But, she wanted kids.
She wanted kids SHE helped imbue. They had two beautiful babies, and she loved them so dearly, but she always wanted kids that shared her blues and her markings. It wouldn't make her love them any more, or the others any less. It just.... was what she wanted. Her family wasn't the best, and the only people she biologically had attachments to.... weren't great people. No, honestly, they were horrible people.
So, her options were imbue by herself, or imbue with another person. It seemed lonely just.... doing it alone. Sure, her parents would be fine with it. She wasn't making kids with someone not a naiad, technically. But it seemed empty, almost. She wanted to share the experience with another person!
So she would!
