 After finishing their project, just as promised Caron was bringing Jacintha out for ice cream. Sure it was probably too cold to actually have ice cream, but that didn't matter to Jacintha. She was just excited to spend more time with Caron. Maybe she would even get to spend time with him at Haunted Hallows! However, now they were having ice cream. With a small skip to her step she walked beside Caron, admiring the autumn weather around her. She was glad she all this fur to keep her warm! "Don't you think this is some really pretty scenery?" She asked as they continued their walk, almost all the way to the ice cream parlor. There was a slight breeze of cold air going around them, her braids flowing in the wind a bit. Today was cold for sure.

 Caron was really happy, he planned to spend Hallows eve with Jac and for now, he was getting to take her out for ice cream. He hoped she would agree to be his girlfriend, at least this was a good first step getting her to agree to go out with him. Caron was wearing a warm red jacket since as a fey he was sensitive to the cold. He kinda wished he had fur like Jac to keep him warm, but instead he had with wings, oh well such was life. Caron reached for Jac's hand as they walked along and he answered her, "Yea the Bellow is a nice place, different from the Above but still a really pretty place, I find it interesting the leaves change colors here just as they do in the Above." Caron huddled in his coat to avoid the cold breeze, on their walk to the ice cream shop.

"The Above and Below don't sound too different from what others have told me," Jacintha admitted, her snuggling closer to Canon and holding his hand to keep him warmer. The imp could tell the fey was cold. He was practically shivering! Besides, she was the one with plenty of warmth to give after all, so why not share it with Canon? ", I mean, the two are different, but they have lots of similarities too! Two different places, but some things are just the same." Her eyes began to wander around the place, looking for the ice cream place Canon was bringing them too. She didn't know which one it was, so she had no clue how long the two would be walking in the cold like this. Oh! She didn't mind snuggling up against Canon like this of course, but she didn't want him to freeze ", So how far away is this ice cream parlor? I don't want you to become a Popsicle before we even get there after all!"

Caron looked around as Jaz was speaking about the scenery he nodded and said. "Yes, it is nice.." He was nervous, trying to figure out what to say to her. He was bundled up in layers since the cold was hard for him to deal with as a fey. "Hey, do you want to get hot coco or something instead of ice cream?? I wasn't expecting it to be so cold.." Caron said with a sigh feeling like a fool. Messing up their first maybe date. Caron really wanted things to go well and for Jaz to like him, he hoped his suggestion wouldn't make her angry.

"Couldn't you simply get a lot of hot fudge on the ice cream?" She asked confused a bit. Didn't ice cream parlors also sell warmer foods sometimes, especially during winter? ", Or get something warmer? Of course we could just go to a coffee place... but I really shouldn't have coffee. My friends have sort of... banned me from it." She snuggled him a bit warm to keep him warm, knowing he had asked about getting hot cocoa because he was cold ", We could go into that place right here? It looks like it is warm, and I sure don't want you to freeze. I like you too much for that to happen."

Caron listened to Jaz speak and he laughed "Let's just go to the ice cream place then, maybe your right and they'll be serving hot coco with the ice cream, I'd get hot fudge but it never stays very warm when paired with ice cream." Caron nodded "I don't really drink coffee either, maybe when I'm older, but I think I'd rather drink a cup of earl gray tea than a cup of coffee to look professional and cool as a history major." Caron said with a chuckle. Caron smiled brightly when Jaz snuggled up to him, that was the best feeling ever. Caron turned and kissed Jaz's cheek and pulled her into the ice cream shop to get her the ice cream she deserved.

Jacintha didn't think anything of the kiss, just thinking it as normal despite the two just being friends. With Caron saying they could go to the ice cream parlor still, she gave him a nod ", Maybe they will have warm sandwiches and soup? I've been to a few who do that," Her head looked up to the menu and smiled, pointing to a side menu ", See? Hot foods for a cold customer. That is the actual title of that side menu there. It has so many choices!" Now that they were inside she finally began to realize what had just happened outside, her eyes widening some from the shock of it. Caron had kissed her cheek. Did friends do that? Was that a fey custom that she didn't know of?

Caron wanted to bang his head on a wall, he had kissed Jac and she hadn't reacted at all, so maybe they were just friends. He backed off a little to give her space. Caron must really be made with female.. The thought crossed his mind maybe he would do better with a male, he had struck out with females lately, maybe it was time to try going out with another gender and see if they clicked better than his attempts at dating females. He sighed being a junior was so dark trying to figure out what someone else was thinking. He sighed and looked to try to figure out what he wanted to order.

She didn't think anything of it when he decided to give her space, thinking he was just warm now since they were inside. However, she reached out of hold his hand, giving it a squeeze. Caron was an amazing daydream, but Jacintha was just absent minded ", Hmm... I think I would like to share some food with you. It all looks so good, but you see the size of the ice cream and meals," she motioned over to those who were already eating, the size of everything being pretty decent ", I am not sure I would be able to finish, even the small! Would you like to share some with me?" Turning to face him, her lips curled into a soft smile, a thought coming to her. Caron was handsome, very so! Wouldn't it be great if she one day ended up with him? Surely it would! However, the two had just met, and Caron probably wasn't thinking of dating her at a time like this. Even despite that kiss on her cheek, she was sure he was just being friendly.

Caron was confused, she didn't respond to the kiss on the cheek, but she reached for his hand, so what did this all mean?? Now she wanted to share food. It was much simpler in his culture, you danced when you liked someone but he was to young for that kind of commitment. Maybe he needed to figure out what imp culture was like so he could guess at what the heck Jac wanted or didn't want. "Apple pie and vanilla ice cream please." He ordered enough he thought they could share and it wouldn't be too much for either of them.

"I love apple pie," she sighed, snuggling close to Caron for a moment to rub her face against his. They even had similar tastes! Maybe her and Caron really could end up together. However, she still wasn't sure Caron liked her, especially this early on in their friendship. It was just better to leave things as they were. Besides, right now was perfect between them. Nothing could ruin this friendship right now, and Jacintha wanted to keep it that way, even if it was just for this moment. Fade to Black
