Tank Guide - How To Start My Tank:

1. Scroll over to My Gaia and click Aquarium.
2. Once the page loads, Barret will talk to you. He will ask you to do a few things to get you started with your new tank. You will receive some items for doing these tasks.
3. You can name your tank. To name your tank scroll over to the top left side of your tank (past the Aquarium Inventory) and click on it then type in what you'd like it to say and click save.
4. You can name your fish. To name your fish scroll over to the right side of your tank (look for the fish in a tank) and click on it. You'll see all of the fish that you have in your tank (you can have 17 fish at a time). Click on the fish that you want to name. Type in the name and click save 2 times to name your fish.
5. To add fish, backgrounds, or decorations to your tank scroll over to Aquarium Inventory (top left of your tank) and choose the item(s) that you'd like to add by clicking on the item(s) one at a time and dragging them into your tank. Then click save at the top right of your tank. You can move your decorations where you want them (for the most part). Once you have your decorations where you want them, click save.
6. At the bottom of your tank, there's food, music, and temperature settings for your fish. Different fish like different things. The more hearts from your fish when you choose those the happier they are each day. You can feed your fish each food 1 time per day. You can change the music and temperature setting as much as you'd like to find the best setting for your fish.
7. Check the Happiness meter on your tank by clicking the Heart.
8. Make sure to check your tank daily to grab any dead fish (for fish drops) and to grab any items that the Overseer gives you (the clam in your tank).
9. To get items from the Overseer daily just click on it, once a day. Items will
vary depending on your fish type(s), tank happiness, and how often you take care of your fish and log in or so I've heard.

Aquarium Tips:

1. Different fish like different lighting, temperature, and music which correlates to the fish's happiness and health. Hearts show if it likes and squiggles show if it dislikes a certain setting.

2. A variety of fish usually results in a healthier tank, but it is harder to make all of the fish happy.

3. More expensive fish generally will make the tank healthier than cheaper fish, but their happiness meters are usually higher.

4. Feed them on a regular basis. If you can't then give the fish to Barrett so they won't age.

5. Decorations don't make fish happier, but they do impact the tank's overall health.

6. You can buy GC fish in the Marketplace for gold/platinum or get them for free from Daily Chance or the Dumpster Dive.

7. You can buy Goldfish, Cuttlefish, and cheap decorations. It would take time to make a healthy tank but it can be done.

Overseer Grants:

1. Gold (varying amounts)
2. Gold Shop items
3. Cash Shop items
4. Titan's Legacy: (evolving item)
5. Octopus (on my head) : Red/Green/Blue
6. Leviathan's Grace: Chest/Gauntlets/Anklets
7. Lidless Demon Armor: Helm/Chest/Leggings/Boots
8. Regalia of Ancient Fire: Circlet/Vest/Mantle/Leggings

Booty Grab: How To Make A Bump Thread

How do I make one of those threads with only one post on the first page?

1: Go to the Gaia Aquarium forum.

2: Create a New Topic with the title of something like "Do Not Post"

3: Reply until you reach the second page.

4: Delete all the posts you have made on the first page except for one. This will be your post for whatever message you want to say to your bumpers and have your signature at the top. Edit the post and remember to change the title.

What should I put in my post other than a message?

Awesome's Glow Timer is the timer you see in most people's bump threads. Place your tank ID into the ??????.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Awesome's Analyzer is another popular thing. Clicking it will gives information about the tank and it's fish. Again, put your tank ID in the ??????.

Analyzer
Awesomo Analyzer - Add your tank id # where the ?s are.

How do I get my bump thread to be linked from my aquarium?
1: Account Preferences

2: Copy your thread's ID and paste it into the box located in the left column

Tank Exposure

I have my bump thread and my signature set up! How do I get others to play my tank?

1. Have an appealing thread title. You want wording that will make people want to click your thread over someone else but do not lie about what is in your tank.
I would suggest leaving out GLOWING and stick to the content of your tank for the reason that a bump thread is only supposed to be at the top of the list because it is glowing.

2. Visit a variety of forum pages. Chat and make friends.
Go to other Booty grab pages, grab tanks and post when you grab them.

Spending an extra few minutes helping out another person's thread will get you good reputation vs just bumping once and moving on or not bumping at all.

Scroll over to "My Gaia" then scroll over to "Account Settings" and click "Account Settings". Look on the "Account Settings" page down on your left side, down past "Currency Type", "Images", and "All Signatures". You're looking for "My Signatures". There's a box called "Show Aquarium". If it's check marked, un-check it. Also, un-check the box above in the "All Signatures" that says "Show Aquarium". That should fix your problem.
