To say that Taranu was excited was a complete understatement, he was thrilled. It was his first time outside of the pride and he was entirely overstimulated by his surroundings. He was quite familiar with the sights, sounds, and smells that he had grown up around all of his life, but this was an entirely new experience for him.
His eyes had grown wide the moment they'd set off, and he tried to contain the emotions that were swirling through him.
He had now grown into an adolescent, mature and capable enough to make the decision to leave the pride in the company of a band. The young male was quite happy with his increase in size and strength. Taranu couldn't wait to see what the world outside had to offer.

This wasn't his first viking, but nevertheless Hoenir couldn't quite quell the thrill that he felt in his gut. The lion moved slowly and deliberately, his head held high. The reaver felt as though he had expectations of greatness. It not imposed by others, than at least imposed by himself.
The lion moved along the outskirts of the band, choosing to walk where he didn't feel obligated to have conversation with others. After traveling with a group, one could tolerate the conversation for only so long.
The sight of the younger lion caught his attention, though. Hoenir blinked and moved closer.
"On a viking and your mane isn't even grown all the way in, hm? Ambitious," he said casually, giving the other lion a sideways glanced as he walked. Hoenir didn't recognize him, so he must have not been out in the band before. His colors and markings were vaguely familiar, but he wasn't familiar enough with the different families to recognize who this was.Big Hobbit Inaccurate cert is inaccurate. He's already a Reaver c:

"Of course," the young lion spoke with conviction in his voice, "I plan on being a captain one day, and I have to get started now before I get old. I don't want to be an old captain. At least not a first."
So distracted was he by the new environment and experience that he did not notice the older male approach him until he spoke. Taranu tried not to show his surprise and puffed up his chest and stood tall in order to appear confident and larger than he was at the moment. He had grown quite a bit and was bigger than average for his age, but some of the fully grown males in the band still seemed to tower over him.
"This is my first viking," Taranu mentioned with pride, "I hope something exciting happens. Have you gone on a lot of vikings?" He was curious about the experiences of the more seasoned reavers and wanted to learn as much as he could.oo DeD Even better! A guy with some experience
