 She'd never imagined it.
Never imagined being a mother, never imagined being in love. Never imagined loving her children, loving Syth, loving being in a family that was close without being possessive.
And she never imagined wanting more.
A sigh escaped her as she watched the two play. Two was a good number. Two was a pretty decent number.
But Kei had put a thought into her head the last time they visited; What if there was four? Or five? The 'f' numbers were pretty neat, after all. And...she agreed. And she wanted a larger family of her own. Of Syth's. Of theirs.
"...Syth..." She started, sitting up from leaning against the tree.
"Can I...ask you a...question...?"

 Syth was so happy he loved his little ones so much, he looked forward to doing so much with them. Teaching them the things he had learned when he left his mountain home to go to school at the academy and then getting into the university where he intended to study alchemy. He was so happy with Rei and the little ones in his life, it felt like the missing puzzle piece finally fell into place. He really needed to get a freshling sitter and take Rei on a romantic date. Syth turned to Rei hearing her question and he said. "Of course you can ask me anything." He said warmly Syth loved their kids and would love to have more some day, but he wasn't going to push Rei since she had already moved out of her comfort zone to imbue the stones she agreed to imbue. Syth would do anything for Rei, including going through whatever channel needed to get stones for her if that was her wish. Syth would risk everything for Rei, the female he loved.

"...More."
Rei barely whispered, hanging her head so that her bangs covered her eyes. A pert of her was ashamed to ask such a thing, afraid of making Syth shoulder any sort of burden. Afraid of so many things that just didn't make sense to be afraid of in the long run, but she still feared.
Looking up towards the children, she fought against such fears. Really, she was working herself up for nothing, it seemed.
"I...would like to have..more children...if that would not...be too much to...ask." Her shoulders shook and her voice wavered. So much trust had been put into Syth, that she felt comfortable to ask. "I just think...that a number...beginning with 'f'...is a...nice number..."

Syth thought about what Rei was saying more, more what, he would give her more of whatever she asked for that wasn't a problem. Syth snuggled Rei to him, hoping to help her find the confidence she needed to ask for what she wanted. Syth considered what she was say and then asked. "Four, Five, Fifteen would take a while, but four or five sounds really nice, besides any little one that looks anything like you, is lovely in my book." Syth said softly

She laughed at that, curling up against him and, as always, wrapping her tail around his affectionately. Those worries seemed to evaporate with his words. Worries, woes, anything negative that may have been lingering in her mind. It was gone. Just like that, and just because of him.
"I do not...know about...fifteen..." She admitted. The two they had were so much work by themselves, and two more would be...Those thoughts, as well, evaporated.
"Then we...can try to...get more? I would very...much like...that." A kiss was gently pressed against his neck.
