Reading - She loves to read, mostly fantasy and science fiction. She loves the thrill of adventure of the edge of paranoia that a good book and sets. She's a bit of an escapist at times, not always and would rather get lost in a book than deal with things immediately. She loves the fantastic pictures that run through her mind when she fully engrossed. She has a two book a week minimum, regardless of what's going on with her. Who doesn't love reading, right?
Skateboarding - Don't let her often dainty appearance fool you. Sahara is pretty decent on a board, she even owns a longboard. Her brother got a board for Christmas when he was 7 and a week later it was hers, after she took it from him. She has been skateboarding ever since and she can often be found at the skate park after school and when she sneaks out at night. There are small tournaments held at night and she likes to enter, and possibly win some money. There is always someone who takes in her appearance and is flabbergasted when she floors them. 360 kickflip, easy, as far as Sahara is concerned. For her skateboarding is freedom and release. It's a hobby for life.
Virtues:
Tenacious- She is a very strong willed and spirited person who doesn't let much get in her way or get her down. She's taken life in her hand and his determined to ride it into the sunset of her own dreams. She's been through alot in her short life, from her parents divorce, remarriages, and being from two houses that speak two different languages, but through it all she's preservers. She is determined to live a good life, keep up with her studies and carve her own future, a successful one.
Vivacious - Sahara is very animated and feisty. She is so expressive it's not hard to tell what she is thinking. It makes it easy to see when she's really enjoying herself and she often is. It also makes it easier to judge her moods in case it's a spitfire kind of day. From skateboarding, to reading, to making joke or even just hanging out, Sahara shines. Her teachers love for her to read aloud in class and she often first called for a skit. She often has a can do, stick it to the world, she will succeed attitude that is contagious even if it not always good in a few situations. She's definitely gotten in a few fights.
Independent - Sahara has always been an independent person, even as a baby she never wanted help, not with walking or eating or anything she could do herself, once she figured it out. She likes to figure things out and she like the accomplished feelings that come with finally getting it right. She is her very own person and marches to the beat of her own drum, she knows what she needs and figures out how to get it. She of course knows there will be times when she will need help and she knows how to ask for it, but otherwise she wants to be allowed to stand on her own two feet and experience the world around her.
Flaws:
Argumentative - Sahara isn't one to just take things as they are. She doesn't like being told no and hates it when people say things that are wrong or just plain stupid. She is always one to make her point, argue it and stick to it until the topic it thoroughly beaten with a stick. It doesn't even have to be anything serious, be it her arguing why she should have a certain duty in a project, why her allowance should be raised, or why her friends should just do what she wants. It can get her into a lot of trouble when she’s wrong and it makes people avoid certain topics when she's around.
Vindictive - Sahara doesn't much like slights against her and she believes wholeheartedly in payback. If you get on her bad side, hurting or insulting her then you will want to watch your back. She's not above playing dirty and will spread rumors, play pranks (none too nice) and even outright just punch someone in her efforts to get revenge. She does understand playful jests, but if the playful jest go too far, you'll find yourself on her s**t list. She has lost a few friends and made of few enemies because of this.
Manipulative: Sahara likes to get her way. Really as far as she concerned it her way of the highway. If there is something she doesn’t want to do that has to be done, you can bet someone else is going to do it for her depending on the level of trouble she’ll get into for it. She certainly isn’t going to make someone else do her homework, but she often find a way to get her brother to do her chores with his. She has perfected her puppy dog eyes and can cry on cue. Extended curfew, no problem, time to work daddy over … a new dress time to hit up mom. She knows who to work and how to work them to get just what she wants. It a behavior parents don’t like to see when used on their children, but Sahara doesn't care. She’ll just convince them their parents are crazy.
