Soaring, his wings helped him to glide easily on a breeze that seemed to have a life all it's own. Moments passed on these winds before his deep purples eyes were greeted with that of a vast blue expanse. It was a wonderful sight to see, but he was wary - very aware of just how vast it truly was. Movement below, just enough to be noticed, reminded him that Njia was likely being hammered with the life filled winds and he backed up his speeds a slight amount.
"Thank you." Was what he heard, whether that was what she had said was another thing. The snake had a whole other personality of her own, nothing to abrasive, more of a protective motherly feel. She had a sharp tongue when needed, but was more or less harmless. "Down." This time the large God heard her clearly, there was certainly no question about it. He glanced below them and spotted a beach - the tide was high and flowing in a rhythm that seemed to match of that of the winds to form some sort of dance between the pair.
"Fine." The beast murmured, not obeying, but certainly not disagreeing with the idea of landing. This was an ideal spot actually - there was plenty of chance to see what the waters were about. His concern was primarily on the dance of the waves, not that there were prides nearby, no matter how his alarm bells rang. Even Njia seemed entranced, as they landed she left his side to embrace the sand in a way that made him wonder why she would fly with him - he was sure if he ever worked up the courage to ask it would simply start an argument or she would have a different story. That was a battle for another day.
Once settled he folded his wings loosely, allowing them to lay at his side in a way that grazed the sand gently - this action left small trails at either of his side as he approached the waters edge. In his wake the trail appeared as large paw prints, larger than average, but certainly nothing humongous and that odd trail. "Tras, it's beautiful." The snake admired, sharing her words as though she spoke for him as well, he glanced to his partner, used to the action and then gazed out towards the waters again.

"Isn't it though?" Eos had been watching the waves for hours, just enjoying the sound and sight of it. He needed a break for others, and since he lived in a pride now, that meant time to himself was a little hard to come by. He rather missed his father and stepmother now that he was dealing with so many others at once. He liked the pride, don't get him wrong, but it made his father's ever changing additional company seem tame. Eos had not expected to get company like this lion before him. He had heard of gods, and he knew they existed. He had never thought to see one himself, but he had no doubt that was what this abnormally large lion was. Even without the wings, there was a air to him. The orange lion stayed on the rock that he had chosen for his perch and looked back at the waves again. "The ocean is a wondrous sight that sticks with a creature, whether for good or ill. Not all are affected positively by her beauty." Eos was quite the sight to see. His orange and teal fur was fluffed up, and his mane looked like he purposefully let it wind swept by the sea breeze. He had been running around like a cub before coming to this perch. And after the rest he had, he was thinking about doing it again. The problem was there were others now, one of which was a snake. He should try NOT to startle them too much. Yet, he really wanted to go running into the water, get himself soaked, and go bouncing around on the beach like he normally did when on his own.

Njia nearly jumped out of her skin on the inside, but remained a composed fixture next to her partner. Eyes were rapidly on the other lions that had seemingly been perched there the entirety of their descent and landing. It was likely they had disturbed him and yet his company appeared docile - this was promising. She remained silenced a moment though and peered towards the God she had come to know as a dear companion.
"It's a wonder that I've been given the opportunity to see her in a positive light." He spoke in a deep, rumbling voice. It carried slightly and faded slowly - perhaps the typical way a Gods voice might carry, as though they had been through plenty of time themselves. Now Njia felt a little more comfortable to speak, though within the moment she was startled by her lack of trust in the other, it was a symptom of her day to day since meeting Tras.
The snake peeked up a little more, her presence was already clear, likely, but now she made it very clear if it hadn't been. "Have we stumbled upon your home?' She inquired in a gentle voice, but made herself speak a little louder so her tiny voice could carry over the sound of the rushing waters.

Eos watched the god, admiring how he seemed so calm and collected. The orange lion wished HE seemed that way most of the time, but really, he was more of the hyper, playful goof. He certainly was not just lacking in the god's mannerisms. That voice was something too. It almost sounded like the waves, loud and fading as they retreated. How someone could not be in awe of one of these creatures, he did not know.
"It is fortunate that you see her this way. She can be very cruel just as easily as kind. Today she is very kind." Eos had almost forgotten about the snake that he had seen slithering in the sand until the creature spoke. He looked over at her and smiled a bit. "You have not stumbled upon my home... I am out here taking a break from home. Too many lions everywhere making too much noise for too long gets tiresome."
Eos had to wonder if maybe he should think about moving his den to the outskirts of the pride so he did not come out away from the pride so often. Perhaps, but then again, he was trying to find himself a nice mate in the pride too, and that would be harder if he was too far from the center of things. There was so much to consider with that mess.

The admiration was lost on Tras, he had no intention of ignoring the peering eyes of his newest companion, but he also didn't intend to glance his way. This was just the way the God was, it was often miss interpreted as a disrespect or simply ego. Njia had grown to recognize this as just a way to protect himself from feeling vulnerable, even among mortals.
"Hopefully I never have to see that side of her, I can only imagine what horrors could befall the world surrounding her entrancing waves. There wouldn't be a shore safe from her wrath." He spoke fluidly and with a fondness that betrayed his first regal speech. Njia gazed out, trying to see the beauty the pair were seeing, instead from her view she could only see something incredibly frightening. "There's nothing out there for someone my size. The pair of you are lucky to see her from such a view." She was slightly grumpy and had taken to her place on his forepaw, wrapped akin to a bracelet.
Just as she had settled in her cozy place she felt him shudder slightly. "You do not live here, you instead have a home nearby?" This posed a problem for the incredibly shy God. His deep purple stare traded the scenic ocean for the lion that had kept his place on the rock. Tras maintained his collected glance, but his regal voice was betrayed by emotion once again, this time of concern - it was incredibly slight though.

Eos chuckled as he watched the two. "Not many see it unless they live near her... and do not fear, little one, she is big even to us." Which was not false. Eos often thought of her as far too large for any lion to understand. He loved living by the ocean, though. There was something about it that just called to him in a way that he could not explain. He would not leave, even if he got tired of the pride at this point. Eos thought he heard worry in the god's voice, though eh could not be certain. He hoped not, but he would do his best to reassure him. "I live not too far, but the pride does not come out this far. I come here to be alone because none of them will venture so far from home." At least not in this direction... They might go into the roguelands sometimes, but they tended not to venture so far from home along the beach without a group since it was rather dangerous if a storm blew in.

If Njia was capable she'd have puffed up at his 'little one' comment - yet she had never felt so small and so it seemed accurate. Still she shot him a dagger eyed look, but returned her alert glance back to the wide ocean spread out before them. "You're right there." Tras agreed, though he could feel the tension from his companion at the words - he actually almost snickered.
"Thank you." He said, giving a slow nod to his head. The gods purple eyes turned back to the waters before returning to the lion. "So what is the pride like?" His curiosity had peaked, not enough for him to enter the lands - not yet, but enough to wonder about them. "Are they kind, welcoming and what are their view of Gods?"
The rumors out there had been that the Bahari were accustomed to godly visitors and yet the look of surprise that had been on his companions face did not provide concrete evidence. In short, the god was not convinced. He felt Njia tighten again, her presence forever warm and welcoming - if he were to lose her he'd not share that feeling with another - he was convinced.
