[PRP] GameBro - Eiylas v Chiara

When both trolls are seated and the game's headset is in place, a large GameBro logo appears, and a warning page appears. The fine text scrolls past too fast to read and soon a character creation screen appears. Players can choose from a selection of medieval weapons; swords, shields, spears, bow and arrows, and plenty more. As soon as you've finalized your character a voice instructs each player on basic game mechanics and lets them practice. A countdown begins, and at the end your teleported to a large arena, only one other troll in sight.


Each turn roll 2D6, the first dice, hit accuracy hits on a 3-6.
If the first dice is a hit it deals the 2nd D6 of damage.

Chiara rolled her eyes as the instructions started, and pushed the skip button. As per her usual habit she chose the randomize button for character creation and accepted what ever she happened to get. Chiara spawned in as a sword and shield user, clad in blue of course. As soon as the countdown finished her character sprinted in and thrust with the short sword.

Where Chiara found this boring, Eiylas was fascinated. While the other troll was waiting, she had fun in making her character up. Ely's avatar was none too practical, and definitely older looking than she was. All the accents on her outfit were as purple as her supposed blood. As well, she had chosen a large claymore as a weapon... something not speedy, and completely chosen for the cool factor.

Right off the bat Chiara had thrusted her sword towards Eiylas, catching her side as she dodged out the way. Purple blood began to slowly ooze out of wound. Ely found herself frozen for a moment, staring at the stain on her hand. It was far too real; she began to tremble at the sight... both from fear and relief. In-game she was safe. This game was safe.

With renewed vigor she lifted up her sword and declared "I won't lose!". Giving a loud cry, Eiylas ran as fast as she could towards the other troll and swung down as hard as she could.

Chiara's eyebrows rose. This kid was bloodthirsty! She grinned, she would defiantly have to track this little squirt down once she grew up. Maybe there was some hope for the purplebloods of the world... That thought was not a good idea at this time, and the blueblood was distracted by her violent thoughts towards several other purplebloods. Her hand slipped off the controls for a second, and as Chiara just managed to get a grip back on the joystick, her swing went wildly off target. The blueblood snorted, that was kinda a stupid mistake...

Was this girl going easy on her? Stunned at the casual slip her opponent made, Eiylas began to calculate all of her options. An overhead attack again would be silly; Chiara would see that from a mile away. Perhaps...

Her grip on the controller tight, she pushed her character forward for another charge, this time rolling the stick to make her swing at the other's knees. That would make sense to attack, right? Hard to attack without working kneecaps! Eiylas seemed to make contact with the other, given how the controller jolted. A large smile crept across her lips. There was something so... incredible! Incredible about fighting like this. No matter why so many trolls enjoyed it!

Chiara took another massive hit from the large two handed sword. The machine had registered her blood color, and a pool of blue blood was streaming from a large gash in her shoulder. He virtual character was no longer able to lift the shield, its left arm hanging useless. Chiara put all her weight into the next swing of her short-sword, a little better at maneuvering now that her shield was gone.

She had gotten too cocky.

Satisfied with the blow she left on Chiara, Eiylas jumped away backwards. Just like in the cartoons, she had planned on doing some sort of cool "Skid backwards on her feet" maneuver to gain distance. Yet while she was jumping, Ely left her exposed and open to attack. An amateur move. Soon enough, her boldness came back to bite her as the end of Chiara's blade slashed straight against her avatar's stomach, causing Eiylas to jolt and lose grip on her controller.

Shaking, she touched her stomach in real life. Nothing. There was no blood, nothing to worry about. Yet that was still real enough to freak her out. Swallowing her fear, she bent down and grabbed the controller again and gripped it tightly, taking a few moments to catch her breath.

It was interesting seeing someone experience violence and bloodshed for the first time. The girl spent time looking at her injuries, injuries that the game was making look entirely too realistic. Chiara was impressed at the graphics, but the game could never really install the underlying feel of the adrenaline rush. It did a very good job what with the "heart pounding" noise beating through the headset's headphones, and Chiara could feel her own heart beating faster, getting adsorbed into the game.
Oh right, the fight. Even tho Chiara was loosing she felt a little guilty swinging at the child who was distracted by her own virtual wounds. The blueblood only hoped this potential win for the child would not result in a common purpleblood habit of rubbing it everyone else's face.

This blueblooded girl sure liked to play dirty! Eiylas only had just a moment to scream and throw her arm up to catch the blow, and as she watched the rich purple blood pour out of the wound she started formulating her plan. Okay. Okay she couldn't let her fear of bleeding in front of people hinder her in this game. It may just be a game, but if it was supposed to be a simulator well... she should be treating this like the real thing, right?

While Chiara was swinging her weapon and catching her arm, Ely twisted her other arm around and swung up with her own large sword like a baseball bat, hoping to catch her right in the side. Or armpit. Either option worked for her, so long as her weapon caught something

"Thats more like it!" Chiara cheered. She flinched back as her virtual body took a hit do the side. Now she could actually play. Chiara jabbed in at the other player, aiming for the shoulder or chest. The blueblood glanced at her health total and frowned.

Eiylas was far too deep into her swing to avoid the blow Chiara brought on. Again she found herself crying out in shock as the virtual blade dug into her digital chest. Her health points took a massive blow as well, as she watched it drop from twelve to six. Shoot. Shoot shoot shoot this wasn't good. She tried to shove the other off of her, but failed to get much further than that. It seems Ely was too distracted to attack.

Chiara frowned. No damage taken that time? She looked over at the big red button that only her controller had. The blueblood tried to swing gently, she wanted to "die" so she could push that enticing red button. "Come on! FIGHT!" Chiara yelled.

Why was she shouting at her to fight?! Ely was hit again, although this time it was expected... She was suspicious. Far too suspicious. Why was this girl trying to lose? "Its a trap..." she announced to the other girl, standing up straight. "Why do you want me to beat you so bad?" That troll sure knew how to get under her skin, and clearly she was able to fight in-game herself. She, up to this point, had managed to attack Chiara no problem... but Chiara was more experienced with this game than she was. What was going on?

Chiara looked at her freaking out opponent. It had started out going so well for the kid, and Chiara really wanted to get to push the big red button, but hey, she had something else ridiculous and silly to finish this off with. "Up, down, down, b, a, down, up" Chiara whispered to herself as she completed the sequence. In game her character yelled a barbaric war cry, and comically preformed some "finishing move". Chiara chuckled as her character comically threw an anvil that landed right on her opponent. The game had really focused on making the combat, violence and wounds feel real. Chiara felt the fight should end in a way to remind the poor girl that it was just a silly game, that she was fine.

The game screen went black and the helmets lifted up, revealing the players. Chiara got up and held out a hand to shake her opponents. "Good fight. Your gonna be quite a terrifying fighter when you grow uo."

An... anvil? She blinked a couple times at the "Game over" screen before starting to giggle. An anvil... was that what she was worried about? Then she laughed harder, hugging herself a bit as she did so, and took off the helmet. Yeah... yeah this was just a game. Ely wasn't in any real danger. Honestly she probably overthought most of her actions.

Taking off her helmet, Eiylas looked up at Chiara and gave a big grin. "Do you really think so...?" Her? A fighter? Izu and Tuzi would never approve of something like that but... the thought was a little bit exciting, admittedly. "Thank you. That was a lot of fun!" Scrambling to put down the video game gear, she then held out a hand to Chiara. "Good game! I'm Eiylas Zumeng!"
