[BATT] GameBro - Zindel v Chiara

When both trolls are seated and the game's headset is in place, a large GameBro logo appears, and a warning page appears. The fine text scrolls past too fast to read and soon a character creation screen appears. Players can choose from a selection of medieval weapons; swords, shields, spears, bow and arrows, and plenty more. As soon as you've finalized your character a voice instructs each player on basic game mechanics and lets them practice. A countdown begins, and at the end your teleported to a large arena, only one other troll in sight.


Each turn roll 2D6, the first dice, hit accuracy hits on a 3-6.
If the first dice is a hit it deals the 2nd D6 of damage.

Zindel wanted to fight?! Then Chiara would bring it on. Sure the blueblood had admitted that she thought of the redblood as a peer, but any chance to rub her greatness in someone's face, especially someone who was growing a bit too cocky, was a great chance. Besides, if worse came to worse, there was always a bright shiny red button that would "even" the playing field. As soon as the redblood zoned in Chiara ran for him, swinging in to attack.

Zindel was caught off guard the moment he pixeled in, breath swept right out of his body as the sword she used knocked him to his feet. Zindel groaned immediately, falling to the ground and clenching his side, the ghost pain making his side clench. Zindel pulled out several daggers, flinging them at the teen and missing but attempting to use them as some sort of a distraction-- Not really to do damage. Chiara was on a roll! It was a little unfair, considering she had played this before and knew the controls, but it was also fun. Her shield battered away any attempt the redblood made at an attack, and she came in, hitting hard.

Chiara was either angry at him or torturing him. Zindel was once more slammed on the side, releasing a loud, in game yelp as he was shoved out of the way. Her sword was sharp and well made, and it honestly worried Zindel, like he'd feel the pain in real life. He jumped backward and grabbed more daggers, flinging them back at Chiara, this time with the intent to hurt.

Chiara laughed as Zindel exclaimed, and brought up her shield to hit a few of the projectiles away. "Whaat? Zindel! Your a fighter! Its how you make a living! You better do better than this" As soon as the words left the blueblood's mouth a dagger or two lodged themselves in her arm. Rude. She was evil villain monologue-ing here!

Zindel sputtered as he avoided a hard hit, jumping out of the way in panic. "Chi–ARA, you know better than—" He avoided a narrow swipe with a carefully, spontaneously timed backflip; "—anyone that it's Dance Battles and that the first word in it goes Dance!" He complained, swiping at her shoulder and wrenching back with a panicky expression.

"Didn't a famous commander say that battle itself is a dance?" Chiara lunged forward, leaving herself open but managing to score a hit on her opponent. "No that doesn't sound right. Since when is a troll commander elegant?!" The Blueblood tried to pull back quickly, to cover her flank. The troll spit, a splat of blue blood now on the ground.

Chiara just wouldn't let up. She chased after him relentlessly, slamming a hit on his leg, leaving Zindel to slam face first into another tree. He struggled to his feet, wiping the blood dripping from his chin. Man, the design in this game was really lifelike... It almost felt like he was actually fighting her. "It's not a dance I'm used to doing," He huffed, grabbing a dagger from his hip and throwing it at her loosely. He quickly limped away, leg feeling a little harder to move after that direct hit. "And I'm not a commander!" He could never be one, why would she even...??

Chiara snorted. Since when did anyone need to be a commander to fight? "Oh Zindel!" Chiara had jumped back, giving herself room to give off an actual evil villain spiel. "Put your back into it! Treat it as if it is a dance then! We do have an audience." Chiara turned and winked at where she knew the camera for the screen outside the game was located.

Zindel limped backward, using the tree as a miniature break point. He and Chiara were at a standstill at the moment, her finding her own words more important-- Wait, what?! His face immediately went red out of embarrassment, both in real life and in game, feeling incredibly exposed. "A-are you <******** kidding me!?" He asked incredulously, voice cracking half way through-- This would ruin any image he'd been working for! He looked like such a wimp now! What the hell?! "s**t, Chiara, you could warn someone before you ruin whatever they're working for!" Okay, maybe he was over-reacting, but he didn't want to be known as a wimp to the trolls who didn't even know him! (He was a wimp anyways, but what they didn't know couldn't hurt them!)

Chiara rolled her eyes. "Its a game Zindel! Lighten up!" Chiara took her shield and tried to throw it at her opponent. "I mean look at this." With that Chiara pushed a button and another shield materialized back onto her arm. "Now that would be a cool power."

"I've only got bad memories of anything related to games," Zindel said grumpily, remembering Guo and the torment he was put through as a kid. Then he remembered the recent battle with Cerpin, a small smile spreading across his face. "Well, mostly." He just barely dodged the shield as it launched at him, bending backward as it soared right past him. His hands felt a lot more humid than before. "You talk like you have one," He commented, looking at the shield before watching it disintegrate into the skies. He looked back at Chiara, pulling out a dagger from his sleeves and throwing it at the other in an attempt to somehow hit her. His eyebrow raised. "Do you?" He wasn't sure she did, and if she did she probably wouldn't tell him. She'd use it for one of her schemes. Or something malevolent, he was sure.

Chiara raised an eyebrow at Zindel, a crafty smile working its way onto her face. "I don't know Zindel, do i?" She looked down at the dagger in her character's arm. "I mean, your probably the troll that knows me best out of anyone." The blueblood pulled out the weapon, digital blue blood running down her arm. "Do i have a power, Zindel?" Chiara asked him, as she strode towards him, powerful confident strides, her smile growing more predatory.
