A Letter from the (current) desk
of Miss Ambrosia Aleksei of Ethe.

To Second Prince Kaiden Cross Llewellyn Dearest Kaiden,
I hope my letter finds you well. There's so much to tell you with such precious little time. First I wish that your travels back home had gone uneventfully and that you are resting now. With this letter I have sent some more of the poultice mixture to help ease with the bruising and pain for your head. There's also a vial with a mixture for Aldon to help with his wound, it's a mix of Tumeric, Yarrow, and a pinch of Opium Poppy, to help prevent infection, pain and bleeding. Now with that aside I would also like to once more thank you for allowing me to journey with you for the time allotted. It was a great pleasure meeting you my friend. As well as becoming your friend was more than I could hope for. I do hope however that you were not offended by my manners, or lack there of as well as not recognizing you as the royal you are. Just as I wish you do not hold it against me were I to continue acting so informal with you. All those manners and protocols just make everything feel so stiff and proves to make it hard to form actual bonds of friendship.
Onto the matters at hand. I noticed you were wary in the company of the Emperor and I wished so bad that I would've been able to give you better comfort in that time. But I can assure you he has been nothing but kind and courteous towards me. Promptly after you departed for your journey back home he led me to the gardens. They were beautiful in themselves, but when he led me to their herb section...There were so many herbs Kaiden! Many of them kinds that do not grow in my home land. Their medicinal properties were amazing! He was kind and let me run around like a child in a bakery. He even paid me compliments here and there. We stayed there until the sun set then went inside for an elegant meal. The food here is so different from home, all the tastes and aromas like nothing I've smelled or tasted before. All new and all still very much delicious. After dinner he showed me to the ballroom. Elegant with marble pillars and high hung chandeliers, harpsichord music filling the hall. It was a sight to behold. I'm so lucky to have experienced so much already. I hope to see much more, maybe I can convince him to allow me a trip to the countryside so I may find more herbs and pick them myself so I may begin working with them.
There's so much more to do here, but I still anxiously await the time I may come visit you my dear friend. Seeing you once more and learning more of your ways and culture and of the things you enjoy in your kingdom, is something I look forward to. But I must go, there is still much to do. I patiently await your letter. Oh I almost forgot my dear friend...as of this moment I promise that should you need someone to talk about your troubles with or even of things that excite you and bring you joy, I will be here to listen to you. And as I stated before you left, should there be a time when things feel too hard and you need a friend please feel no heed to hail me to your side. I shall come to be with you my friend in much haste should the occasion arise.

Dear Ambrosia,
Forgive me for not writing to you back sooner, we manage to get home but Mother was furious when we disappeared without saying anything to her or father. Father has not been able to come around lately due to him on being busy but mother was furious with us but mostly toward Aldon I my best to share that blame off of my brother but mother didn't even acknowledge me.
Being a second prince to Zalto is being difficult on not doing anything and appears that Aldon is going through the marriage with Lionis but please do not say anything to the emperor what I just said, I want to keep this between us..I just want to feel included in the Zalto Kingdom..I am doing the best I can for my people to hopefully give my father a break. I miss hearing his voice bellow out in the castle and hear his steps coming to greet all of us.
I am doing some intense training here in my home to hopefully help our soldiers prepare and also protect our kingdom from harm..I hope I get a letter back from you my friend. I hope I get to hear your voice again, I might make a trip back to the waterfall again to train my other senses more effectively..Please be careful Ambrosia and write to me soon and say hello to Rascal for me.

I was delighted to receive your letter. I do not doubt your mother must've been mad. I would've been too. It is a shame she didn't acknowledge you. Fear not my friend I will always pay more attention to you than your brother. Besides his temper scares me. Such cold eyes! I'm glad to hear you are training, you have a fierce mind and to get your body in tune with it will make you even more indestructible! I have so much to tell you and I shall inform you in person very soon. Actually Emperor Azazel has some business tomorrow and wishes me to leave the castle for my safety. So I suggested I visit you and he said he felt I would love seeing Zalto. I shall arrive either later this evening or tmrw morning.
Sorry for such a short letter but I must get back to the Emperor.

To Emperor Azazel
My Beloved,
I have quite a bit of news for you, and I cannot wait to once again be in your arms. First and foremost I reached the castle safely, although I did annoy the driver with frequent stops which the head maid soon explained to me. That leads me to my next piece of information. My love I am with child. I do hope you will keep your word and love us both. The maid tells me that my illness is a good sign of health for the baby. I am scared my love, I want to protect this baby fem everything and to love you for all eternity.
My next piece of information leads to my possibly late return home. I hope to be able to return on the morrow but Kaiden has been struck down by fever and other ailments. I am treating him. The head maid has trusted his care to me solely. I am doing everything I can, most of the symptoms have died down. But this hellish fever will not let go of my dear friend. My love I worry for him.
I miss you dearly and wish so much to once again be in your arms. I love you Azazel.
