in and realized that it was real. Immediately her eye stung, making her stumble once more as she rubbed at it furiously through the goggles. Crap!

The tealblood stuttered, or seemed to be distracted for a second. Chiara looked uncertain. If her opponent wasn't paying attention, well it wasn't much of a victory or a prize. Already halfway through her attack, Chiara tried to let up, give the tealblood a moment to catch her thoughts.

The blow was light, indicating that the blueblood had let up. Once the pain in her eye left, Milieu was able to properly nod her thanks to her opponent. It seemed that the troll was a very honorable fighter. Milieu would have to thank her properly later.

Milieu moved in and stabbed at the blueblood, though it was definitely a shallow cut. Was her sight depth off from the earlier obstruction?

Chiara tried to hold back until the other troll was re-oriented, but it was hard. When the tealblood girl came in and drew blood, the blueblood instinctively swung back. "Um, You okay?" Chiara asked, maybe her GameBro was messing up.
