Unto his lordship, Reinhard of Bellris From Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto
"Sir Roland, my beloved, how wonderful it is to hear word from you. Your alias is rather amusing, but the idea does seem warranted. I sadly cannot use an alias to send you letters since you wish it to seem as though we are speaking of trades. Any way, I too have continued to think of you and long for the day we may finally see each other once again. Our night at the inn was magical and I would enjoy 'seeing' your land of rivers and forests green. As of late it appears the turmoil of Lionis has not moved from there, though we do still feel the effects a small bit. My family and I are well and safe for the time being, but I pray you are safe and that your family are not affected by the events as well. I also pray that we will both be able to at least be together.
Forever yours,
Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto."

Unto his lordship, Reinhard of Bellris From Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto
"Yes it is wonderfully amusing, and that night was magical indeed. I will warn you now however that such subtle wishes may make this young maiden blush, which would in turn rouse curiosity from those around her. It would be truly delighting to stroll through our lands freely, though I do believe you already know every inch of my own hehe. Perhaps once things settle down and the rebellion is concluded you and I will be able to tell our families of our love and relationship, then maybe we'll be able to finally show our lands what true love looks like in a young royal couple. I must agree though that it is torture not being near you my love and not a day goes by that I don't wish I could just look upon you. Now about your sister's choice to become separate from Lionis and make your lan into a republic. I feel it is going to be hard for you all, but so long as it is the best choice for your people and the land, then I don't see why it would cause issues. It has been rumoured long before now that Bellris wasn't fully loyal to the Lionis crown, there for I see no reason for such a matter to be concerned with. We all have our loyalties and the only ones that really should matter are those held for your family and loved ones. As long as your people will be looked after and happy then it matters not if you and your sisters are loyal to Lionis or not. It is considered a trivial matter so long as those under the republics law are content, happy, healthy and well taken care of.
Forever yours,
Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto"

Unto his lordship, Reinhard of Bellris From Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto
Oh my dearest how it pains me to read you words and not be able to hear them instead, but I shall be content with letters until such time as we may be once again in each others arms. Your sweet words and noble nature mixed with those strong arms, handsome features, crimson eyes and black hair make it just as easy to for me to say "I love you" and mean it as well. And I do love you my dear Roland, always will. I have heard about the fires going on, but other then that father has kept things close to his chest in a hope of keeping myself and the family safe I believe. That being said however I do hope you and your kin will remain safe in this chaos and that the protesters don't cause much more trouble than they have already. As for questions to you, I cannot think of anything at the time. Though I suppose some may arise once I've had a little time to think things over.
Forever yours,
Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto"

Unto his lordship, Reinhard of Bellris From Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto
"Hehehehe I do believe that I'm allowed to flatter my beloved if I so wish to. Plus it may help in these trying times to hear or read words of love from the one your heart belongs to, I know it certainly is for me any way. Again I warn of your subtle hints making a poor maiden blush where others may see, but oh I do long for the day we can be in one another's arms again. As for the future, I pray that it is with you by my side, growing old and making the republic you're building a better place. Though I must say that I think your sister may have things rather well at hand at the moment. My only question to you about the matter however is, why she did not try to separate earlier?
Forever yours,
Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto"

-Roughly a week after recieving the last letter- Unto his highness, Roland Leoharz, Prince of Bellris From Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto
"Please forgive the shortness of this letter, I only have a few minutes before I will be requested at dinner. Oh my dearest Roland I pray you remain safe even in your raid on the camp. Things as far as I know have started here as well, but father still remains rather tight lipped and simply wishes for me to remain within the castle walls where it is safe. Of course if I ask to go into the courtyard at all I'm surrounded by guards, my only clue that things are worse, and feel terribly alone. I believe father and my brothers will be going into battle at some point, but again they say nothing knowing that mother and I shall worry. for their safety before they have even left. It frightens me knowing that they shall be away fighting in the war at some point and knowing that you too may soon be fighting outside of your lands soon. I love you my dearest Roland and await your next letter anxiously, hoping this one finds you well.
Forever yours,
Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto"

Lord Hedo Sorry inspiration hit and I couldn't help writing.
-A few months of nothing, during the war. Plus quite a few months after that, now that the war as ended and Emperor Azazel has begun his reign.-
Unto his lordship, Reinhard of Bellris From Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto
"Dearest Roland, I've not hear word from you in such a long time that I fear you've been taken from this world, though I pray it's not the case. Oh my love so much has happened that I scarcely know what to write first. Zalto still lives on, though war can be seen on the faces of those that fought and are arriving home to their families. We did unfortunately loose some men according to rumours I've overheard, but so has the other kingdoms, though nothing like what had happened to Ethe. I've only had a few moments chance to speak with mother about how things truly went, but from the look on her face most days it's clear she is worrying over many things. We have had famine strike for a short time, the lands have been flooded once again, father and my brothers have been doing more and more training. I believe they will very soon be leaving for battle. Any way my beloved I won't bog you down with all the woes that are happening here, just know that since the war has started we are all safe and alive.
Oh Roland! Since writing the above, as you well know, the war has ended, but my love I have some news that is cause for concern. It would seem the emperor has visited the kingdom and spoken with both mother and father. He wishes that my brother Aldon marry one of his daughters and I marry his eldest son, though he will settle for whomever we agree upon sending to marry one of his children. As it stands we have a total of 3 months time to discuss the matter and decide, after which point the emperor will come to choose for us. It is a fear that in the end he will not like the choice we've made and decide to come force the one he wishes upon up, but until we make our choice and send our answer to him we shall not know. I just couldn't walk about another day knowing that something like this could potentially ruin our chance at a future, and not knowing whether you are alive or not is slowly killing me. I truly pray this letter finds you well and that you will write back as soon as you have the chance. I love you Roland and pray our future is not hanging in the balance. Please my love be safe.
Forever yours,
Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto"

Lord Hedo ^-^ Your letter was perfect in its own way and nearly made me tear.
Unto Roland Leoharz, Prince of Bellris From Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto
"It both gladdens and pains my heart to hear from you my beloved. I am overjoyed that you were victorious in your endeavours during the war and have remained alive and well through out it. I am also overjoyed knowing that you don't wish for another man to steal me away from your loving arms and still wish to have me for your own. Hearing of the loss you have suffered however pains me greatly. I hereby send condolences to you and your surviving sister Hysteria for the loss of Theodora. I pray she is in the heavens smiling upon your republic and helping the gods grant happiness to your people as well as your family. Your reasons are sound for not writing my love and I fully understand them, so please don't be sorry. I am just relieved that you have not been taken from this world and that we may still be able to meet once again.
I will look forward to the day you arrive unannounced and wrap your arms around me once more, for I long to be held by you again and to ease you of the pain you've suffered in these past months. Until then my dearest Roland my love and comfort will be with you.
Forever yours,
Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto"

A tear stained letter arrives mere days after the adventure they shared.
Unto my beloved Roland Leoharz From Athena Llewellyn of Zalto
"I am writing this to you my beloved to say thank you for the wonderful adventure and to inform you of the sad time facing myself and family. Upon arriving home from spending time with you my love I was told some grave news. My father the late king of Zalto had passed away. This leaves myself and family to grieve is loss before my brother Aldon is to assume the throne. I do not mean to sadden your heart my love, but I had to tell you. I will try to stay strong in this my love, but I cannot seem to find the will to smile. If only you were here by my side to help me, but I shall make due.
Forgive me for burdening you with the news my love, and I hope to hear from you eventually.
Forever your,
Athena Llewellyn, grieving Princess of Zalto."

Unto Roland Leoharz of Bellris From Athena Llewellyn of Zalto
"Your love and words held within your letter have helped ease my pain in this time of grief. My family and I are staying strong together as my father taught us to do in times of trouble. Each day that has passed, I've felt him smiling down upon us a little bit more. I do take comfort in knowing that he is proud of us and no longer burdened by the weight of this world. I also take comfort in knowing that my heart is taken care of even when you cannot come visit me or I you. The knowledge that father did and does love us all has also helped bring the tears to an end, though there will still be moments of utter pain from the loss. I shall continue looking towards the future my beloved and hope for the day we will be united as one. Thank you for the words of comfort and love, I am forever grateful that the fates brought us together and could not ask for more. I love you Roland, now and forever, with all of my heart and soul.
Forever yours,
Athena Llewellyn, Princess of Zalto"

Unto Roland Leoharz of Bellris From Athena Llewellyn of Zalto
"We seem to bring comfort to one another as needed Roland. As for knowing you are here should I need to talk, I can scarcely forget such a thing. After all we have had our adventures and will most likely enjoy more again. I must admit that reading about your speaking to your sister and her approving was a shock, but I am glad of it. Perhaps she's right about the guidance of a woman being good for you hehe. As you already know my brother Aldon has given his approval of us, though it may have changed with father's passing, but I doubt as such. The relationship we have still remains secret here as well and shall continue as such until we are together to announce it properly, though neither of us knows when that time will be. As of now my love we are in need of nothing material, although I long to be held in your arms again, that is but a wish for another time. Should anything arise I will inform you of it, until then I shall look forward to simple topics between us.
Forever yours,
Athena Llewellyn, A princess in love"

Lord Hedo Okay I had to write this. It sort of just hit me how I could explain things. Sorry if it sucks.
Unto Roland Leoharz of Bellris From Athena Llewellyn of Zalto
"I am writing this to update you as promised my love. My family and I have been strong together in the month that has passed since father's death. We have also been grateful for your generous offer of help, though we've not needed anything. It seems as though my dear eldest brother Aldon has chosen his bride and my beloved elder brother Kaiden is happily in love with someone as well. Mother is better, though naturally still saddened from the loss, as we all are, but she is trying to show strength. Any way my love that is all the update I have for you at this time and hope you are doing well. I love you Roland and hope to hear from you soon.
Forever yours and with child,
Athena Llewellyn Princess of Zalto"

Unto my love Roland of Bellris From your love Athena of Zalto
"I cannot express the joy it brings me to read the words you've written in your last letter, and the words I had written in mine are true. I am with child my love. At first I didn't think it was the case, having just lost father at the time, but I can tell you with complete certainty it's true. All the signs were there and just being misread at the time. I have been so worried though having told you and waiting for your letter. I actually began to doubt your love for me, but managed to make sure to shake myself out of such thoughts. I shall be telling my mother and brothers about being with child, and shall ask permission to visit Bellris. I must suggest though that you perhaps write my brother Aldon and formally ask for my in marriage, so that he as king can give the final approval. I hope to see you soon my love and that it will be before our child is born so that we may talk more about names and such in order to be prepared for when our child is born.
Forever yours and soon to be wife,
Athena of Zalto."

Lord Hedo Just after speaking with her family, the day after her last letter.
Unto Roland of Bellris From Athena of Zalto
"I am writing this letter to you my love as an update to my last. I have spoken with my family and told them of our child growing within me. As expected there was both great joy and some anger. Mother is disappointed and angry that I did not think things through better, but with time she will calm and hopefully come to smile about this as well. Aldon is angry and I think a little hurt by this, but will most likely calm down. He does however request you visit him as soon as possible so that you both may discuss how the situation will be handled. I have been forbidden to leave the castle by both mother and Aldon, so I cannot come to visit you in Bellris. I do hope to see you again and perhaps finally be able to become your wife. I love you Roland and look forward to your response.
Forever yours,
Athena of Zalto."
