She was sure it had flown up here. The kifna wasn't fully grown yet or so she thought since it was having troubles flying. Yet as she finally scaled the tree the medium sized bird had already spotted her, gave her a warning squawk and was hurrying down the branch as quickly as it could. Wings out for it to keep its balance as it went, Shima mimicked with her own arms outstretched to follow suit.

"Come back little birdy, I won't hurt you I just want to be friends." She coo'd trying to coax the creature from running away but with little prevail. Perhaps it was the fact she was chasing it this entire time and making it feel like it was being hunted that betrayed her true intentions. It was true Shima really did want to make friends with it, there was nothing more exciting that the thought of having a large bird companion that she would and could fly about on its back. It was her dream to fly. But this..bird wasn't having any of it.

"Come back here!" Shima shouted as the bird hopped precariously onto a different branch that belonged to a different tree. The kifna gave another screech as if telling her to buzz off before it hobbled forward. Gritting her teeth she ran forward, she could still catch it...she would tackle it to the ground if she had to! But even as she thought of this idea...her foot slipped...and she found herself tumbling out of the tree she was in and towards the forest floor. she was lucky vines slowed and actually impeded her fall but now she had another delimna she was stuck tangled in vines dangling a few feet above the forest floor.

Jerami was witting in a branch above where his sister was with Bruin, completely oblivious at first to the fact that others had arrived until he heard a familiar voice calling out. Lifting his head he looked around for a moment, confused, wondering if whoever was calling out was talking to Bruin. A thought that was proven to be false as he saw a different kinfa, this one a much brighter color scheme, go passed his perch. His eyes followed it before he turned to look toward the one chasing it and spotted one of his two sisters, Shima, as she pursued the bright colored bird.

He opened his mouth, about to call out to her that she should be careful , that the bird might decide to stand its ground if it got cornered, but got cut off by the feral bird's screeching. He paused, looking down at his sister as continued her pursuit, and much to his shock and terror she fell! Jerami gave a cry of surprise, pushing to his feet, and set to scrambling down the branches toward where he'd seen her fall.

"Shima? Shima! Are you alright?" He called after her as he moved, getting his dress and his hair a tangled by pokey branches in his scramble for his sister.

Shima was struggling but upon hearing a cry from a voice she reconigzed she she stopped struggling. Twisting around best she could she peered upwards spotting her on of her siblings Jerami up in the higher branches above her. Wiggling her fingers she gave Jerami a small pathetic wave.

"HI JERAMI!" She shouted, perhaps a bit too loudly. Shima probably should of been embarrassed by her current state of affairs and yet she couldn't help but be her optimistic self when it was one of her family. Stretching out again she didn't feel quite so desperate to free herself. Jerami was here, that meant at least someone was watching her back.

But...hanging upside down was causing her head to spin.

"Lil help?" She called out again trying to right herself so the blood would stop rushing to her brain.

Jerami landed on his feet lightly before hurrying over toward where Shima was currently hanging, entangled in a net of vines. It seemed as though Jauhar itself had opened up its hands to catch her in such a manner, saving her from hitting the ground. He walked over to her, pushing his hair back over his shoulder as he made a circle around Shima. He gave a humming sound for a moment before he nodded, "Of course I'll help you Shima! I just need to figure out how best to get you down."

He wasn't exactly strong enough to just pick her up... so he stepped forward and started to work on the vines, trying to entangle his sister from them, "Just hold on... and be ready... I don't want you to fall again." He told her, not wanting to be the cause for Shima falling the last few feet since she might land on her head. As he went about the slow work that was freeing his sister he couldn't help but to ask of her, "What were you doing, Shima? Surely you know that it's dangerous chasing feral Kinfa! What if it decided to peck or claw at you?"

It was Shima's nature to want to fight against the vines, but with her brother trying to help her it seemed to more of a hinderence if she struggled. So she waited as he went about loosening the tangle her antsiness growing the longer she was stuck in one place. At his question she thought on it thoughtfully, though her answer seemed rather brash and dangerous.

"Well I need a mount if I want to be a gaurdian, so I thought any kifna would do." She explain tensing her body as she felt the vines begin to unravel beneath her. Preparing herself she dropped from the vines lightly on her feet for once and straightened. Giving her sibling a large smile before embracing him.

"Ahh your a life saver Jerami! I could of been stuck there for a long time." She thanked him but even as she removed herself from his embrace you could tell she was scanning the treetops once again.

"I know it's dangerous but I am sure once it got to know me we could be a great team, I just have to find it again." She wasn't so stupid to think that she could tame an adult kifna but the one she had been perusing still wasn't young enough.

"Yeah... a mount is necessary to become one." He murmured in a thoughtful manner, glancing in the direction that the kinfa had gone that his sister had been chasing before he turned back to, about to suggest that she give that one wide berth since it seemed to big for taming. Before he could though he found himself pulled into a hug, one that he happily returned as it was something Jerami really needed at the moment. A hug from one of his sisters was really... nice presently. It made him feel a bit better though a moment later she was stepping back, seemingly looking for her kinfa again.

He watched for a moment, glanced toward Bruin, then back again before he said, "Maybe... maybe a smaller one might better? I mean... it would might take a trip to Tale to find a baby but they are easier to tame." His sister seemed to have her heart set on a specific one though and it was so hard to change Shima's mind when it came to things. If it caught her interest she didn't want to give up on from what he'd seen of her and he worried it would be the same with that particular kinfa. He didn't want her chasing the wrong bird only to get hurt he thought to himself as he clasped his hands together tightly behind his back.

"That one looked nice... I mean, not nice personality wise but looks wise, but there are better ones, friendly ones." He suggested to Shima in a hopeful manner. There were kinfa that would be easier to make friends with and he had to somehow turn her toward those if only to protect her from further danger when it came to that bigger bird she'd been pursuing.

Perhaps it was the fact they were siblings but Shima turned her gaze from the treetops to her brother, a curious expression on her face as if she was debating asking him something. Rocking on her heels as she listened to him she gave a curt nod of her head before scowling a bit.

"You know mama forbade me from leavening the forest...I dare not test her wrath, else she may actually tie me to a tree." Shima sound frustrated, like a teenager who really wanted to rebell, but feared the wrath she may incure by doing so. It was true it would be a lot easier to find hatchlings in Tale but...she didn't want a chaperone, this was something she wanted to do herself.

"He looked strong, I want a mount who can keep up with me..." Her voice trailed off as she looked to her brother. Something felt amiss and she didn't like seeing him look so worried. Without much warning she grabbed onto him, wrestling was her own strange form of affection and proceeded to try to pin him to the ground. If she could manage it she would begin her onslaught of tickling.

Jerami gave a slow nod of his head and said, "Yeah... that's true." Their Alkidike mother had told them in no uncertain terms that they wouldn't be leaving home again. Not after their trip alone to Oba. It had been a terrible idea on their part to go but it was one of those things that had just been far too tempting for them at the time. It had been an interesting trip but not one that he would be likely to go on again any time soon. Especially given that they were lucky to not still be grounded after their last trip. Best that they toe the line best that they could so that their mother would remain happy with them. A thought that made Jerami's heart ache a little bit.

"A mount that can keep up with you? You would need a good one." One that was as tough as Shima was and wouldn't be easily cowed since she could be quite tough! She'd need a strong kinfa but at the same time shouldn't she start with one that was small regardless so that she could train it up properly?

A thought that got completely forgotten as Shima suddenly caught hold of him and without much effort on her part he was soon pinned, "Ahh... Shima? That wasn't very..." His words were cut off as she set to tickling him and there was little he could do but squirm, squeal, and do his best to try to escape... though without much luck since he wasn't exactly the strongest of the three siblings.

Hearing her brothers laughter out a smile on her face, she may be bossy and rather pigheaded at times but she never wanted to see either of her siblings unhappy. Once she felt she had caused him to laugh until his sides hurt she stopped. Then proceeded to lay half on him still pinning him to the ground, she felt she needed to do this to stiop him from running away.

"Your always giving me advice Jerami, and I should heed your wise words more than I actually do, but enough about me. What's bothering you? Don't you deny it, else I'll tickle the confession out of you." shima threatened raising a hand as if to prove her point. Jerami was so different from their sister and Shima herself. In an all female family being the only boy must be tough.

Though Shima rarely saw him as male or really put a label on gender when it came to him. He was her precious sibling and she wouldn't let a little thing like gender drive them apart.

Jerami starred up at his sister as she did her best to squish him, with his first thought going to the stains that had to be getting on his dress. A shame that it was getting messed up but here was to hoping that he would be able to get his dress cleaned up... and it wasn't as though he could get mad at Shima for it. She was sister after all and he loved her dearly, it was impossible to be mad at her, even if she was the one responsible for the all the dirt he was most likely covered in.

Blinking a couple times he starred up at Shima as she actually said that she should heed his wise words more then she did. She said that, but did that mean that she would or that she just should? Hard to say really but here was to hoping that he got through to her at least on the kinfa issues. As she was suddenly turning this around, asking him what was bothering him he instantly said, "Nothing! I... umm..." Then she was threatening to tickle a confession out of him if he denied it and instantly he was regretting that instantaneous reaction. He starred up at her for a moment before he lifted an arm to drape it across his eyes.

"Umm... I just... have been struggling a little with some things..." Did he want to tell her everything? Would it worry her? Should he tell their parents first? Maybe he shouldn't tell a soul, not even his family until he'd been able to visit Aisha one last time? Just thinking on it had his heart pounding his chest with worry.

Shima wasn't the type to look down on others, she did recognize however out of the three siblings he was perhaps the most timid. Then again anyone could be seen as hesitant if being compared to the brash and often headstrong Shima. But to see him in such distress made her worry, slipping off his body she went to kneel where his head was and began to stroke his hair.

"Every one struggles differently, tell me what's on your mind Jerami, maybe I can help you." Shima kindly offered, though she didn't have an inkling about what may be troubling her brother she would at least listen to his problems. Her fingers stroked through his long duel coloured hair taking out tangles as she found them. Even Shima had a gentle side. It was rare but she could be mellow and quite supportive.

She wondered what was bothering him, was he being bullied? Troubles with mum or mama? Maybe he had a falling out with some one she hadn't met yet.

"I can't force you to talk but I am hear to listen. "

Jerami lifted his arm to peek up at his sister as she set to petting his hair, asking him to tell her what was wrong and that she could maybe help him. He sat up slowly, clasping his hands in his lap as he considered it. He wasn't sure about it, if he wanted to tell her, afraid that if the story spread then maybe he'd miss the opportunity to visit Aisha one final time in his life. Still, Shima wouldn't tell, right? Not if she knew that the trip was important to him because the final trip would mean him losing so much. If he could get the last trip in, hopefully with his mother, then at least he would have that memory to hold onto as he went forward with his life.

Glancing toward her he murmured in a hushed and very choked tone of voice, "I... think that maybe... our mother is going to disown me." He hated to admit it out loud to someone that wasn't Bruin because it made it feel more real. His clasped hands tightened to the point that his knuckles almost went white, "It's scary and... I thought maybe if I ignored the signs then maybe I could keep following after you and Jhana, that way everything would stay as it is... but I don't think I can anymore."

Shima shifted backwards to allow her brother room to sit back up she thought for sure he would just allow her to pet his hair and let him cry if need be. She wondered if he was having love troubles. Of course she'd be the worst person to ask about love advice but she would do her best if that was the case. Shima was almost holding her breath in anticipation as he had a very serious look on his face.

When the words were whispered she felt a bit shocked. Their mother? Disown? Jerarda was a rather stern and tough woman but Shima had a hard time believing she would just outright disown one of her children. She tried very hard not to look confused as it would of been rather rude to her brother to make light of his concerns. As he continued speaking she was just getting more confused.

"wait wait....lets roll back a bit here. Why do you think mama will disown you? I mean I think you'd have to kill one of us to make that even a possibility and I know you won't be doing that." Shima reached out her hand to lay it atop of her brothers clenched ones. Sensing that perhaps if she couldn't calm him down he might do something rash.

"Ignore what signs Jerami? You don't have to be like Jhena and I you know that right? You do what you think is best."

"I... we have heard about it though... that if we choose the path of an Earthling that... that the Alkidike will turn their backs on us and our mother... she is one of them. What if... because of what I can do she doesn't want me anymore?" He asked in a hushed tone of voice, his eyes blinking rapidly as though to struggle against the stinging in his eyes. He didn't want to shed tears, afraid that would make him look even weaker at the moment. He shook his head, "I... I was thinking of asking her of taking to Aisha one last time... and then telling her after."

Lifting his gaze he looked up at his sister, then away again, "I... wanted to be like you and Jhana... I thought that maybe if I did what you two did, if I became a Guardian, rode on Bruin's back, that maybe I wouldn't be as... different, you know? I tried to ignore itbut didn't quite work out that well... magic doesn't seem to like to be ignored." He really did try and it only seem to make itself more and more well known, seemed to want to make more and more of a mess the longer he tried to shrug the powers off.

Shima tilted her head slightly as she listened to her brothers worries. He was so sweet and caring, probably a much better person (at least a lot more considerate) than herself.

"But mamma decided to love mom and that...is..kinda bad I think..." Shima pondered a bit on her words, she didn't like the idea that their mothers loving each other was bad. IF they hadn't loved each other Aisha wouldn't of made the blooms of the three of them. So...she wasn't entirely sure if it was bad or not.

Shaking her head she lifted a hand to shake it like dismissing her earlier statement.

"No..I mean. Hmm I don't really know enough about Aisha I guess. I mean...if following an earthling path is...bad..." Shima scrunched her nose and then gave an irritated sigh, she didn't like thinking about these kinds of things. She preferred it black and white, but this topic was sorta grey.

Turning her head to look back to Jerami she shifted so that she was sitting beside him and wrapped and arm around him. "You wanted to be like us? But...I mean I wish I could use magic..just like mommy does. I think both our mothers will be impressed." She murmured leaning her head to touch against his. He was very different from Jhena and herself but he didn't have to force himself to be the same.
