xxxxxxPersonality|| Katsu is a natural born liar, though he's a bit strange, mixed with blood-lust and analysis, finding the best ways to annoy someone. Despite this, he can get along with some people. Persistence is his selling point, known to survive multiple wounds and is extremely hard to kill, meaning it wouldn't be a surprise if his heart was somehow still beating after his head was chopped off. He hates people who act as if there was no way they would lose, it annoys the hell out of him. He's not as rash or insane as before, but now back to his normal behavior as a violence enthusiast.
xxxxxxBehaviour|| Katsu has no moral standing and doesn't choose to do things based on reason, but more so just because he feels like it. In battle, he will use dirty, immoral, and dangerous means as long as it doesn't contradict his "Pride" as a Swordsman. He is also extremely offensive in battle, preferring not to give the enemy any breaks and follows up mercilessly, like a beast. He will fight more skillfully than simply charging in without thinking, like he has been known to do before. This is due to the calmed trauma. However, he is somewhat disorienting, his personality shifting, or swinging, towards either violence or normal behavior.

xxxxxx Background History|| Katsu was once a villager of the Village hidden in the Caves. As the name suggests, this was an underground earth country village. The Cave Village was extremely isolated and could not be normally found unless a person dug it up. Because of the labyrinth-like structure of the village, the ninja and leaders could control the village and literally keep it in the dark. This dictatorship was never questioned, it was followed or death. One day, Katsu’s parents tried to hide Katsu and oppose the ninja. They gave him instructions and food and he obeyed. As soon as they mentioned the words “change”, they were killed by the cave shinobi. Katsu was able to escape by digging his way up and out of the caves before any ninja could catch and execute him. He then fled to the Mist Village and had lived there ever since.
After the Mist Village disbanded, Katsu joined up in the Waterfall Village, though was given permission to keep his Village Pride by continuing to wear his Mist Headband.
Soon after joining, Katsu became a Chuunin, passing the exams not with his team, as he would normally, but by displaying exceptional skill among the other applicants, along with a few others. He lost a leg to Lars, a friend from the Mist who had also come to the Waterfall, who had blown it off with an explosive tag during combat. He used a peg-leg afterwards, not holding a grudge against Lars for that.
In the middle of training after coming back from his Chuunin Exam, day turned to night and soon villagers started rioting. Cutting his way to the Heiland Estate, Olympian Bloodhaven, he tried to find Lars or the Takikage, Kleine, to try to make sense of the mess. When he got there, he was attacked by a curious Heiland(Yamato) and Nakamuro, who was adopte into the Heiland Family, which Katsu knew. The fight was early, but Katsu's peg-leg had given out and a new man showed up, supposedly saving him, but turned on him and killed him at lightning speed after Katsu made the jest "I'll kill you, Lars", annoyed at him for raising such troublesome children.
After dying, Katsu spent a few decades in the World Within. He changed his principals there, not caring about being the strongest "normal" ninja, but now prefers simply fighting to win, specifically against the famous, special, or strongest shinobi. Later, he attempted to kill Lars for having such a troublesome servant that couldn't take a joke, in which they were both killed, Lars' Sanha taking over and killing Katsu after he defeated Lars. They made up in the World Within, exchanging Katsu's set on vengeance against Lars' child for a favor from Lars. Katsu traveled to the Mist after receiving an invitation to join the Mist 7, which had been his main goal since the Academy. Shortly after arrival, the Madking Saemus showed himself, brainwashing the Mizukage Luo into massacring the Mist. Blade, Axel, and Katsu attempted to stop him, in which Katsu was nearly killed and reverse summoned himself to the Snake Islands, where he trained for five years.
Attempting to join Akatsuki out of boredom, Katsu decided to attack the person greeting him at the entrance and was thoroughly beaten by three S-ranked shinobi ganging up on him, which is when he was then buried alive, then dug up and used for an Edo Tensei. After this, he was revived by Mizuki out of a deal made for one of his various legendary-class swords, though he came back as a genin. Escaping an attempt to kill him again as soon as he came back, he joined Sand after training some more in the abandoned Mist to get used to his new leg, which came back when he was Edo Tenseied.

xxxxxPASSIVE ABILITIES
• +2/2 in stats. They have to lug those weapons around somehow.
• +50 chakra. While they are not ninjutsu specialists, they are widely considered monsters in stamina and endurance.
• Silent Killing: Trained in covert tactics and technique, the Swordsmen are capable of moving in absolute silence, stilling their heartbeat and breath as if they did were not living, or even non-existent.
• Silent Killing, Part 2: Beyond just becoming dead silent on the battlefield, Swordsmen must also train to fight in environments where they cannot rely on their eyes. In this, they learn to pin-point the locations of targets by using sound, calculating the shape and weight of their friends and enemies to distinguish between different people. In addition, they can hear the sound of swinging objects, especially sharp objects cutting the wind, letting them hear the trajectories of incoming or nearby weapon movements and lending them better reflex against it.



xxxxxEXECUTIONER

Vampiric Passive
Whenever the Executioner’s Knife touches blood, it will use that to repair itself as well as its wielder from any damage either has suffered recently. This merely heals physical injuries, sometimes just partially and only equal to the amount of damage done to the foe.

Feint Attack C-Rank
The Swordsman can land a normal hit against his target without fail. This won’t likely be fatal, or even very serious. However, with the Swordsman’s mastery of the blade, he can ensure this attack hits. Must be within the Swordsman’s range, which is usually fairly large given the size of the Executioner's Knife. This has a three post cooldown.

Beheading B-Rank
The Swordsman catches the foe’s melee attack in the hollow crescent of the Executioner’s Knife. Utilizing this peculiarity, the Swordsman turns this block into a counter, turning the sword with the crescent as the axis, bringing the large blade down where the foe’s neck and shoulder meets. While this can be partially avoided, it will at the very least leave a large cut on the foe’s torso or arm.

Throw A-Rank
The Swordsman catches a limb or head in the hole of the Executioner’s Knife. They use this hold to then throw the opponent in whichever direction they choose. This will not cause severe damage to any opponent, but is merely meant for the Swordsman to take advantage of terrain to corner their opponent. This has a five post cooldown.

Execute S-Rank
This is guaranteed to hit when the foe attempts to retreat [create distance] or is delayed for at least a moment [attack delay, handsigns, etc.] and is in immediate range. The Swordsman catches the foe’s head inside of the Executioner’s Knife’s hole and then goes onto spin the foe at rapid speed through the air before smashing them into the ground or some surface. If the foe is not sufficiently armored or strengthened, AKA within two strength of the Swordsman or with some armor of B-Rank+, this will kill the target. If they are armored or tough enough, then this will simply seriously injure their neck, spraining it and thus dulling the foe’s reflexes. This has a one post cooldown.



xxxxxSHARKSKIN

Gluttonous Eater Passive
The Samehada, AKA Sharkskin, eats chakra. It can eat any chakra, from people or ninjutsu. Any person it “shaves”, it absorbs 30 chakra points from them and gives it to the Swordsman in chunks of 10 points per post over three posts. Ninjutsu it ‘cuts’ let it absorb half of what was put into the technique [Dependant on how much the foe actually put into the technique, not the chakra equivalent to the typical rank].

Sweep C-Rank
A simple technique perfected by Samehada wielders over the decades. The Swordsman swings Samehada in a circle around them. While seemingly normal, this reach and fullness with a blade as heavy as Samehada is extremely difficult and allows the Swordsman to defend against ninjutsu and opponents who attack from all sides. This has a one post cooldown.

Thrust B-Rank
A seemingly normal attack which only works for Samehada. Thrusting Samehada forward, the Swordsman lets the opponent escape to the sides before Samehada widens its needle-like surface, shaving any who try dodging to the sides of Samehada rather than simply back up.

Bite A-Rank
Like Thrust, the Swordsman thrusts Samehada forward at the foe. If they retreat backwards, Samehada will stretch further by half its initial length very quickly and bite the foe, eating 66% more chakra than usual [50].

Guard S-Rank
A special technique where the Swordsman takes a defensive stance with Samehada. Samehada then ‘inhales’ so much chakra in the environment that it creates a vacuum around the Swordsman, diverting all ninjutsu within 25 meters of the Swordsman toward them.



xxxxxFANG

Dual Canines Passive
The electric current running through Fang enhances the Swordsman’s reflexes and dexterity immensely, such that all weapon techniques are double-cast when wielding Fang, either using them at the same time or back-to-back, for no extra cost. Fang also emits a natural flow of lightning, allowing the Swordsman to perform raiton with no handsigns using the blades as the origin, as well as redefining raiton as a weapon technique.

Stab C-Rank
The Swordsman stabs at the foe’s middle line, usually the gut, chest, throat, or head. If the foe dodges to the side, the ‘hooks’ will cut and inflict electric damage upon the foe on the side of the general targeted area. If the foe does not dodge, they get stabbed...

Disarm B-Rank
This technique has a 50% chance to remove the weapons from the foe’s hands. The Swordsman utilizes the protruding ‘hooks’ of Fang as well as its lightning to force the weapons from the foe’s hands or body. This, like all weapon techniques, is doubled up with Fang, thus both of Fang’s blades have a chance at disarming [must roll for both].

Read A-Rank
The Swordsman swings one Fang, intended to force certain actions on the foe. When performed, it is with the intent that this first Fang will not hit, however utilizes the Swordsman's understanding of combat and will allow them to define the opponent's response, within reason.

Dash S-Rank
The Swordsman will dash by the foe at a speed equal to 1.5x their current speed stat [ignoring cap], and then they’ll cut the foe with the ‘hooks’ of the Fangs. They will then utilize the ‘hooks’ of the Fangs to hook the ground or some other structure and do an absurdly tight turn around, and dash a second time at equivalent speed to their first dash. As this is doubled up, with both Fangs this will dash-and-attack a total of 4 times at high speed.



xxxxxHELMSPLITTER

Castle Breaker Passive
The Helmsplitter ignores all personal defenses of the foe, such as hardened bones or skin or other kinds of armor effects.

Charge! C-Rank
The Swordsman runs toward the foe, or his destination, and nothing will stop him from making it there. Using the Helmsplitter, toughness, and dexterity, the Swordsman will break through any obstructions, leap through any openings, and scale anything in between. This puts the Swordsman, so long as they move towards the foe, into a hyperaware state which makes them able to immediately assess threats and obstacles, then act simultaneously.

Weapon Break B-Rank
When the foe brings a weapon before the Swordsman, the swordsman merely needs to slam both the hammer and the axe piece of Helmsplitter into each other to break any weapon, no matter how unbreakable it is. Can also be used on non-weapons, and has the potential to be as strong as Split in terms of ability.

Throw A-Rank
A very risky technique. The Swordsman throws Helmsplitter somewhat like bolas. This moves 3x as fast as the Swordsman. Will likely kill anyone it hits, or at least cripple them for life.

Split S-Rank
The Swordsman brings down the axe of the Helmsplitter down on the target, lodging it in. The hammer follows up, striking the axe and forcing it through, creating a great division within the target until it is either in two pieces or utterly destroyed. Typically used to bring down the walls of fortresses or even the seals of Uzumaki Masters. Legends tell that one Swordsman of Helmsplitter split an enemy army in two.



xxxxxNEEDLE

Red Thread of Fate
Needle is known as the most complex of the Seven Swords. Needle’s thread is barely visible and unbreakable except, perhaps, the Helmsplitter. When Needle strikes something, the thread will entangle it, whether it be an object, person, or terrain. The thread is sewn deep through the target, so to remove it is not so simple beyond amputation. The Swordsman of Needle, utilizing the thread, can pull two or more things entangled by Needle together, including Needle itself.

Remise C-Rank
The Swordsman attacks with Needle, stabbing at the foe. However, a single avoidance doesn't work, as the Swordsman now follows up with a series of short attacks without withdrawing their arm, meaning the sword will constantly be attacking via changing trajectories and forward movement.

Riposte B-Rank
The Swordsman lunges forward, stabbing Needle forward. With a slight spinning motion on the blade originating at the wrist, the Swordsman can parry any attack except, perhaps, the Executioner’s Knife’s Feint Attack. With the parry comes the counter, which uses the parry to force the foe off-balance before homing in for a touch on the body. If one is parried, given the distance, it is extremely difficult to evade such the counter.

Pierce A-Rank
The Swordsman throws Needle like a javelin, capable of piercing any defenses, but cannot bring them down like Helmsplitter might.

Attaque S-Rank
The Swordsman twirls Needle above his or her head as they charge the foe. When entering striking range, the Swordsman whips Needle in an erratic trajectory, making it harder for the opponent to predict or react to the strike which can come from any direction.


xxxxxTROUT

Chakra Weapon Passive
Wielding Trout, or the Twinsword/Hiramekarei, is to focus on powerful chakra-based ranged abilities. Essentially, this turns all weapon techniques into a ninjutsu of one rank higher, capable of competing with ninjutsu in destructive capability, typically creating a giant blade or other weapon or sharp wave from the blade of the Hiramekarei. For dual-wielding techniques, Trout can become two identical swords.

The Swordsman hides behind Trout’s massive frame.

Hammer B-Rank
The Swordsman slams the foe with Trout's massive side, doing large blunt damage.

Sword A-Rank
Swordsman slices with Trout.

Long Spear S-Rank
The Swordsman thrusts Trout.



xxxxxSPLASH

Explosive Tendencies Passive
Splash is a difficult weapon to handle, though definitely worth using. Its scroll has infinite explosive tags which are free to use. First order of business: The Swordsman is immune to these particular explosions. Second, the Swordsman can activate all tags remotely so long as he or she holds Splash. Typically, a single explosive hit from Splash is equivalent to a hundred explosive tags, AKA grenades.

Switch C-Rank
The Swordsman strokes the hilt hard with his thumb, switching the blade's side. This means the Swordsman can swap the bladed side of Splash with the explosive side, and the explosive side with the bladed side, on a whim.

Foul Play B-Rank
A very simple technique which utilizes the immense threat which Splash portrays to the enemy. The Swordsman wields Splash with a single arm and charges the foe ready to swing. A moment before the swing, however, should the foe choose not to dodge until the Swordsman is in striking distance, the Swordsman will grab the foe with his/her other hand and hold the foe in place as Splash is brought down on them. Good for quickly disappearing the inexperienced from the battlefield.

Fast Draw A-Rank
The Swordsman draws and attacks with Splash in a second. This is surprising for most foes, as Splash is a very bulky and large weapon, thus this can quickly dispose of enemies who attempt to ambush the Swordsman believing they have the upper hand with Splash still sheathed.

                      Background Info: Lars was born under Goh Alexandersson and Elsbeth Heiland, with his younger brother arriving 3 years after him on the same date, June 30th. Goh was a hired contractor, a hired assassin for Kusagkure to take undercover missions while Elsbeth stayed behind and took care of the kids. As they grew, they were taught about ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu from the Academy and were considered to be excelled students within the class. Upon graduating the Ninja Academy at age 11 with his brother, the two entered the Chuunin Exams in separate teams. Lars was apart of Squad 11 and his younger brother was placed in Squad 7. Throughout the Chuunin Exams, they were neck and neck aiming to becoming stronger than the other sibling and become a Chuunin as a mantle for when they came home. By the end of the exams, the two brothers were pit against each other in the finals and due to an attack in Kusa, his brother was murdered by enemy shinobi. His brother was torn apart by rushing winds of S-rank strength, this was caused by the Summoning Windmill technique. Lars returned home as a Chuunin, but at the cost of losing his younger brother from the attack. Elsbeth was distraught and Goh was still out on a mission of great importance and espionage, leaving Lars and Elsbeth alone in their home. Throughout Lars' Chuunin years, he was a loner, never finding friends or true love to be his forte. He went through the motions and proceeded with missions and training Genin. Lars taught a full class of Genin who soon after became the future Chuunin Homeland Defense Division in Kusa. From creating a formidable Defense Division for the Kusa gates, he had been moved up to the Jounin position which was an odd blur throughout. Lars was Jounin for multiple years and defended the homeland under the name of the Kusakage, earning the rank of Sannin. He is currently 21 and noticed that for the past 5 birthdays, he hadn't aged a bit. Upon becoming a Sannin, Lars was sent on a SS-rank mission to eliminate the oncoming army that was heading to invade Kusagakure, which he completed easily. Upon strolling throughout the bodies of the warzone, he noticed a familiar body, it was his father Goh. Goh had been re-educated and forced to join the opposing forces under a different banner.

                      Other Info: He likes to read and listen to music, usually jazz. Lars has a knack for Kendo but also enjoys fighting hand-to-hand. He dislikes milk and cardboard boxes (a wink to veteran NURds), along with most vegetables.

              Awakened Abilities:

              #1 - Encore | 30 Points
              Lars allows a specific scene to take place and records it with his eyes, the exact movements, the touch, the feel, the setting of everything, almost as if he's recording a short video. Once he records the moment, he must perform three signs twice, they must be done the exact same way, and the target must view/hear/feel this both times for the technique to work. When caught in the genjutsu, it enacts the scene with perfect detail, almost as if time was caught in repeat. All of the target's senses are affected as their pulled into the repeating scene within their mind. The scene goes on and on in constant repeat until the target realizes they are in a genjutsu. The scene flows smoothly from beginning to end, resembling deja vu.

              #2 - Craft | Passive
              Lars can mold his flesh into weaponry like claws or a short sword for battle, this weaponry can have specific pieces shifted for better effects (i.e. sudden jagged edge to a blade, extended blade or pole length, whip gains thorns). D would be something around a knife or a shank, something S-rank would be a claymore or a huge club. Only one item can be made at a time, if destroyed, more flesh can be expelled to create another weapon but only after two posts of cooldown.

              #3 - Crawl | 30 Points
              Lars lowers himself and stalks around his prey ready to pounce, within this stance, everything around him has slowed down so he can provide better reaction. Everything moves regularly outside of a 40 foot radius, but within, only to the senses does everything slow down for Lars. You'd believe that this would be a bad thing, but this helps him assess the situation more clearly and react accordingly, most of the time with a plausible counterstrike. This stance can only be taken twice during any battle situation. Once out of the position, the slowed down effect ends and Lars must release the same amount of chakra to do it again.

              #4 - Bolt | 20 Points
              Lars lowers himself and then bullets towards the enemy with the speed of a jet, coming at high speeds BUT he is able to shift his body to alter his own trajectory and movement while airborne, the only thing that cannot be changed is his release into the air and his return to the ground (ie a sword is coming down on him to cleave him in half, he can shift his body to the side upon nearing the opponent).

              #5 - Punish | 20 Points
              Lars bleeds onto the battlefield, his blood becomes dangerous territory, acidic for anyone who makes physical contact with it. This blood can also be used to trap or trick an opponent. This blood rises up and forms a wall, upon contact with his natural energy. Those who touch the blood will need a Jounin-rank medic to save the afflicted area or amputate it immediately.

              #6 - Hello and Goodbye | 20 Points
              Lars bites his tongue and fires his acidic blood out towards the opponent as a sharp thin tendril. The blood eats and tears away at the flesh and bone immediately upon physical contact and shoots out at a high speed.

              #7 - Hysteria's Dance | Initial Cost of 15 Points
              Lars moves with intense grace and elegance, throughout the battlefield, he can glide and hover at the cost of no chakra. His movements are deemed unpredictable and even those will excellent perception will have a difficult time reading his movements.

              #8 - I Know You | 20 Points Per Post
              Lars can make his shadow take the place of receiving an attack, taking all of the damage that post. The real Lars shifts with the shadow near instantaneously and hides within the reverse world, a realm deemed to be the polar opposite of our own. While within this realm, Lars cannot fight and neither can his shadow, all it can do is take and absorb attacks. Every post that the shadow remains in the regular realm, Lars must expel the same amount of chakra. This technique can only be used three times during any battle situation and if Lars is unable to expend the chakra to keep the shadow in the regular world, Lars will be ripped out of the reverse world by force and switched out with his shadow.

              Awakened Power:
              [Elizabeth/Maribeth]
              [Maribeth] Any leftover allocated points towards stats can be used to increase the rank of stages in taijutsu styles as well as techniques (with the cap being only two point rank increase), making small D-ranked stages become vicious B-ranked stages. This hereby increases the ability power of each style and its stages.

              [Elizabeth] Lars can open up his pores and release blood from every open hole to cover himself in it. While covered in blood, it works like a second skin and can be manipulated by will alone. The blood skin can be regenerated if washed away, but only when away from water entirely. Lars' blood is highly corrosive, touching his body while he wears the blood skin would shred the flesh and damage the bone. When the blood is red, its highly corrosive upon contact and holds S-rank in strength. Its passive as long as its for regular, non-chakra-based physical attacks. It costs chakra dependent upon the rank of physical-chakra-based attack that you'd like to defend against.

              Abyssal Power:
              [Hysteria/Saemus]
              [ Hysteria ] provides Lars with the ultimate eyes, being able to sense energy to the point of absolute pinpoint precision and realize genjutsu at a near instant, using Daiten to pierce through the altered senses, cancelling it out accordingly as well. Ashura is Lars' left eye, releasing a bright blue hue that can perceive attacks coming seconds before the technique occurs (i.e. can sense the mass of chakra preparing for the fireball technique and react accordingly). The eye does not need to be open to use this power but it does need to be in Lars' head to use it. Natural senjutsu chakra runs throughout the entire body, through eyes and along the limbs for Ashura and Indra.

              [ Saemus ] provides Lars with the best reaction time, his muscle reflexes attuned to answer the incoming messages from Ashura at an instant, almost as if his body runs on autopilot, acting on true instinct. His stance becomes primal and movements become wild and unpredictable, even to the sight of the highest tier of doujutsu. This turns his right eye red but attributes his body more than his vision.

              Level of Awakening: The Abyssal Soul
              Awakened Form:
              Lars' awakened form has evolved after going hungry for multiple months, only to devour human flesh again. From the length of time he went hungry, his entire body aimed to mold and reshape itself to become a deadly weapon from the inside and out. His previous form was a chrysalis, but now he has fully bloomed into a deadly force. His form is more humanoid than the others, except for his legs.

              Invulnerable Areas: Neck, Left Arm, Right Arm, Tail
              Appendage #1: Left Arm
              Lars' left arm forges a big round shield with a jagged edge encircling it. This shield can moved near instantly to the destination of one incoming attack and block according. This shield's jagged edge can also tear and rip through flesh and bone with ease, getting hit with this shield is like taking a bullet train head on at a subway station.

              Appendage #2: Right Arm
              Lars' right arm can forge large long javelins from the shoulder blade in infinite quantity. These javelins move at the same speed as the user when thrown and can be molded and altered like any kekkei tota innervate technique, giving the javelin a jagged edge, a longer reach, larger size. This javelin will follow the opponent until it is stopped by a technique or it hits its target. The javelin can also have a drilling/piercing effect that can damage most alloy as well as leave big gaping holes in bodies.

              e can also forge is entire arm to become a large javelin, once shifted, he can lunge forward with an additional two points added to his speed for the lunge alone. This lunge is quick and aiming to drill a hole through the opponent. The javelin itself can be shifted into a drill-like shape, have a jagged edge, and the end can be extended for longer reach when lunging. If this part of the arm is chosen, then the other part cannot be used until after the two post cooldown.

              Appendage #3: Tail
              Lars' receives a tail to defend himself as well as his left arm shield, this tail moves like a sentient being and defends and attacks for Lars when enemies are at close range. Its strong enough to grab and tear of limbs and is hard enough to break bones and damage organs.


              Appendage #4: Legs
              Lars' legs can shift to become more beast like, when shifted, the sannin moves at improbable speeds, being seen as a distorted flicker when he moves to those with doujutsu, those without doujutsu will only see a blur come and go, only while his legs are shifted. His kicks are like receiving kicks from a full grown horse at full power, being stomped on would be like receiving an elephant's stomp on your head. Lars's legs also have traction at the very heel, allowing for him to increase and halt his speed on the drop of a dime, going to 100 mph and then stopping to zero in a matter of seconds (as a form of exaggeration.)

              Appendage #5: Lower Back
              His lower back can sprout medium-sized wings that extend to 6 feet. The wings flap at intense speeds, becoming a blur and causing the air around him to grow intense. Those who attack him from behind can be diced to bits by the fast wings or stabbed right through if they're too close in before the wings sprout.

              Appendage #6: Neck
              Lars' neck is hard, hard and strong, tearing it off/out is impossible, cutting it off is impossible, only through absolute obliteration can the neck be destroyed. It dismantles the very molecules of anything that touches his neck while awakened. The neck is invulnerable

              Appendage #7: Gills
              Lars no longer needs his eyes or hearing when hes awakened, on his neck, he has gills that sense chakra and breath it in. Once inhaled, his mind works like a super computer to differentiate whose chakra is whose and determine who is friend or foe, as well as determine if an attack is being formed, whose doing the attack, which direction is it being launched at, etc. This chakra sensing ability works on everyone, whether friend or foe and even when blinded or has gone deaf, loses touch, taste, and smell, this appendage still exists and works like a charm. If the chakra is foul, supposedly has an odd smell, or is too small, then when inhaled, it gets separated and defined. Energy (as defined in the abyssal one passive) also counts as well. His gills work in the open air as well as in the water.

              Appendage #8: Ears
              Lars ears are shut, mostly sealed to his head, he can hear accordingly and differentiate sound, pitch, tone, etc. So any form of sound genjutsu is nulled when it hits his ears, it can tear apart the vocals, eliminate the sound of instruments, and even take the bullshit out of enhanced-voice alone. As an added bonus, loud noises that are meant to deafen him or disorientate him are deafened to the point where its like a small whisper rather than huge screech. Despite his super-enhanced abyssal hearing, normal conversations are heard loud and clear. Basically super selective hearing.

Katsu roamed the forests, pondering his next attempt to escape from this place and what he might do once he lives again. Upon seeing Lars, however, Katsu skips all exposition and launches his attack. After all, here in hell it isn't often you see somebody you know, and Katsu has always wanted another match Lars in their ideal forms. He draws Shibuki, jumping off from a tree yet making no noise, and swung it down towards Lars's head with the explosive side in front. "Hey Lars~!"

Splash is a difficult weapon to handle, though definitely worth using. Its scroll has infinite explosive tags which are free to use. First order of business: The Swordsman is immune to these particular explosions. Second, the Swordsman can activate all tags remotely so long as he or she holds Splash. Typically, a single explosive hit from Splash is equivalent to a hundred explosive tags, AKA grenades.

                                                          He would inhale and exhale before taking a huge leap forward to evade Katsu's swing entirely. Upon turning himself around, Katsu would notice that the Sannin's eyes gave off a red and blue glow. He would stand there as his cloak flowed in the wind, his eyes looking dull and bored as if he wanted to spend his afterlife alone to atone for everything he did. Thats what he deserved, thats what he wanted. His eyes saw Katsu's attack come from a mile away as well as the mass of chakra in the sword he was carrying. Katsu would also notice that Lars' mouth was sewn shut, meaning he wasn't going to talk and the presence he gave off was...none at all. He seemed more human now than before, but it was the exact opposite.

Ah, dojutsu. Katsu took a guess that chakra and predictable movements won't work... He dismissed Shibuki, bringing out Helmsplitter. "Hey, Lars, you got something in your teeth, y'know?" the swordsman laughed. Even if Lars wouldn't fight him, or talk, or whatever, Katsu would continue. Afterall, what else did he have to live for. He wasn't like the rest of the bums in the afterlife, those who gave up on life because they were tired, or fulfilled, or guilty. Katsu loved living and battle, he'd never stop fighting in life or death.

He dashed at Lars with high-speed, hammer and axe in hand, hoping to force his way passed the perception gap. At the very last possible moment, Katsu let go of one of the hammer and begun to swing Helmsplitter like nunchucks, attacking Lars with a series of rapid and quick swings which could easily chop and crush Lars's limbs.

                                                          He remembered Helmsplitter, Kleine had it before Katsu and the fact that he was using it against him brought back fond memories of his younger days as a genin. He couldn't just sit around and allow himself to be killed, he would lower himself into a lowered crouch that seemed more like a creature, ready to pounce. Time slowed down for him and Katsu's movements came as if he was in bullet time, but to Katsu, he'd be moving normally. Lars would duck and sidestep with each swing and thrust before jumping high overhead and landing behind him. Lars bit his tongue and released a huge amount of blood in the form of a sharp and dangerous tendril that aimed to stab deep into Katsu's back. Lars would close his mouth and let his multiple shoot from the gaps of his teeth, though thinner, were still dangrous. Touching it with skin, armor, or even the weapon itself wouldn't bode well. The multiple tendrils all converged for Katsu's position and moved at a high speed.

The Swordsman


Katsu sensed the intent at his back, using a burst of physical and chakra energy to turn around just as Lars would be launching his acidic assault. Finally some fight~ The reasonable thing at this point of time, facing an onslaught of attacks from numerous angles, would be to retreat and make distance... yeah, no. Katsu charged straight in, swinging Helmsplitter like nunchucks at inhumane speeds, the hammer and axe breaking up or severing the numerous tendrils which aimed themselves at Katsu, using water chakra flowing through them to empower and armor the parries, as well as slightly dilute the collateral mist of acid blood with water. Droplets touched Katsu's flesh, and left some intense burns across his face and arms.

Of course, he could've avoided the attacks all together. Perhaps use lightning step to make distance, or used perhaps created some barrier of wind. Yet if he'd spent so much time with an elegant-like defense like that, he'd never have gotten this opportunity to attack~

Now within arm's length of Lars, and with the advantage of higher ground, Katsu swung both the hammer and axe of Helmsplitter to pin Lars's sides, crushing his left side and amputating his right.

Using the Helmsplitter, toughness, and dexterity, the Swordsman will break through any obstructions, leap through any openings, and scale anything in between. This puts the Swordsman, so long as they move towards the foe, into a hyperaware state which makes them able to immediately assess threats and obstacles, then act simultaneously.

                                                          Lars would stand there but from Katsu's perspective, his target would seem to flicker and distort JUST before the weapons came down on him. Lars switched himself out with a fake of himself at this point. The blades slammed down on him and it looked as if he was pinned to the ground and writhing in agony but didn't scream. Lars would push himself up from the ground and take a good leap back. Another distortion, or lag in time would happened. Lars looked different with this next distortion, switching back from his fake self, like he had become more monster than man now, bipedal legs, a medium-sized tail, medium-sized wings on his lower back, a round shield in one arm and thick-bladed javelin in the other. His neck would have gills, his ears were gone and his hair was pushed back further to reveal horns. His once otherworldly blue and red eyes would become a severe monstrous golden hue. Lars would then push with his bipedal legs and lunge forward like a beast looking to end this, moving faster from what it seemed. With the jump, the fake self would leap and attempt to strike and fake Katsu out while the real Lars would go invisible thanks to Elegance and follow after.

                                                          Lars was right Katsu's face, but phased through him with his entire being like a frightening image from a children's horror story. From there, and with another distorted lag from Lars, Katsu could feel his entire torso get cut into ribbons by a plethora of vicious slices from a blade. It was only within that moment where Lars was directly in Katsu's face, at kissing distance, where he'd be able stop him but chances of that or very slim.

                                                          Lars lowers himself and then bullets towards the enemy with the speed of a jet, coming at high speeds BUT he is able to shift his body to alter his own trajectory and movement while airborne, the only thing that cannot be changed is his release into the air and his return to the ground (ie a sword is coming down on him to cleave him in half, he can shift his body to the side upon nearing the opponent).

                                                          This is where the style goes beyond what it once was. Perfected by Kleine, the style allows for you to nigh-instantaneously switch between the false you and the real you. Essentially, you switch places, but you remain invisible. Or you can even switch visibility between the two, if you want. In an ideal scenario, an opponent who has discovered your strategy will begin to defend their right side rather than what's in front of them. You'll still slip through their body, but the result is instead a shredded body where you assaulted from the torso up. Now, your precision allows more than one strike; you can slice them up as you pass by. They will be ready for an attack to the right, but honestly, there's no way to be ready for the elegant once they've become a deceiver. You're faster, your leaps are longer, and you've become unbelievably deadly.

The Swordsman


Katsu hopped back from the spot, watching Lars become monstrous and strange. Haha, what a wierdo! As Lars was changing modes, Katsu felt it was the most appropriate time to switch it up as well. He tossed Helmsplitter away to the side, the axe digging into a nearby tree and hanging there with the hammer swinging under it.

Katsu brushed the seals at his belt with his wrists, the Kiba dual swords, the sharpest in existence, crackling with electric energy. With the blades held parallel to his legs, he felt like a duelist of sorts, a challenger to a beast whichwould charge him.

And Katsu had no doubt that Lars would charge him head on. The Elegance aside, Lars was a Heiland. While his attack posture alone spoke volumes, Heilands always had a thing about overwhelming the enemy with the difference in their raw power.

Based on the typical difference between an Elegance illusion and the real thing, as well as various factors such as killing intent and vibrations in the air, Katsu could make general sense of where Lars was going to strike. How? Because Lars would likely be moving faster than he himself can react. He was using that same ridiculous beast-like movement technique from earlier, along with having that kind of design for legs and releasing some immense pressure. Lars wanted to move faster than Katsu could react, so he'd be moving way faster than his eyes and senses could follow as well. In this, his path was preset, predetermined by the time he begins moving.

Katsu charged up his lightning chakra through the Kiba. His mind became hyper-focused, his nerves supercharged. Lars disappeared in a strange blur. Showtime. Without further thought, Katsu fell to the side in a burst of speed from the Phantom Mirage and maintained balance with Dust Eater, the fake Lars's spear going right over him as the real jagged edge came near. In a immediate second burst of speed applied to his arms, Katsu brought the Kiba blades up, parrying the javelin and Lars's arm in an upward double slash while simultaneously shoving static threads through the surface of Lars's flesh, entangling the nerves and rewiring his bodily control.

Fang also emits a natural flow of lightning, allowing the Swordsman to perform raiton with no handsigns using the blades as the origin, as well as redefining raiton as a weapon technique.

After being trained in both defense and attack the user eyes have become more prone to oncoming attacks and is able to react much quicker giving him insight in battle. He is also able to since someone killer intent and feel the force coming from it.

Making physical contact with an enemy shinobi the Cloud-Nin shoves Static Strings into his opponent and himself, by hotwiring the electrical impulses of the target's brain he disables the target and assumes control of the opponent's body. While in this state the shinobi can only control the target body and has little control over his own body which will remain standing in place. Major problems with this technique is that by severing the strings you break the connection between the target and the Cloud-nin, also the maximum range the controlled body can move from the original body is 50 feet, otherwise the strings will break.

Berserk is an ability that lasts for one post, during which time your base speed is improved by two and your perception becomes hyper-aware. Your strikes become more precise, deadly, vicious; you become a superior swordsman and physical fighter for the post that it is active.

                                                          Lars' tail would do a quick and harsh whip downward, cracking the whip as it were in that brief moment to react when close. From there, Lars would be flung up higher into the air thanks to his tail and he'd spring overhead and land behind Katsu, avoiding the attack completely in the knick of time.

                                                          Lars would form a medium sized javelin from his shoulder, made with diamond-like flesh in terms of strength. With a good hearty throw with his good throwing arm, he fired it with great speed towards Katsu, moving at the same speed the Heiland did. Just as it neared Katsu, the length of the spear would extend exponentially, from its normal 5 feet to 10 feet, just as fast to throw Katsu off. It would be extremely difficult to evade unless his reaction time was equal to that moving to a raindrop falling. It would bore a deep hole through Katsu's chest, piercing through his left lung to make it difficult to breathe.

Katsu Naikiri
The Swordsman


Lars jumped, and Katsu turned. Lars shot, the moment delay giving Katsu enough time to cross his blades in defense. The javelin hit hard on the X, the blades biting into the projectile by an inch, however the momentum was transferred and the sword plus spear flew in one direction, Katsu in another, hitting his back on a tree.

Ah, in terms of range, Lars seems to have the upper hand. Well... Might as well go all-out here, see what happens. Katsu grinned, raising his arms. In his right, the Executioner's Knife. In his left, Samehada. To his right shoulder, there was Shibuki, the Blastsword. At his back, there was Needle, the unbreakable threads wrapping around his torso and limbs to enforce them. His left shoulder had Helmsplitter hovering by it. From afar, the Kiba swords came back to him, each telekinetically hovering at his temples as if they were his own horns. The Twinsword came, split in two at his hips, like tiny wings.

When Lars was in his final form, after all, there was no reason Katsu shouldn't be. For this reason, Katsu opened all his gates. Should he survives the encounter, then he'd come out fine anyway. He focused his chakra around his legs, creating chakra strings to his weapons, and overall becoming a physical monster on par with Lars's form, maybe moreso.

At the peak of this transition, Katsu would blur away, gaining speed greater than Lars's own. He'd appear in front of Lars, closing the distance, and begin his assault. With Kiba, he charges the Thunderswords with raiton like before, winding them with static strings meant to rewire Lars's nervous system and render him stunned, the swords attacking the shoulders and neck from above. Helmsplitter would be attacking Lars's left side, pitting shield against the ultimate shield-breaker. On Lars's right, Shibuki would ram against the javelin with the force of a hundred grenades, enough to shatter any amount of diamonds. Below, the Twinswords slashed upwards with a chakra edge at Lars's legs. Katsu's main hands, the Executioner Knife and Samehada, barraged Lars's torso intending to siphon life and chakra. Behind Katsu, Needle went haywire with slashing the terrain as he passed it, weaving intricate webs of thread.

                                                                    Lars would close his eyes as all of your weapons would phase through him as he lagged a little. The blades all seemed to have hit their mark, or did they? Lars would cover his entire body in blood, giving a very deep crimson like pigment to every inch of his body. Like a second skin.

                                                                    "Prepare to die Katsu."

                                                                    He finally spoke as lagged a little, tearing apart the stitches on his mouth. His entire body gave off a vicious red glow like that of a beast, distorting the air so that it couldn't be predicted that way, tore apart the ground so vibrations couldn't be felt, and the very presence of Lars would make chakra-sensing an absolute nightmare. He drops down to a low swaying stance and brings his fists up. With one blink or no blinking, Lars is under Katsu, post swing, from there, he unleashed an onslaught to Katsu's head and upper body, breaking bones, tearing muscles, one punch even tore out his eyeball out from the sheer strength. The next, he would step to the side to avoid a quick swing in that direction and strike at the liver and completely shatter the ribs, making the organ rupture and the bone become dust. He might die from all of this, risking his life with the eight gates, but he wouldn't stop until Katsu went with him. He sidesteps again, striking at the lower back muscles to cripple posture as well as the upper back, striking to stop the shoulder plates from turning to swing the blades in his hands and with one final strike to the back, he would aim to punch a hole the size of Konoha through Katsu's heart and end it.

                                                                    Stage 5: Breaker
                                                                    You are your peak of physicality upon reaching this stage, due to your constant training you've practically removed all unnecessary movements in your body, allowing you to seemingly move faster; though in reality it's just moving more efficiently. As for your punches you've learned to throw the epitome of punches, meaning you've mastered hitting a persons weak spots, causing more damage than others would; however you don't actually hit harder than others.

                                                                    #8 - I Know You | 20 Points Per Post
                                                                    Lars can make his shadow take the place of receiving an attack, taking all of the damage that post. The real Lars shifts with the shadow near instantaneously and hides within the reverse world, a realm deemed to be the polar opposite of our own. While within this realm, Lars cannot fight and neither can his shadow, all it can do is take and absorb attacks. Every post that the shadow remains in the regular realm, Lars must expel the same amount of chakra. This technique can only be used three times during any battle situation and if Lars is unable to expend the chakra to keep the shadow in the regular world, Lars will be ripped out of the reverse world by force and switched out with his shadow.

                                                                    [Elizabeth] Lars can open up his pores and release blood from every open hole to cover himself in it. While covered in blood, it works like a second skin and can be manipulated by will alone. The blood skin can be regenerated if washed away, but only when away from water entirely. Lars' blood is highly corrosive, touching his body while he wears the blood skin would shred the flesh and damage the bone. When the blood is red, its highly corrosive upon contact and holds S-rank in strength. Its passive as long as its for regular, non-chakra-based physical attacks. It costs chakra dependent upon the rank of physical-chakra-based attack that you'd like to defend against.

                                                                    Saishuudankai: Tekken Tenrai no Raijin [Final Stage: The Divine Fist of Raijin] -- In the final stage of Shuurai Tekken Do, the teacher acknowledges the student's abilities by leaving the last training up to him, as the learning is now essentially complete. A complete emphasis on speed should be the focus of the training in the Final Stage; some training methods used in the past include weighted training underwater, deep squats carrying livestock on the shoulders while standing under a waterfall, and other such extremes. In combat, the practitioner is now the stuff of the legends surrounding this style, seeming to be able to attack without physically moving the body from a standstill. Striking and countering become so fluid and fast that some say the blocks are almost up before the opponent's strike begins and the counter is made before the strike is retracting.

                                                                    The Gate of Death
                                                                    By using all of the body´s energy the final Gate located at the heart is releases and forces the heart to pump blood so fast that the consumption of energy by the body exceeds the previous gates. This uses up all the energy in all the cells of ones body that gives power almost near to infinity. Almost like a big bang effect where energy of life is detonated all at once. Trade off, definite death of user. At the end of the 5th post, the user's body crumbles into dust and vanishes.

Katsu Naikiri
The Swordsman


Lars closed the gap quickly, smart in dealing with a swordsman inside the typical range... but Katsu wasn't a typical swordsman. Abandoning his held blades, the Kiba fangs came to his arms in the blink of an eye, hovering parallel with them like tonfa and using the hilt as the short end and the branch as a hand guard. Moisture in the air gathered around it, creating an electric turrent around his arms in an instant. Lars punched, Katsu turned with it at the last second, his face burning away as the acid tore his flesh away. However, as Lars continued the onslaught, Katsu now met it with his own, meeting Lars's fists with the blunt hilts of Kiba. Speed-wise, he was barely keeping up, meaning a few blows slipped past and flayed his flesh, however he had superior strength which meant that he pushed Lars back each blow he could meet. Lars was messing with his perception, however, so at this point it was difficult to read ahead.

By this point, Katsu understood the nature of Lars's acid. The smell, where it came from, its general look. It was part of his body, the blood. Katsu smiled with his burnt away face. It was too perfect.

While Katsu defended himself from the punches, the rest of his blades would continue to pursue Lars at other angles. Twinswords each flanking with Helmsplitter at his shoulders and joining in to support Katsu's counters, Shibuki and Samehada on standby, while Executioner flew behind Lars slashed itself down at his back.

However, while Katsu was highly proficient in taijutsu-enhancing weapon styles, his skill in this fight was lesser of the two. He stepped back quickly, and again, and again, each retreat giving him greater chance at perceiving the next attack.

Strong Fist of the Knuckle Knife
• Water's Rage: Storm, Rank B
Using Water from a nearby stream, or any other water source(even the water from the air), the water user will then punch forward, like Crushing Force, and the water will then continue forward, blasting right into whatever is in front of it. Since there is the same principal as Crushing Force, with the high increase in strength, whatever it hits will most likely be crushed, or pushed far back.

Metal Arm
• Gorogoro Shotto - Scatter Shot
In this technique the practitioner produces high multiples of jabs, at least twenty - ten from each hand -, at the target. Their hands move at such high speeds that it seems like the user is throwing a quick one-two but rather he is throwing off twenty shots. If the user's punch connects with the target the target will take damage which equals up to a good ten punches. This is merely if one shot connects. If both blades manage to connect the opponent will be barrage with twenty, blade-aided punches.

                                                                    Lars' awakened eyes were still awakened, so all attacks within range were perceived and studied and a countermeasure was planned. Lars would lag again as the blades came close from different directions, seeming to impale the Heiland. This Lars faded away after awhile and seconds later, Lars would reappear just a good distance away, still glowing like a bright fiery red night light.

                                                                    Katsu didn't realize it, but just letting him graze his face with the blood covering him was a bad move on his part. It didn't just burn off his face, it ate away the muscles in his cheekbones, forehead, and chin, as well as other areas there. The blood cotninued to eat away at him like a highly corrosive acid and even went for the bone too, eating at that next. It was an acid of sannin-ranked strength, of course it would do more damage than first thought. His legs click twice, turning more bipedal and beast-like as he would become a blur and then reappear right in Katsu's face as he was jumping back to create distance, from there, with the Shuurai Tekken Do and Eight Gates speed, he kicks Katsu's head clean off.

                                                                    Lars' legs can shift to become more beast like, when shifted, the sannin moves at improbable speeds, being seen as a distorted flicker when he moves to those with doujutsu, those without doujutsu will only see a blur come and go, only while his legs are shifted. His kicks are like receiving kicks from a full grown horse at full power, being stomped on would be like receiving an elephant's stomp on your head. Lars's legs also have traction at the very heel, allowing for him to increase and halt his speed on the drop of a dime, going to 100 mph and then stopping to zero in a matter of seconds (as a form of exaggeration.)
