Hello! Sorry I've been a bit lazy/neglectful! I promise I'm alright, but I'll get to that in a bit.

So! While I have been on Gaia the past month, most of it has been spent recovering from some medical stuff. Basically, a week before Halloween, I suddenly had a fit of numbness and speech loss for a minute, which scared a lot of family, and I was taken to the ER!

While there, I had CT scans, and MRI's, and EEGs, and all sorts of needles in me, all trying to figure out just what in the world caused all of this. Nothing was coming up, it was a freak thing, according to doctors. When the problems began to slow down (Going from 3-5 a day, to 1-2), I was released from the hospital. Few days later, back to a doctor, who said that they still had no answers.... Joy. Week after that, 2nd EEG, which also found nothing.

Just this week, we finally learned what it might be. A small, low-grade/harmless tumor on my brain. Which, sometime in December, I will be going in for a biopsy so doctors can figure out how best to deal with it. Yes, a needle to my brain. Due to my young age (22), I actually have the absolute best odds, so the only complications can come from doctor-side. Which, there won't be.

Otherwise? Mostly I've been relaxing and haven't had the energy to update my threads in the Writer's Club. Hopefully once all of this is over, January, I can launch it all into high gear!

That sounds scary going to doctor after doctor and them not being sure.
Now that they found the cause how are you feeling?
Are you tired much?

I haven't felt any different. It hasn't negatively affected my body permanently, and I honestly consider the size of the tumor (1 inch) to be pretty small, despite what everyone else thinks.
As for being tired, yes, but for a different reason. New mattress on my bed at home, and I can't find a good way to sleep on it, so I have been waking up tired, which has given me a few headaches.

I hope you get used to the new bed soon. I am glad it has not permanently affected your body. I am with you about the size of the tumor. I had one removed from my stomach and it was a lot larger and I am fine.

I'm trying to. Been getting nights I get a full 8-9 hours a lot more, so I think I am, slowly. The most annoying part, honestly, is everyone mis-hearing what is said about the tumor. My dad thinks it's just above my eye, when it's actually just a few inches above and to the side of it, somewhere near my temple. My mom thought it was on my brainstem... And they both think it's from my crashing my face into something when I was about 2 years old. Tumors don't start that way, especially 20 years later.
