Tank Guide - How To Start My Tank:
1. Scroll over to My Gaia and click Aquarium.
2. Once the page loads, Barret will talk to you. He will ask you to do a few things to get you started with your new tank. You will receive some items for doing these tasks.
3. You can name your tank. To name your tank scroll over to the top left side of your tank (past the Aquarium Inventory) and click on it then type in what you'd like it to say and click save.
4. You can name your fish. To name your fish scroll over to the right side of your tank (look for the fish in a tank) and click on it. You'll see all of the fish that you have in your tank (you can have 17 fish at a time). Click on the fish that you want to name. Type in the name and click save 2 times to name your fish.
5. To add fish, backgrounds, or decorations to your tank scroll over to Aquarium Inventory (top left of your tank) and choose the item(s) that you'd like to add by clicking on the item(s) one at a time and dragging them into your tank. Then click save at the top right of your tank. You can move your decorations where you want them (for the most part). Once you have your decorations where you want them, click save.
6. At the bottom of your tank, there's food, music, and temperature settings for your fish. Different fish like different things. The more hearts from your fish when you choose those the happier they are each day. You can feed your fish each food 1 time per day. You can change the music and temperature setting as much as you'd like to find the best setting for your fish.
7. Check the Happiness meter on your tank by clicking the Heart.
8. Make sure to check your tank daily to grab any dead fish (for fish drops) and to grab any items that the Overseer gives you (the clam in your tank).
9. To get items from the Overseer daily just click on it, once a day. Items will
vary depending on your fish type(s), tank happiness, and how often you take care of your fish and log in or so I've heard.

Aquarium Tips:
1. Different fish like different lighting, temperature, and music which correlates to the fish's happiness and health. Hearts show if it likes and squiggles show if it dislikes a certain setting.
2. A variety of fish usually results in a healthier tank, but it is harder to make all of the fish happy.
3. More expensive fish generally will make the tank healthier than cheaper fish, but their happiness meters are usually higher.
4. Feed them on a regular basis. If you can't then give the fish to Barrett so they won't age.
5. Decorations don't make fish happier, but they do impact the tank's overall health.
6. You can buy GC fish in the Marketplace for gold/platinum or get them for free from Daily Chance or the Dumpster Dive.
7. You can buy Goldfish, Cuttlefish, and cheap decorations. It would take time to make a healthy tank but it can be done.
