20/20 HP Damage done: 1 Avatars, skills, weapons, that stuff wasn't super important to Cerpin in a virtual reality. He just needed a sword and he was ready to go. Strapping into the equipment hooked up to the chair, the purpleblood grinned at Zindel. Clearly Cerpin was a highly competitive troll.
Plus, the redblood was pretty cute. The sheer pants thing was definitely a flirty choice and so Cerpin mistakenly thought the redblood to be some kind of fellow playboy. If he won, maybe he'd force the other guy to go out to eat with him after this. Somehow, the rockstar didn't think many trolls would turn down the offer for free food.
"Get ready, here I come!" Charging at Zindel, he raised his weapon to scare the other dancer before spinning behind him and lessening the blow to whack him on the butt playfully. Would the other troll be the kind to flirt back or sputter in embarrassment? Either way was entertaining to the purpleblood!quite uneventful Didn't know what else to make a 1 dmg, sorry and good luck, Zindel!

As they both pixeled into existance, the redblood stumbled some before staring at his hands and the choice of weapons they could pick from. Swords, maces, arrows... None of this was really his type of weapon. Maybe if he... He looked around more, feeling strange and extracorporeal-- He wasn't really doing this, it was all in their heads, right? It... wasn't real. Zindel breathed, feeling calmer than usual. This was okay.
Spotting a familiar dagger infront of him, he snatched it up, the comfortable weight feeling nice in his palm. He was ready.
When the battle began and the other ran at him, Zindel froze up, feeling his arms lock and his feet tense. He wasn't really comfortable, but the moment he twirled and smacked his butt, Zindel loosened up and merely laughed. Alright, so he was one of those highbloods. Zindel twirled his weapon, dashing up close with a burst of speed before stopping right in front of the slightly shorter purpleblood, and pressing his knife onto his neck. Zindel's lips curled into a mischievous smirk before his dagger nicked his neck a little, no blood coming out-- Merely pixels in the place of blood. "Looks like you need to ready up, Shiny," He murmured, voice low, releasing a soft chuckle before zipping backward. He might lose the battle, but hell if he couldn't make it fun with a highblood that seemed friendly enough.

18/20 HP Damage done: 0 A dagger cut at his neck and Cerpin let out a laugh at how surprised Zindel had gotten him. The redblood moved extremely well and the purpleblood was impressed at how quick he'd gotten close and retreated. He supposed lowbloods had to learn to be good at fighting or they got beaten down pretty fast. Tevini was a great example of this.
"Get back here, puff pants!" He raised his sword and charged again, trying to aim at the other boy's midsection where it would be harder to dodge. The closer he got though, the more distracted Cerpin got by the pretty shiny silver things dangling all around Zindel's waist. They were very attention-grabbing and he-
Missed Zindel sidestepping him and barreled straight into the pixeled scenery around them. Ugh, screw these stupid virtual shrubs and trees. Staggering to his feet, Cerpin tried to brush some of the pixelated greenery off of his nice leather jacket. It was just virtual reality yeah but he still wanted to look good, even if it wasn't real!
After all, he'd barely heard it but the other boy had a nice laugh...

Zindel merely snickered at the nickname. "Puff pants?" He called back in question-- Sure, he'd picked a rogue, and the pants happened to be puffy like the ones he wore when preforming, but that much of an impressive nickname. Neither was Shiny, he supposed. He continued to make his way to the nearby trees, using the background to his advantage-- He hid among the trees easily. He peeked over at the purpleblood, grip tight on his dagger. "You're gonna have to do better than that, Shiny!" He called out, releasing a soft chuckle toward the end. He twirled the dagger before aiming it and-- Missed. Damnit, he'd been right there! Clicking his tongue at his seemingly terrible aim, Zindel quickly moved from behind one tree to the next, feeling a little elated, a little more... Free.

18/20 HP Damage done: absolutely none "That's not all I got! You-" Hmm, maybe it was kind of a weak nickname. It didn't pack the same playfulness that Shiny did. Cerpin paused to think this over for a moment. Zindel barely missed him and he yelped, stepping backwards quickly to put some distance between them. It was a move Keionx had scolded him to practice as he had a tendency to take too many direct hits that he ought to avoid.
The redblood slipped from tree to tree for some cover but Cerpin wasn't going to let his target get away so easy. Following the rogue's movements, the rockstar tried to predict where the other boy would go next and cut him off. This time, he'd throw Zindel off guard instead of stumbling around himself.
It worked a little too well and the two collided, Cerpin crashing down beneath Zindel. He looked up into the other's eyes with a smug smirk and something mischievous in his eyes. This development was not unwelcome.
"Switching games, eh? I don't mind if you don't, Spicy." A voice murmured into Zindel's ear as Cerpin grabbed onto the redblood's shirt in an attempt to hold the guy in place. Otherwise, he was too ******** fast at running away!

He really had almost hit him— s**t, he really needed to practice his aim more. If Etsali were around, he could've asked her, but... He tried not to think of such thoughts. He missed them, but he couldn't allow himself to dwell on them. So he moved on.
...Zindel was definitely not used to such skinship right after meeting. Their collision was definitely enough to startle Zindel out of his smooth demeanor, making him release a wimpy groan of confusion and flail until they rolled into their current position. He blinked down at Cerpin, finding his face not entirely terrible to stare at despite the purple of his blood. It felt so strange and foreign but not uncomfortable, almost fun, really. They were teasing each other and Zindel found it extremely entertaining.
An eyebrow raised out of slight interest, a chuckle bubbling from his mouth at his new nickname. "That's better." He murmured lowlike before leaning in closer, showing him two can play at that game. He then suddenly wrenched away, shirt tearing but uncaring as he lobbed quite a few daggers back at him and gave him a mischievous grin. "Maybe later," He commented, "When we're not supposed to be fighting each other." He gave the other a lopsided grin, twirling a dagger in his hand and chuckling.

15/20 HP Damage done: 4 The other boy returned a grin as wicked as his own before dancing backwards out of reach. Daggers pierced his arms as Cerpin raised them to shield his face. It was just a virtual game but he still had to remember his teachings or he'd unlearn everything he was supposed to be practicing. Hopping to his feet, he fell into a suddenly serious and sturdy stance, sword in hand.
"Well let's hurry up and finish this then!" He couldn't wait to claim his prize after this. Cerpin was not walking away from this guy empty handed, so to speak. Charging after Zindel, the purpleblood did his best to keep up with the quick-footed rogue, attacking with a series of predictable strikes. It was after a few rounds of this that he body slammed the other guy into one of the trees in the pixelated arena, intending to stab his sword through him to pin him to the tree in a violent and painful manner.
He faltered before he could, however, the red of Zindel's clothing triggering memories of a frightened redblood cowering in the tunnels as weapons raged around her. His pump biscuit tightened and he stepped backwards instead, uncomfortably trying to regain his composure. Not now, he needed to get his head screwed back on.
"Hey, if I win this, you have to kiss me, got it?" Flirting was easier than fighting at the moment and Cerpin put on his cocky and sly face once more. He did better when he had a goal and there wasn't much that could top stealing a little affection from the rogue-ish dancer with those distracting hips.
He watched Zindel with an intensity that could only be described as predatory.

The purpleblood seemed eager to finish it already, when they'd just started the battle. "Someone's a little eager." He wasn't complaining-- The money called to him, and even if he lost, he was sure with enough prodding he'd be able to get him as a sponsor of some sorts. Or just... A very wealthy friend. His hits, while predictable, were heavy and hard, something he could avoid unless he misstepped. While Zindel was fleet footed, he couldn't avoid every single hit, getting whacked in the side hard enough to knock the breath right out of him.
There'd been a second where the other hesitated, and Zindel took that moment to scramble away. Panting hard and shuffling behind a tree at Cerpin's call out, he immediately felt the sides of his face redden out of embarrassment. He grabbed one of his daggers off the ground, twirling it in his hand before jumping out of cover and flinging it directly at the purpleblood. "If you win," Zindel repeated, "I'll consider it." Zindel winked at him.

13/20 HP Damage done: 5 A dagger whizzed at him and Cerpin's training kicked in, reaching up to grab it. The cold metal cut into his hand and pixels spilled out of it. His eyes met Zindel's with a sly amusement twinkling in them.
"Guess I better ******** win, then." He closed an eye and squinted, aiming at the other boy. He could do this. Cerpin had seen her do this before, a quick flick of the wrist and a knife wedged into the side of her lookout post. He just had to mimic the gesture. Probably should've taken her up on that lesson when she'd offered it.
A sharp movement and the dagger flew through the air, stabbing through the other boy's thigh.
"Bullseye." Cerpin taunted, firing his fingers like a gun.quite uneventful Apparently Cerpin only gets serious and does damage if he might get some lovin' out of it. lol

"Keep telling yourself that, Shiny!" Was he trying to aim? He didn't seem very good at precision fighting, more hack and slash, but Zindel wasn't going to give him the benefit of doubt. He stayed tense, choosing to run now-- A seemingly large mistake on his part, his own dagger slamming into his thigh and crippling him down. He could feel his HP go down by a lot in one hit. Zindel winced, looking at the purpleblood-- His taunt made his smile shrivel into a tenser one, smile showing some of his teeth now. Until now he'd been trying to avoid any serious injury, but maybe he wanted him to get serious. Pulling out the dagger in his thigh and strapping it to his hip, Zindel stood up, trying to shake off the ghost pain on his leg. Playing with a dagger on his knuckles, Zindel flung it at Cerpin-- But only as a distraction. The other three he snatched from the ground were aimed at more critical body parts, like the wrist, the knee, and neck. He wasn't sure they'd hit, but at least his aim wasn't completely s**t. An innocent smile spread across his face. "Gotcha." Zindel taunted right back, feeling less afraid and more... Playful, somehow. Maybe it was because this wasn't an actual fight. If he'd actually been hit in the thigh, he would've been freaking out, crying maybe. But this felt... "Maybe you should learn not to suck." Zindel had never taunted someone like this before. Goading another troll into fighting him was never a good thing, but in this case, it was what he was supposed to do. "Or maybe that's all you're good for." Was that too harsh? Maybe he was letting this get to his head.
HP: 15 - 5 = 10
Yamashii honestly zindel never ******** hits so he's taking full advantage of this 6 to flirt + hurt + burn

7/20 HP Damage done: 6 Daggers stabbed through him and Cerpin let out a groan of pain followed by a hiss as he tried to move. It was nowhere near as painful as the injury would've been in reality but the game had simulated a feeling of pressure and throb of pain to keep the players alert. He tugged a blade out of his wrist only for pixels to spill out of him at a quicker rate. Fine, he'd leave the others in to keep the wounds plugged.
"I mean, I could show you if you want." He licked his lips, seemingly pleased at the idea others might find him sexually skilled. Zindel taunted him from a distance and the purpleblood followed the other boy's voice. All this sneaking around and hiding made it difficult for him to find the damn guy which was to the redblood's advantage. Cerpin was not going to let him have it anymore. He pushed through the shrubs and scenery, charging after Zindel when he could see him.
"Though- for that we'll have to get a bit closer!" Grabbing at the back of Zindel's vest, he yanked hard to surprise the other guy and stabbed his sword at the dancer's midsection from the back. It was more forceful than he'd intended but at least it was just a game. Two for the price of one, really. He leaned to whisper in the redblood's ear.
"You're pretty good at taking it from behind, huh?" The warm red flush that spread across Zindel's cheeks made any painful retaliation in response worth it.quite uneventful i am so sorry, cerpin is a pervert

Zindel found it interesting how pleased the other was. "You don't look like you have much experience," He grinned, smiling devilishly and sliding right back into the scenery. It was a little abrupt when he suddenly heard the other charging into the fray, and Zindel was finding it a little harder to keep up his hiding. He rounded a tree only find him face first with the other purpleblood, tensing and immediately beginning to leap away. "I think I'd rather--"
Shluck. Pain blossomed in his stomach, an increasing pressure on his midsection keeping him locked in place. He would've struggled if he wasn't currently impaled. Blood slid down his stomach as Zindel released a hoarse, breathless groan, lips wetting with what would be the coppery taste of his own blood. He wasn't feeling such intense pain he couldn't breathe, but just the sight of seeing a sword stuck in his stomach was enough to make Zindel jittery, panicky. He let the excitement get to his head, and now he was being made a fool of. His character shrunk slightly, finding it hard to stay up on his feet. He breathed weakly, his character beginning to bleed onto his chin and dribble down to his neck while Cerpin whispered into his sound nodes, forcing his cheeks to go red from embarrassment. He released another low groan, hand sliding up into Cerpin's silky hair and caressing the back of his head before wrenching it backwards hard. He gave him a bloody grimace. "T-this is-- Grgk..." It'd all been a set up from the beginning. That was why he seemed so eager. Zindel whispered back offhandedly, releasing a hulking cough before swinging his head backwards and slamming Zindel's head against Cerpin's. "T-take this outta me," He gasped, attempting to grab Cerpin as his characters knees fell out from under him. "P-please," His HP was disappearing too fast.

The look in the other boy's eyes killed him. Hands grabbed at him as the redblood crumbled towards the ground, begging for a bit of mercy. Zindel coughed and spat pixels on the ground as the virtual blood smeared across his body. Cerpin watched in horror, alarmed by the sudden shift in power and disgusted by what he'd done. His instincts had taken over and he'd 'killed' someone so easily. Keionx would be proud of his fighting capabilities.
Instead, he felt ashamed.
"s**t, no- I'm sorry, hold on!" He knelt down on the same level as Zindel, trying to dislodge the sword as the dancer gasped and flinched. It was fake, it was a game, and yet somehow it felt very real. He'd thrived on the competition but... this was not what he wanted. Blood continued to ooze out of the other troll and Cerpin swore. Pulling it out was only going to hurt worse but how could he turn down the request when Zindel was shuddering like that? What was the right thing to do?
Red and black, pleasure and pain. These feelings were too confusing and complex these days. Did he want to hurt Zindel or hold him? How did you balance it? How did he balance his eagerness to fight with the need to control his image as a harmless highblood to the Rebellion? It was too much to think about right now and he opted to shove it aside for later. He was steadying an injured man right now.
"I've got you. Look at me. Don't look down at it." Once Zindel's eyes were meeting his own and not watching the dribbling mess below, Cerpin yanked the blade out in a quick fluid motion. It would sting like a b***h and Zindel's HP would drop a few more points but hopefully, the mental trauma of whatever had happened would lessen. Gog, he felt like a d**k.
"Are you okay? We don't have to continue." How badly he'd wanted to kiss those lips. But at the moment, the kinder thing to do felt like it'd be walking away. More and more, he was seeing his privilege everywhere, reflected in the eyes of those trampled under trolls like him everyday. He'd forced this troll into his game and gotten carried away.
He tossed his sword aside.

The purplebloods voice was sounding out, but the redblood couldn't think. He was just too busy trying to find out which button could help him come back to life. As his character doubled over into the now panicking purpleblood, Zindel could feel his characters eyes droop slightly, the pressure on his stomach feeling too real, too much. He wished he could end it. He wanted to end it. The screen was blurry, and he wasn't sure if that was from his own panicking or if the game was showing him how real being impaled was. He looked down, the white of the sword seemingly sharp against his red, the graphics higher-tech than he thought it'd be. He grasped at it, struggling as he shook and breathed in small, panicky bursts. He hated pain, he hated pain he hated pain he hatedpainhehatedpain—
He was steadied, spoken to. Zindel' eyes slid unsteadily up, told not to look down. But he had to look— Pain. A sharp pressure, or pain, or whatever it was made him ache and grip Cerpin tighter, character releasing a watery gurgle as blood flowed from his wounds freely, not having the sword to block it. He coughed weakly, slumping to the side as more pressure overwhelmed him. His characters body wasn't moving. Actual Zindel was beginning to panic. Cerpin asked him some words, but Zindel couldn't respond. He quickly grasped at the purplebloods jacket, tugging him down before whispering in his ear. "K-kill me," Zindel begged, one hand pressing against his open wound, "Kill me p-please, please kill me—"
—Anything was better than the pain.
